Budget iPhone From Apple ?

Budget iPhone in the works: Apple set to launch cheaper version later this year
The less expensive phone is likely to resemble the standard iPhone but with a cheaper body
Most of the other parts could remain the same or be recycled from older iPhone models
Cheaper product has been in the works since at least 2009 with Apple seeing it as a way to grab market share and introduce people to the brand
But executives fear it may dent profits and turn off investors

Apple is developing a cheaper version of its iPhone and could launch the new device as early as this year.
The tech giant has been exploring a lower-end iPhone for years but plans have accelerated as Apple’s supremacy in smartphones has slipped, sources told the Wall Street Journal.
The less expensive phone is likely to resemble the standard iPhone, but with a different, cheaper body. Making the shell out of polycarbonate plastic rather than the aluminum casing of the iPhone 5 would allow Apple to lower the cost.

Most of the other parts could remain the same or be recycled from older iPhone models, according to the WSJ.
Launching the cheaper phone would be a big shift in corporate strategy. Under former chief executive Steve Jobs, Apple prided itself prioritizing profits over scale and offered a relatively small number of products mostly targeting the high end.

Message For The Day…No Breath , No Life..Know Breath Know Life!!!!!

Only if there is alertness and presence of mind can your life improve. For this, you need to cultivate the habit of listening. Most of us are not good listeners. When you are listening to somebody, the speaker’s very first sentence triggers some conversation within you. You are constantly agreeing or disagreeing with the speaker. Have you ever wondered whether you can listen without any thoughts or pre-conceived notions? To cultivate the habit of listening, you have to “go” to a place where everything is beautiful!

Where is this place? That most beautiful place is within you! When you come to this place, then any place is beautiful. Then, wherever you go, you add beauty there.Learning something about our breath is very important. Our breath has a great lesson to teach us: for every rhythm in the mind, there is a corresponding rhythm in the breath, for every rhythm in the breath, there is a corresponding emotion. So, when you cannot handle your mind directly, through breath you can handle the mind. Neither at school nor at home does anybody teach you what to do when you are upset or angry or depressed.
The first thing we did when we came to this planet is that we took a deep breath and then we started to cry. The last thing we’ll be doing: we’ll breathe out and make others cry! In between, the whole life, we are breathing in and out, but, we have learnt very little about our breath! No breath, no life… know breath, know life! We need to learn a little bit about our breath. We need to know a little bit about all the layers of our existence-body, breath, mind, intellect, memory, ego and the self. This is what I call Art of Living, learning a little bit about ourselves, the seven layers of our life. And that makes you be in the present moment, and it helps us to maintain the innocence that we are all born with, and feel at home with everybody, anywhere.

What I would suggest is, take one week off every year for yourself, like you take your car for servicing. During that time, align yourself with nature, wake up with the sunrise,do some exercise, eat proper food, just as much food as necessary, some exercises, yoga, and some breathing exercises, a few minutes of singing, and then some silent moments, enjoying the creation. Book yourself on a trip to this most beautiful place in the universe. Then you find that every day is a vacation and a celebration!!!!

A Thrilling Experience of A Doctor with Periavaa….

A very senior general surgeon from Karnataka, well-known for his services to poor patients recounted this incident to DR.S.Kalyanaraman, chennai…… He said he was traveling one evening with his wife and children by car on a rather lonely highway. Suddenly there was a torrential rain and visibility became quite poor. He was able to proceed only very slowly and by about 11 p.m. he reached a small village. There was a bright light in one of the houses on the road and some persons were standing on the road outside the open door. The Surgeon stopped the car and got out to enquire whether there was any nearby hotel or guest house where he could stay overnight. The person asked him whether he was a doctor and whether he had come with his family. He replied “Yes”. The people said we have been waiting for you for more than two hours. Food is ready. Please come in, have your dinner and take rest. He was very surprised and asked whether any of them were his former patients and had recognized him. They said “please come and have food first. Let the children take rest. We will answer all your questions after dinner”.

Half an hour later when everyone had taken their dinner, they told him, “We heard earlier in the day that Maha Periyaval was going to a nearby town through this village to his next camp. We had prepared food for Him and the Mutt people. However, when He came, we requested Him to stop here, take rest and then proceed. He said that He had to reach the town on time before the rains started. However He added that, late at night a doctor with his family would be coming by car and that they would be tired and would need rest. He told us to look after these guests. So we have been waiting for you more than two hours wondering when you would come”.

This doctor had never seen Maha Periyaval earlier. After this event he visited the Mutt and became a great devotee.

Wild Life Bridges….

This is a wildlife bridge in the Netherlands. Wildlife bridges are designed to help animals cross busy highways in safety. They don’t just protect wildlife from being hit by cars – they also connect fragmented habitats and help populations intermingle and breed.
The Netherlands is leading the way in designing these bridges. The country is home to more than 600 similar crossings.

Chanting Rama Naama ………

source::::input from a friend of mine….very interesting inf. for sharing with all…

natarajan

A guru was teaching Vishnu Sahasra naamam to a group of young boys. Guru chanted the slokam :

“Sri Raama Raama Raamethi Rame Raame Manorame |
Sahasra naama Tathulyam Raama Naama Varaanane ||”

Then he told the boys: “if you chant Raama naamam 3 times, it is equivalent to chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranaamam or chanting Lord’s Naamam 1000 times.

One of the boys could not agree with the teacher. He questioned the teacher “Guro, how can 3 times=1000 times? I do not get the logic. How 3 naamams =1000 naamams? The smart Guru, a great devotee of Lord Raama spontaneously explained: Lord Shiva says that the name of Lord Rama is the sweetest of all the words & chanting this name would be equivalent to chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranama or thousand names of Vishnu.

Here is the interesting calculation to prove that 3 times chanting of Rama naamam = 1000 times chanting or chanting the whole Vishnu Sahasranaamam.

Take the name Rama. It has two Sanskrit letters RA& MA
RA (2nd consonant in Sanskrit : ya, RA, la, va, sa and sha)
MA(5th consonant in Pa, Pha, Ba, Bha, MA).
Substitute the value of RA & MA as 2 & 5 to make RAMA : 2 X 5= 10. So Rama Rama Rama = in nos: 2×5 x 2×5 x 2×5 = 10x10x10 = 1000. Three times chanting Rama naamam is equivalent to chanting it 1000 times.

The boy was happy with the answer and started learning Vishun Sahasra naamam with full concentration and devotion. Let us thank the naughty boy and spread this to many friends
for their information and chanting Rama Namam at least (1000) times both morning and evening atleast.

Periavaa”s Sense of Humour on His neck pain!!!

Dr.Kalyanaraman..Neuro Surgeon”s Experience with periavaa…

Maha Periyaval was suffering from some pain at the back of His neck. Dr. Badrinath who had just operated on His Holiness for cataract suggested that I should examine Maha Periyaval for suspected spondylosis and suggest treatment. The camp was at Sholapur at that time and one afternoon we arrived there. After lunch I was taken to Maha Periyaval’s presence. I was told that He was suffering from high fever in addition to His earlier complaint of neck pain. He asked me to go ahead with the examination.

I performed Shashtanga Namaskaram to Him first. He asked me why I was performing namaskaram. I replied “Before I examine every patient in my clinic. I perform namaskaram mentally to you and pray to you that the patient should be cured. When you are yourself my patient now, to whom can I pray except to you and I should be successful in my treatment? His Holiness smiled and said “Go ahead”.

After completing the examination I found that His temperature was 105 degree. I hesitatingly told Him, “Periyaval is having high fever. Will it be possible to avoid cold water bath for a day or two till the fever settles down? His Holiness replied “How can that be done? Yesterday was Chandra grahanam and last night I performed grahana snanam (bath at the time of eclipse) with the same fever.

I said, “Iswara, how can Periyaval’s physical system stand such strain?”

Maha Periyaval asked me “Do you know how grahana snanam is performed?”

I said I did not know.

His Holiness: “You have to hold your nostrils and take a dip in the river till the whole head is fully immersed in the water.

I was aghast that His Holiness had done this.

Then he added “Not once, but 108 times!”

I nearly fainted! I said “What treatment can I give you?”

“Only Lord Siva, whose incarnation you are, is protecting your body in spite of 108 head baths in the river with a body temperature of 105 degree. What can a poor mortal like me do except to pray to Lord Siva to keep you in good health for our sake for many many more years to come?”

Once, when I was asked to see Maha Periyaval for His neck pain, I diagnosed cervical spondylosis and suggested that He do some simple exercises for the same. The exercises consisted of normal movements of the neck such as looking down, looking up, and turning to the right, turning to the left, bending to the right and bending to the left, in all six normal movements. I requested Him to do this several times a day. When I went to Sri Mattam for darshanam on the next occasion I asked Maha Periyaval whether He was doing the neck exercises regularly.

His Holiness: I was doing the neck exercises regularly for a few days and then stopped doing them.

I asked: why?

Maha Periyaval remarked with a mischievous smile,

“You asked me to do them several times a day. I started doing them even when I was talking to visitors. Many bhakthas thought this was a new form of yoga-abhyasam which I practicing. So they started moving their necks exactly as I was doing. I thought even those who had no neck pain may get it due to the violent movement! So I stopped doing them!”.

Message For the Day…Make your Smile Cheaper !!!!

Research done in England found that a baby smiles 400 times a day, an adolescent 17 times and an adult doesn’t smile at all! The more successful one keeps a very stiff face. Is roughness a sign of success? Is being stressed a sign of prosperity, growth or dignity? You should smile more. Every day, every morning, look at the mirror and give a good smile to yourself. You know what happens when you smile? All the muscles in your face get relaxed. The nerves in your brain get relaxation, and you get the confidence, courage and energy to move on in life.
You know, your smile is so fragile! Just one telephone call is enough to take it away! But what is the big deal about your feelings? Bundle them up and throw them into the ocean! Once you are rid of your ‘feelings’ you can be happy. Just see why your spirits go down? Because somebody said something stupid to you. And why did they say a stupid thing? Because they had some garbage they needed to throw out and you were there, ready to catch it! And once you have caught it, you hold on to it so passionately! Come on! Wake up! Don’t let your smile be snatched away by anybody!
Usually, you give your anger freely and smile rarely as though a smile is costly. In ignorance, anger is cheaper and smile costly. In knowledge, a smile is free like sun, air,
and water and anger is extremely expensive, like a diamond. Make your smile cheaper
and anger expensive! You are here for a greater cause. Just remember that. Take a challenge: “Come what may, I am going to smile today and be happy!” Smile more.
