Message For The Day…..Keep Pace With Time For Sadhana !!!!

Life is short, time is fleeing: your spiritual practice (sadhana) is creeping at tortoise pace. When will you decide to proceed a little faster? Your sadhana is like the answers you write at the examination. If you get only five or six marks, the examiner will strike out even that, saying, “What is the use of these few marks: it will take this student neither here nor there.” If you get somewhere near the passing marks, then Grace will give you just a little more so that you may pass, provided you have been a diligent and well-behaved student. Engage yourselves in good deeds, good company and good thoughts. Fix your attention on the goal.

 Spiritual Sadhana means cultivating good thoughts and undertaking good deeds. – Baba

A Winning Smile !!!!

This story concerns the legendary sage Mulla Nasruddin, whose humourous tales contain a delightful down to earth wisdom which cross cultures and centuries. Many different middle-eastern regions claim him to be their own, where the ever popular Nasruddin is often shown besting his worldly superiors. As in the following anecdote, he somehow always manages to score the winning point.

The Sultan of Arabia had grown very fond of Mulla Nasruddin and often took him along on his travels. Once, while on a journey, the royal caravan approached a small nondescript town in the desert.

On a whim, the Sultan said to the Mulla, “I wonder if people would know me in this small place. Let us stop my entourage here and enter the town on foot, and then we’ll see if they can recognize me.”

Accordingly, they dismounted and walked down the main road of the dusty town. The Sultan was surprised to see that many people smiled at Nasruddin, but ignored him completely.

Irritated and a trifle angry, he said, “I see that the people here know you but they don’t know me!”

“They don’t know me either, Your Excellency!” replied the Mulla, innocently.

“Then why did they only smile at you?” questioned the Sultan.

“Because I smiled at them.” said Nasruddin, smiling.

This simple tale beautifully portrays how the simplicity of a childlike smile can speak more than worldly finery and authority. Often we may believe in the power of our intelligence, or our ability to impress or argue a point, but fundamentally when we express the five human values as ‘love in action’ we will more often than not receive a response from people’s hearts and create little miracles of love. Sometimes the silent strength hidden in our soul can blossom forth in a simple smile – try it!

Message For The Day…..Deposit Your Devotion To God & Draw The Grace Of God !!!

Unless you deposit an amount in the Bank, how will the Bank honour a cheque you issue? So too, ask yourself: ‘Have I deposited enough devotion to the Lord, service to my fellow-beings and faith in my spiritual practices?’ If you do, then you will most certainly draw the Grace of the Lord. Always remember and be sure that you will get as much Grace, in proportion to your perseverance to attain the Lord. The Supreme Divine has and will yield many benefits to you, that you cannot deny. I bless you that you may grow more and more in devotion to the Lord, in whatever Name and Form you choose and I wish you earn the Lord’s Grace to a very large extent.

 The one who realizes his identity with the Divine will not cause harm or hurt to anyone. – Baba

A Private Jet Maker Is Thriving By Making Old Planes New Again !!!!!

Designing a new airplane is an incredibly expensive, complicated, and long process, one that can prove wasteful if not executed properly — as Boeing‘s troubled Dreamliner jet has proven in recent months.

nextant 400XT on Production Floor

In 2007, looking to avoid the costs and pitfalls that come with new aircraft, aviation entrepreneur Kenn Ricci created a business that would sell small jets for half of what they usually cost, thanks to a simple change.

Instead of building new jets, Nextant Aerospace would take old jets, refurbish them, and sell them for 50 cents on the dollar.

The result, President Sean McGeough says, gives you “everything a new aircraft gives you.” Unless a buyer is dead set on having a 100 percent new plane, he seems right. That’s because Nextant retains the hull of the plane, then replaces just about everything else.

So far, Nextant has produced one model, the 400XT, based on the Hawker 400. The huge cost of designing a plane from scratch does not have to be recouped, so the price of the planes stays low.

In refurbishing a jet, the airframe is kept, while the avionics and any life-limited components, along with the interior, are replaced. From start to finish it takes about 6,000 man hours of work, around 16 weeks.

Before re-entering service, the jets go through the same certification process and flight testing as any new plane. The end result, McGeough says, is a “virtually new” airplane.

In fact, he says, the updated planes are often improvements of their original selves, because they are outfitted with systems developed since the planes were first designed. Once a Hawker 400 becomes a Nextant 400 XT, its operating costs drop 30 percent, and its range improves by 50 percent, says McGeough.

McGeough joined Nextant as President after leading Hawker Beechcraft’s international operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Selling old planes instead of new ones was “very new territory,” he says, but he was drawn to Nextant by its value proposition and track record of high deliveries: 25 planes in 13 months.

Matt Doyle is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Flight Options, a fractional jet ownership company that has purchased 12 aircraft from Nextant (its chairman is Kenn Ricci, Nextant’s founder). Asked if he hesitated before buying refurbished aircraft, Doyle said no.

If Flight Options can offer essentially new planes to its customers for half the cost, and saves everyone money, it’s a good deal, Doyle told Business Insider.

Nextant

That’s especially important in a private jet industry that has been lagging in the United States in the wake of the recession. Nextant has sold aircraft to corporate clients, commercial fleet operators, and wealthy individuals.

Its business model has proved popular abroad as well: Despite expectations that its clients would be mostly domestic for the first few years, McGeough now predicts 60 percent of its products over the next three to five years will go to foreign buyers.

So far, Nextant has not gone beyond its first product, the refurbished 400XT. To build on its early success, the company is getting ready to announce its next model, a few months from now.

And while selling old planes may seem questionable, the saga of Boeing’s Dreamliner — the commercial passenger jet full of new technology that was designed to change the industry — proves its wisdom.

The Dreamliner debacle is an example of why remanufacturing works, McGeough argues: “You don’t go through the teething problems you would on a cleansheet design,” and you work only with proven technology.

Beluga….Super Transporter Plane from AIR BUS !!!!….A Jumbo Giant in Sky!!!!

Business is booming at Airbus: The European planemaker just closed a huge deal to sell $24 billion worth of A320 jets to Indonesia’s Lion Air, and it’s busy building the A350 XWB, the plane it created to compete with Boeing‘s 787 Dreamliner.

Airbus is based in Toulouse, France, but produces planes in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and China.

To transport the wings and fuselages of half-built planes from one factory to another, it needed a plane bigger than any standard cargo jet.

So it built the Beluga.

Developed in the 1990s and based on the A300 (the wings, engines, landing gear, and lower portion of the fuselage are the same), the Beluga has one of the biggest cargo holds in the world.

It’s the best way to get the body of a jumbo jet, a fleet of helicopters, or even a priceless painting across the planet.

It’s also one of the strangest looking planes in the skies.. Airbus Created This Bizarre Plane To Fly Jumbo Jet Parts Around The World

airbus beluga transport plane

With its main compartment open, the Beluga looks like a whale swallowing its prey…thus the name .It is built to fit entire aircraft fuselages..On a typical flight, Beluga carries more than 100,000 pounds of cargo.  It is 56 Feet tall !..And the diameter of the fuselage is  24 Feet…

The Beluga is available for charter. In 1999, it was used to fly Eugene Delacroix’s huge painting, ‘Liberty Leading the People,’ from Paris to Tokyo for an exhibition.
Seeing it on the ground, it’s hard to believe the huge plane can get airborne. But it’s actually made with a maximum takeoff weight of 341,713 pounds.

At the 2012 ILA Berlin Airshow in September, one was used to attract potential employees.   It’s official name is the A300-600ST Super Transporter.

From the ground, it seems almost like a normal jumbo jet — but not quite. Its wingspan measures more than 147 feet.

Thursday Apple Rumors:!!!! iPad Shipment Estimates Slashed!!!

Here are your Apple rumors and AAPL news items for today:

Chopped: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has trimmed its internal shipment estimates for iPads this year, DigiTimes reports. The company had previously anticipated shipping about 60 million standard-sized iPads and 40 million iPad Minis this year. However, it has cut the forecast for the standard-sized iPad to 33 million units, while boosting projected iPad Mini shipments to 55 million units. At these estimates, the company expects to ship a total of 88 million iPads this year. DigiTimes as a mixed record of accuracy on Apple-related reports. However, a number of other recent reports have suggested weaker demand for the company’s iPads and iPhones this year. The iPad Mini is priced well below the standard-sized iPad and may be cannibalizing sales of its larger kin at a higher rate that previously anticipated.

What To Do with Apple (AAPL)?

Cheap: A new music streaming service from Apple may be delayed because of the company’s effort to reduce royalty payments to record labels, AppleInsider notes. In its first proposal to record labels, Apple offered to pay 6 cents per 100 songs streamed. By contrast, the established music streaming service Pandora (NYSE:P) pays twice that rate. However, the record labels were apparently expecting Apple to pay even more — 21 cents per 100 songs streamed. That would be closer to the 36 cents per 100 songs paid by Spotify. While negotiations between Apple and the record labels continue, the rate the company will pay remains a hurdle to the service’s launch.

iSteal: Theft of Apple products has become so common in recent years that police have dubbed the phenomena “apple picking,” the Huffington Post notes. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has observed that Apple thefts tend to spike shortly after the company unveils a new product. In the Big Apple, such thefts actually contributed to the city’s first rise in crime in two decades last year. Thieves sell stolen iPads, iPhones and iPods in underground markets which send many of the devices overseas to emerging markets in Asia, Eastern Europe and South America. The underground trade in stolen mobile devices is worth a staggering $30 billion annually

Message For The Day…Take Care of Your Health !!!

Pay attention to your physical health. Satisfy the demands of Nature. Otherwise your head would reel and your eyes might get blurred through exhaustion. The car must be given the fuel it needs, is it not? Maintain your body well as an instrument for a higher purpose. How can the thoughts of the Lord be stabilized in a weak frame? A road roller is fed with oil, coal and other types of fuel. But why is it fed and well-maintained? In order to lay and mend the road, is it not? So too be careful not to forget the purpose of this body, even as you tend to it. Never forget that you have been gifted this body, so you might realize the Lord and end the cycle of birth and death.

Power of Words You Speak ….You Are What You Think of Yourself !!!!

Tremendous Powers of
Words You Speak

Think about the tremendous power of words:

* Do you keep telling yourself how difficult life is? If you do, you will always see difficulties everywhere.
* Do you keep telling yourself how poor you are? If you do, your subconscious mind will always be busy justifying these thoughts.
Change the words and sentences you use, and you will get different results. The way you phrase a sentence will always affect the results, and some results could be quite dramatic.
This applies to words you repeat in your mind, words you say aloud, and words you read.
Different words affect people and differently and cause different reactions. This applies to work interviews, dating, advertising, relationships, conversations and every sort of communication.
The words you repeat in your mind, in your inner conversations, also have a tremendous power. If you change them, you can change your life, and also how people treat you.
Pay attention to the words you constantly repeat in your mind. Be aware of what is going on in your mind, when you are not too busy, such as while waiting in line, travelling by bus or train, walking, or at any other time you are mentally not busy.
What kind of words do you repeat in your mind?
If you always say:
* I am weak
* I am poor
* I cannot…
* This is a problem
Change the words, and instead say:
* I am strong.
* I am rich.
* I can.
* This a solvable challenge
Say these words with faith and conviction, not just uttering them without believing them. This might be difficult at first, but if you persist, the inner resistance will get weaker, and the words would sink into your subconscious mind. When this happens, things would start changing in your life.
Remember that words have power:

1. Words can change your life
2. Words affect how you feel
3. Words affect how you react
4. Words affect how you treat people, and how you treat them
5. Different words bring different results
Are you seeking to improve your life, earn more money, develop new habits, achieve success, or make changes in your life?
Learn how to use affirmations effectively. This is easy and simple.
Everything you need to know about affirmations and how to use them for every goal and situation.
