Message For The Day….Your Present Life is Like A Dream!!!

Everyone must make their exit someday – that moment should not be one of anguish; one must depart with a smile and a bow. In order to accomplish that, a lot of preparation is necessary. Leaving all that has been accomplished and accumulated during a long lifetime is a very hard task. So prepare for it from now, by discarding attachment to one thing after another. You see many things in your dreams, and you may even acquire power and position. When you awaken, you do not cry over the loss of those, even though they were very real and gave you real joy and satisfaction during your dream. You tell yourself, “It was just a dream” and move on with life! What prevents you from treating with similar nonchalance, all the possessions you gather during the waking state? Cultivate that attitude and depart with a smile, when the curtain is drawn!

India Puts World”s First Smartphone in Space !!!

India has become the world’s first country to launch a smartphone into space – loaded with a number of experimental ‘Apps’, some serious and some just for fun.
The British-built Strand-1 spacecraft, developed by scientists in Surrey, was sent into orbit from Sriharikota in India to test the capabilities of many standard smartphone
components for a space environment.
Launched into a 785 km Sun-synchronous orbit on Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO’s PSLV launcher on Monday, the spacecraft is an innovative 3U CubeSat weighing 4.3 kg and is the world’s first “phonesat” to go into orbit, as well as the first UK CubeSat to be launched.
Developed by a team from the University of Surrey’s Surrey Space Centre (SSC) and Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL), STRaND-1 is a training and demonstration mission, designed to test commercial off-the-shelf technologies in space.
“STRaND-1 from SSC and SSTL is an example of the real synergy of academic research linked to commercial development and exploitation that is the hallmark of Surrey,” Professor Sir Martin Sweeting, SSC Director and also Executive Chairman of SSTL, said.
“This launch is SSTL’s first with ISRO, and I am looking forward to exploring opportunities for further launches and a wider collaboration on space projects in the future,” Martin said in a statement.
During the first phase of the mission, STRaND-1 will be controlled by the satellite’s attitude control system and a new high-speed linux-based CubeSat computer.
During phase two the STRaND-1 team plan to switch many of the satellite’s in-orbit operations to the smartphone, a Google Nexus One which uses the Android operating system, thereby testing the capabilities of many standard smartphone components for a space environment.
The smartphone has also been loaded with a number of experimental “Apps”, some serious and some just for fun.
The Scream in Space app was developed by Cambridge University Space Flight and will make full use of the smartphone’s speakers.
Testing the theory ‘in space no-one can hear you scream, made popular in the 1979 film ‘Alien’, the app will play videos of the best screams while in orbit and screams will be recorded using the smartphone’s own microphone.

Message For The Day….Not Only Preach..But also Practice…

Do not be carried away by the cynicism of critics – that should serve only to encourage you. Examine the faults that may lie dormant in you and work sincerely to get rid of them. Do not merely give platform speeches on the excellence of qualities such as charity, service, sympathy, equality, secularism, etc. Descend from the platform and practise at least a few ideals sincerely. When your neighbour is in the throes of a serious illness, do not rest content with the idea that you are happily free. You are not free if even one is suffering or bound. Remember that the food you give to each living being reaches the Supreme Divine Himself, the service you do to any being, anywhere in the globe, fills the Lord with joy.

Message For The Day….Worship With Faith…..

Keep your faith in the Lord undiminished. You can then safely move about in the world and no harm will come to you. When one loses one’s way and strays into the wilderness, believing in the world, then the Avatars come to warn and guide. Your attitude must be like the village women, who carry pots of water in their heads, one over the other and keeping their balances even when talking and walking along a winding lane. They do not forget or ignore the burden or their goal and destination. They are always vigilant, conscious of the hardships on the way – the stones and the pits. It is the inner concentration that will pay you rich dividends!

You worship with faith and you experience Grace. Faith results in Grace,
without your being aware of it. – Baba

Message For The Day…..Wherever You Are You are Near Me !!!

What do people know of the motives that prompt the Lord and His actions? Some found fault with Sage Narada for repeating the name of the Lord, always, without intermission. But until Sayujyam (merging in the Absolute), the name has to be used; the idea of separation will end only with mergence, not before that. Do not waver or doubt when once you are convinced. Seek to understand and satisfy yourself. After that, do not be misled. When the Sun is over your head there will be no shadow; similarly when faith is steady in your head it should not cast any shadow of doubt

However you are, you are Mine, I will never give you up. Wherever you are, you are near Me. You cannot go beyond My reach. – Baba

Message For The Day…4 Keys For Living in Joy….

Make four resolutions about your life hereafter and live in joy. 1. Practise Purity – Desist from wicked thoughts, bad habits and mean activities that weaken your self-respect. 2. Do Service – Serve others, for they are the reflections of the same entity of which you yourself are another reflection. No one of you has any authenticity on your own, except with reference to your Creator, the Lord. 3. See Mutuality – Feel always the kinship with all creation. See the same current flowing through all objects in the Universe. 4. Live in Truth – Do not deceive yourself or others by distorting your experience….

The one who discriminates well before engaging in any activity, will naturally be righteous in conduct and behavior. – Baba

Some Thoughts For Sunday !!!!

Never feel bad if people remember you only at the time of their need. Feel previleged that they think of you like candle in the darkness of their life.

10% conflicts is due to difference in opinion and 90% is due to the wrong tone of voice !!!

A man asked Buddha ” I want Happiness”.. Buddha said : ” first remove “I” .That is Ego. Then remove “want”. That is desire. See now what you are left with … It is “happiness” only .

Our eyes are placed in front because it is more important to look ahead, than to look back!!!

Life is an echo. What you send out , comes back to you. What you sow… you reap…what you give, you get back…What you see in others, it exists in you !!!

We used Pencil when we were kids… But now we use Pens … DO you know Why ?….Because , mistakes in childhood can be erased !…But not now !!! at this age !!!

When I shut my mouth and turn back and walk away, it does not mean you have won …It simply means that you are not worth anymoreof my time !!!

If you are depressed, you are living in the Past… If you are anxious , you are living in Future… If you are at ease, you are living in the Present !!!!
