BRO.ANSELM … My teacher ….In 1965 at my age of 15 he handed over my SSLC BOOK in person to me and wished me well….The bond between me and my teacher however continued further… I was so emotionally attached to him that we used to be in touch with each other till last Christmas in 2012 Dec…When i talked to him after receiving his affectionate Christmas card in DEC. he was telling me that he would be meeting me again in Feb 2013, at chennai when he comes down to Chennai from Yercaud for his medical checkup.
Perhaps this is the first time , he will not be able to keep up his word to me….One of Santhome Montford Brothers called me on the night of 7 Jan and told me that our affectionate BRO.ANSELM has left all of us in lurch and merged with JESUS on 7th evening at Yearcud Montford School.
He was not only my teacher….but a good friend, philosopher and guide at all times ….I am sure many of his students would miss him a lot like me..
Here is a Poetical Tribute to that Great Personality….
Natarajan

A very good tribute to the beloved teacher which reveals his wholesome character to worship.
Indeed, you brought tears into my eyes, as I read the poem, I couldn’t control my emotions, and a person of your kind who has experienced so much, how is it possible for you to bear, I cannot really understand with the human mind. You are truly a student of Br. Anselm and so am I. I had the privilege of being a student of him in Campion for two years. He has touched me and made to grow with his principles and more than all his inspiration is rewarding and I am the fruit of his labour. Thank you dear sir and I had been to the funeral today, I have no words, he is not with us but he lives in our memories and in spirit. God bless you.
sir
excellent tribute to the dedicated teacher from the devoted student
Hats off to Him
May His soul rest in eternal PEACE.

important tribute to brother anslem
Sir,
Really surprised to know that you had been in touch with your teacher till last x-mas. It is amazing that though you were in a high position, you did not forget the GURU who had been instrumental in your growth. I have no words to appreciate your good deeds. The kavithai in Tamil is really wonderful. Thank you, Sir,
With regards,
( T S Raghavan )
I LIKE THE POETIC TRIBUTE TO YOUR TEACHER. Next to the parents teachers take pride in our growth. A good teacher is always remembered. Alas, today we hardly find dedicated teachers.
I still remember the good old days, we spent in Santhome high school . Bro, Anselm was a wonderful teacher with a humane touch.
Your poetic tribute will touch the heart of every person particularly his students. May his soul rest in peace..

Hello Mr. Natarajan….i just happened to google Bro. Anselm and it came up on your blog post about him. YES, he was a great teacher, friend and a Philosopher but to me he was my uncle. As your tribute says, “Love and knowledge, character, love” describes him….but this is also true too..” This world is empty without you empty”. Anyway, I just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU SIR!!!!
Very Respectfully
