Perfectly Timed Self–Portraits Of a Japanese Girl Artist !!!

TAKING hanging around to a whole new level, for the last two years Tokyo-photographer Natsumi Hayashi has snapped a daily self-portrait of herself going aerial.

Armed with her tripod and Canon camera on self-timer, Hayashi ignores the confused stares of baffled onlookers to leap into the air seconds after she presses her shutter button.

The remarkable results make it appear as if she spends her days permanently floating around Tokyo, defying the laws of gravity.

“To achieve the look of levitation it’s crucial that you don’t appear to be jumping,” she says.

“That means a controlled facial expression and lack of movement. It should look like a moment frozen in time, not mid-jump.”

7 “C” s Of Happiness !!!!

What are the critical ingredients for experiencing genuine happiness? Here are seven elements of life that I believe are essential to the attainment of human happiness. I call them the “7 C’s in the pursuit of happiness.” One is not more important than any of the others.

1 -Compassion
In order to evolve into a state of happiness, you must develop your in-born ability to care about life, to value life in all its forms, to engage in loving, kind actions, to cultivate an attitude of what Nobel laureate, Dr. Albert Schweitzer called “reverence for life,” (including your own).

2 -Contentment
Inner calm. Peace of mind and heart does not mean acceptance of everything that happens. It does mean letting go of fear. When you live life fearlessly, you experience a kind of peace that permeates every cell of your body, every thought of your mind, every emotion of your heart, every element of your spirit.

3 -Connection
Without effectively connecting to other humans, you become less than human yourself. Connection means involving yourself in relationship to everyone around you, connecting to your own inner life, and becoming aware of the environment in which you live. Learn to create high-quality relationships, and your happiness is almost guaranteed.

4 -Communication
Communication is our primary method for connection. It increases your knowledge, your understanding, and your awareness. Language is precious. Words are the building blocks of all happiness.

5 -Commitment
Oprah Winfrey says that what motivates her to get up in the morning is “my commitment to my life and fulfilling my life purpose.” If one of your life’s purposes is to enhance your happiness, committing your life to the service of others brings more happiness than you can imagine. Happiness requires you commit yourself to something larger than yourself.

6 -Consciousness
Most spiritual teachers believe we are living in a sleep-like or dream state. In order to be happy, one must increase one’s awareness of life. And the single awareness that is most conducive to happiness is: the impermanence of everything. Life is in a constant state of flux, of change, of rhythm and of evolution.

7 -Creativity
Creating your life experience by consciously choosing your thoughts, your actions, your decisions and your attitudes will allow you to attain personal happiness regardless of external circumstances.

The pursuit of happiness is not something you search for or attain from outside your skin. Happiness develops from within. You were born to be happy. You were given life to experience happiness. Pursuing it is your right. Sail the 7 C’s of happiness and the pursuit of it becomes obvious and being alive becomes the happiest of moments

Pretty Good Thinker !!!!!…..For Instant Laugh !!!!

A grocery store employee is working in the produce department when a customer approaches and asks to buy half a head of lettuce.

“You can’t buy just half a head, we sell them whole.” says the employee.

The customer responds “Go get your manager, and I’ll ask him.”

So the employee goes to his manager and says “Some idiot out there wants to buy just one half of a lettuce head…”, then suddenly realizes the customer is right behind him, so he turns and gestures “and this gentleman would like to buy the other half!”

After the customer leaves, the manager says “That was pretty quick thinking, where are you from?”

The kid says “I’m from Brazil.”

“So why didn’t you stay there? Isn’t it a beautiful country?”

“Yea, but the place is full of either soccer players or sluts.” Said he kid.

“My wife is from Brazil!” growls the manager.

“Really?” Asks the kid without losing a beat, “What team does she play for???!!!!

Message For The Day…..Keep Pace With Time For Sadhana !!!!

Life is short, time is fleeing: your spiritual practice (sadhana) is creeping at tortoise pace. When will you decide to proceed a little faster? Your sadhana is like the answers you write at the examination. If you get only five or six marks, the examiner will strike out even that, saying, “What is the use of these few marks: it will take this student neither here nor there.” If you get somewhere near the passing marks, then Grace will give you just a little more so that you may pass, provided you have been a diligent and well-behaved student. Engage yourselves in good deeds, good company and good thoughts. Fix your attention on the goal.

 Spiritual Sadhana means cultivating good thoughts and undertaking good deeds. – Baba

A Winning Smile !!!!

This story concerns the legendary sage Mulla Nasruddin, whose humourous tales contain a delightful down to earth wisdom which cross cultures and centuries. Many different middle-eastern regions claim him to be their own, where the ever popular Nasruddin is often shown besting his worldly superiors. As in the following anecdote, he somehow always manages to score the winning point.

The Sultan of Arabia had grown very fond of Mulla Nasruddin and often took him along on his travels. Once, while on a journey, the royal caravan approached a small nondescript town in the desert.

On a whim, the Sultan said to the Mulla, “I wonder if people would know me in this small place. Let us stop my entourage here and enter the town on foot, and then we’ll see if they can recognize me.”

Accordingly, they dismounted and walked down the main road of the dusty town. The Sultan was surprised to see that many people smiled at Nasruddin, but ignored him completely.

Irritated and a trifle angry, he said, “I see that the people here know you but they don’t know me!”

“They don’t know me either, Your Excellency!” replied the Mulla, innocently.

“Then why did they only smile at you?” questioned the Sultan.

“Because I smiled at them.” said Nasruddin, smiling.

This simple tale beautifully portrays how the simplicity of a childlike smile can speak more than worldly finery and authority. Often we may believe in the power of our intelligence, or our ability to impress or argue a point, but fundamentally when we express the five human values as ‘love in action’ we will more often than not receive a response from people’s hearts and create little miracles of love. Sometimes the silent strength hidden in our soul can blossom forth in a simple smile – try it!

Power of Words You Speak ….You Are What You Think of Yourself !!!!

Tremendous Powers of
Words You Speak

Think about the tremendous power of words:

* Do you keep telling yourself how difficult life is? If you do, you will always see difficulties everywhere.
* Do you keep telling yourself how poor you are? If you do, your subconscious mind will always be busy justifying these thoughts.
Change the words and sentences you use, and you will get different results. The way you phrase a sentence will always affect the results, and some results could be quite dramatic.
This applies to words you repeat in your mind, words you say aloud, and words you read.
Different words affect people and differently and cause different reactions. This applies to work interviews, dating, advertising, relationships, conversations and every sort of communication.
The words you repeat in your mind, in your inner conversations, also have a tremendous power. If you change them, you can change your life, and also how people treat you.
Pay attention to the words you constantly repeat in your mind. Be aware of what is going on in your mind, when you are not too busy, such as while waiting in line, travelling by bus or train, walking, or at any other time you are mentally not busy.
What kind of words do you repeat in your mind?
If you always say:
* I am weak
* I am poor
* I cannot…
* This is a problem
Change the words, and instead say:
* I am strong.
* I am rich.
* I can.
* This a solvable challenge
Say these words with faith and conviction, not just uttering them without believing them. This might be difficult at first, but if you persist, the inner resistance will get weaker, and the words would sink into your subconscious mind. When this happens, things would start changing in your life.
Remember that words have power:

1. Words can change your life
2. Words affect how you feel
3. Words affect how you react
4. Words affect how you treat people, and how you treat them
5. Different words bring different results
Are you seeking to improve your life, earn more money, develop new habits, achieve success, or make changes in your life?
Learn how to use affirmations effectively. This is easy and simple.
Everything you need to know about affirmations and how to use them for every goal and situation.

A Daily Cup of Greek Coffee Could be Key to Longevity !!!!

The elderly inhabitants of the Greek island Ikaria boast some of the highest rates of longevity in the world, and now scientists believe that the secret may lie not just in their heart-healthy Mediterranean diet but in their daily caffeine fix.

Findings: A new study has found that drinking certain types of coffee could help you to live longer

Could a daily cup of boiled Greek coffee be the secret to a longer life?

In a new study in the journal Vascular Medicine, researchers from the University of Athens Medical School found a link between the good cardiovascular health of the island’s elders and the boiled Greek coffee they drink daily.

Only 0.1% of Europeans live to be over 90, the researchers said, yet on Ikaria, the figure is 1%, with the islanders tending to live out their long lives in good health.

From a sample of 673 Ikarians aged over 65 who lived on the island permanently, the researchers randomly selected 71 men and 71 women to take part in the study. Medical staff checked for high blood pressure, diabetes, and other ailments, and subjects answered detailed questionnaires about their medical health, lifestyle, and coffee habits. In addition, the researchers tested their endothelial functioning — the endothelium is a layer of cells that lines blood vessels, which is affected both by aging and by lifestyle habits, such as smoking.

Prior studies have suggested that moderate coffee consumption could not only reduce the risks of coronary heart disease but have a positive impact on several aspects of endothelial health, the researchers said.

The researchers investigated all types of coffee that the subjects imbibed — but interestingly more than 87 percent of those in the study consumed boiled Greek coffee daily. Subjects who drank mainly boiled Greek coffee had better endothelial function than those who consumed other types of coffee. Even in those with high blood pressure, boiled Greek coffee consumption was linked with improved endothelial function.

“Boiled Greek type of coffee, which is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants and contains only a moderate amount of caffeine, seems to gather benefits compared to other coffee beverages,” says lead researcher Dr. Gerasimos Siasos.
