” Common Sense ” ….A Missing Legend …

An Obituary printed in the London Times…..
 

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:- 
– Knowing when to come in out of the rain; 
– Why the early bird gets the worm…
– Life isn’t always fair;
– And maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death,
– by his parents, Truth and Trust,
– by his wife, Discretion,
– by his daughter, Responsibility, 
– and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 5 stepbrothers;
– I Know My Rights
– I Want It Now
– Someone Else Is To Blame
– I’m A Victim
– Pay me for Doing Nothing

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Message For the Day…” Meditation Means Offering the Flower of Love to the Divine…”

Meditation is a process that takes place beyond the senses. Consider a rose plant with branches, leaves, flowers and thorns. Locating a rose plant with a flower in a garden requires concentration. Once we have concentrated and identified the flower, the next stage is to pluck it without the thorns. Love is the flower, lust is the thorn. We have to carefully pluck the flower, without the thorn. This is contemplation. Having plucked the flower, what do we do with it? We must offer it to the Lord. Thus, meditation means offering the flower of love to the Divine. In the rose plant of our body, there is the rose of pure and sacred love, emitting the fragrance of good qualities. Below the rose, however, there are thorns in the form of sensual desires. The purpose of this life and meditation is to separate the rose of selfless Love from the senses and offer it to the Lord.

தந்தது உன் தன்னை

தன் மனம், மார்க்கம் அனைத்துமே ஸ்ரீமஹா பெரியவாளே என்னும் ஆனந்தக் களிப்போடு தன் பிறவிப்பேற்றை அனுபவித்த ‘பிரதோஷம் மாமா’வின் அதி தீவிர பக்தி, அவரை ’64-ஆம் நாயன்மார்’ என்று மஹா பெரியவாளே அங்கீகரித்தருளும்படி செய்தது.

இவரின் பக்திநெறி ஒவ்வொன்றையும் மஹா பெரியவாளே வகுத்துக் கொடுத்ததாக பல அபூர்வ சம்பவங்கள் சாட்சியாக விளங்குகின்றன.

நடு இரவில் தன் இல்லத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வழி நெடுக ஈஸ்வர நாமாக்களை விடாது பாடிக்கொண்டு சுமார் நான்கு கிலோ மீட்டர் தூரத்திலிருந்த ஸ்ரீமடத்திற்கு பாதயாத்திரை செய்து தரிசிப்பதை ‘பிரதோஷம் மாமா’ தனது ஆனந்த அனுபவமாகவே கொண்டிருந்தார்.

பிரதோஷம் மாமா நடுநிசியில் பயணம் செய்யும்போது சில பக்தர்களும் அவருடன் வருவது வழக்கம். அதுபோல அன்றொரு நாள் இரவு தரிசன யாத்திரையில் திருவரத ஓதுவாரும் கலந்து கொண்டார். இதனால் வழியெங்கும் தேவாரமும், திருவாசகமும் ஒலிக்கத் தொடங்கியது. ஓதுவார் உரக்கப் பாட உடன் சென்றவர்களும் இதே போல் குரலெடுத்துப் பாடினார்கள்.

எப்போதும் ஓங்கி ஒலிக்கும் ’அருணாசல சிவ’ அப்போது தடைபட்டது போல் பிரதோஷம் மாமா உணர்ந்தார். ரமண மஹரிஷியின் மீது இவருக்கு இருந்த அபரிமித பக்தியினால், திருவாசகத்திற்குப் பதிலாக ‘அருணாசல சிவ’ என்று சொல்லலாமே என்று உடன் வந்தவர்களிடம் சொல்லிப் பார்த்தார். நமச்சிவாயமும், அருணாசல சிவமும் வேறல்ல என்று ஏன் இவருக்குப் புரியவில்லை? இதனால் மடத்தில் வீற்றிருந்த சர்வேஸ்வரருக்கு இவருக்கு பதில் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்ற தீர்மானம் ஏற்பட்டு விட்டது. தரிசன யாத்திரை முடிந்து, அவருடன் வந்தவர்கள் மஹா பெரியவாளை தரிசித்து மகிழ்ந்தார்கள். ஓதுவார் ஸ்ரீமடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு போய்விட்டார்.
அப்போது மஹான் தமது திருவிளையாடல் நாடகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார்.

“ஓதுவார் எங்கே?” என்று மஹான் கேட்டார். அவர் புறப்பட்டுப் போய்விட்டார் என்று மஹானுக்குத் தெரியாதா என்ன? பிரதோஷ மாமாவுக்கு விளங்கவில்லை – ஏன் மஹான் ஓதுவாரை அழைக்கிறார் என்று…

மஹான் பிரதோஷ மாமாவை அழைத்துக் கையில் ஒரு புத்தகத்தைக் கொடுத்தார். அது தன் கைக்கு வந்தவுடன் மெய் சிலிர்த்ததை உணர்ந்தார் பிரதோஷ மாமா. அருணாசலமா, நமச்சிவாயமா என்ற இவரது மன சஞ்சலத்தை அனைத்தும் நானே என்று சொல்லாமல் சொல்லித் தீர்த்து வைத்து விட்டது போலிருந்தது.

அவரது சிந்தனை வேறு பக்கம் திரும்பக் கூடாது என்று நினைத்த மஹான், “இந்தப் புத்தகம் எந்த வருடம் வெளியானதுன்னு ஓதுவாரைக் கேட்டுத் தெரிஞ்சுண்டு வா” என்றார்.

இது போன்ற வேலையை மஹான் தன்னிடம் சொன்னதே இல்லையே, இந்த விஷயம் இவருக்குத் தெரியாதா? இந்த வேலைக்கு மடத்து ஊழியர் போதாதா? இதற்கு ஏதாவது காரணம் இருக்கும் என்று நினைத்த பிரதோஷம் மாமா இதற்காக சென்னைக்குச் செல்ல வேண்டிய நிலை. காஞ்சியை விட்டு எப்போதும் அகலாதவருக்கு இப்படி ஒரு சோதனையா?

மஹானின் மனதை யார் அறிவார்? சென்னை சென்று ஓதுவாரை பார்த்துத் தகவல் அறியச் சென்றவருக்கு அங்கே ஓதுவாரைத் தேடவும் ஒரு துணை தேவைப்பட்டது.
இதற்காக மஹானிடம் பரமபக்தி கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு வைணவ அன்பரைத் தொடர்பு கொண்டு ஒத்தாசை செய்ய அழைக்கலாம் என்று நினைத்தார். போன் வசதி இல்லாத காலம் அது. இதனால் பணி ஓய்வு பெற்றபின், பிரதோஷ மாமா தனது அலுவலகத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டிய கட்டாயம்.

அலுவலகத்தின் உள்ளே நுழைந்ததும் இவரை எதிர்பார்த்துக் காத்துக் கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு அன்பர் இவரை வரவேற்று மூச்சு விடாமல் பேசத் தொடங்கினார்.
“ரொம்ப ஆச்சர்யம். நீங்க எப்படி இங்கே வந்தீங்க? உங்களுக்கு நாங்களே கடிதம் எழுதி வரவழைக்கலாமுன்னு நினைச்சோம்… ஏன்னா, உங்களுக்கு அரியர்ஸ் பணம் ஆயிரத்துக்கு மேலே வந்திருக்கு… ஆபீஸிலே இன்னிக்கு நீங்க வரலேன்னா பணத்தைத் திருப்பி அனுப்பச் சொல்லி உத்தரவு. என்ன செய்யறதுன்னே தெரியாம தவிச்சுண்டு இருந்தேன்…. பின்னாலே பணத்தை வாங்கறது மிகவும் சிரமமா இருக்கும்”.

பிரதோஷம் மாமா உண்மையில் திணறித்தான் போனார். அந்தக் கால கட்டத்தில் இந்தப் பணம் எவ்வளவு பெரியது? இதைத் தன்னிடம் சேர்க்க திருவாசக புத்தகத்தின் மூலம் மஹான் திருவிளையாடல் நடத்தியிருக்கிறார் என்றே தோன்றியது.

பிரதோஷம் மாமா, புத்தகம் எப்போது வெளியிடப்பட்டது என்பதைப் பலரிடம் விசாரித்துக் கொண்டு காஞ்சி வந்து, மஹானிடம் விவரங்களைச் சொன்னார். அதை மஹான் காதில் வாங்கியதாகவே தெரியவில்லை. தன்னை எதற்காக சென்னைக்கு அனுப்பினார் என்று மஹானுக்குத் தெரியாதா என்ன?

திருவாசகம் புத்தகத்தை அவரிடம் கொடுத்து “இதைப் படி” என்றார் மஹான்.

முதலில் எதைப் படிப்பது என்று இவர் தடுமாற “முதல்லேயிருந்து சில பக்கங்களையாவது படி” என்றார்.

அவர் புத்தகத்தைப் பிரித்தபோதே பிரமிப்பு….

“நமச்சிவாய வாழ்க” என்று தொடங்கும் சிவபுராணம் தான் முதலில் தென்பட்டது.

இப்படி பிரதோஷ மாமாவை நாயன்மாராக அங்கீகரித்தருளி “தந்தது உன் தன்னை கொண்டது என் தன்னை” என்று பக்தருக்குள்ளே ஐக்கியமாகி ஒவ்வொரு பக்தி நெறிக்கும் வழிகாட்டுபவராக ஸ்ரீமஹா பெரியவா பிரதோஷம் மாமாவுக்கு அருள் புரிந்தார்.

Message For the Day…” You Must avoid bad company and Cultivate the company of Good…”

Bear in mind the company you keep. The great saint-poet Kabir once said, “I salute the bad and also the good”. Kabir was asked, “We understand you offering salutations to the good, but why do you salute the bad?” He responded, “When I salute the bad, I am doing this with a prayer to remove themselves from my presence; I am saluting the good, requesting their presence before me.” This is a profound statement. You must avoid bad company and cultivate the company of good. When you join with good people, you will be happy and you will confer happiness upon others. Strive to get rid of all your bad thoughts. Give up all your negative traits. Discharge your obligations to your parents. Render selfless service to the community. Redeem your lives by earning the Grace of the Lord. This is My blessing to all of you.

The path to God is difficult, but you can win. Let God do whatever He wants. Surrender to Him and say, “I brought nothing with me! Whatever You have given me, I offer it back to You.” You may think your parents gave you the body. Who put life into your body? Who makes your heart tick incessantly? You may feed the body with tasty food but who digests all the food you eat? Who is the driving force behind the circulation of blood? God Himself regulates every single act within every living being. The eye that is not even an inch long can clearly perceive the stars, far away in the sky. Who gave this little eye, this big strength and power? God alone has conferred and is conferring everything upon you. With your little ego, you are confused that you are the doer. This is the greatest ignorance. Whatever He gives, accept it, it is for your highest good

Undertake any work and perform it such that there is no untruth, unfairness or evil motive in the way you execute it. See to it that the work you do, not only enables you to earn a living, but also benefits the nation and the community you live in. Everyone must observe this purity in their lives. If you thus engage yourselves in right action, you will not be bound by the consequences of action (Karma). You are who you are, based on the past Karmas. Through your present actions you can ensure freedom from birth. Through love, develop faith and earnestness. Through faith and earnestness, you acquire knowledge, and from knowledge you develop Sadhana (spiritual practices) through which you achieve your goal. Hence to strengthen your Sadhana, all these – wisdom, earnestness, faith and love – are quintessential. Love is the most powerful means to acquire control over your senses.

Message For the Day…” Lord Krishna is Everything to us … “

Lord Krishna’s friend Uddhava, was adept in the Path of Knowledge. He approached Krishna so that he can teach it to the cowherds. Krishna smiled and said, “Devotion and purity are fundamental to Gopikas – they are in Me, I am always enshrined in their hearts, you may not understand it!” Uddhava wasn’t convinced, so Lord Krishna sent him to Gokul. Uddhava said to them, “Let me teach you the path of wisdom to realize the Divine”. The Gopikas admonished Uddhava, “We don’t want to waste time on Yogas and Scriptures. Krishna is everything to us, give us one simple means.” Confused, Uddhava, now asked the Gopikas, “How would you become one with Krishna?” The innocent Gopikas responded, “If Krishna were a flower, I would be a bee whirling around Him. If Krishna were the mountain, I will become a river. If He is the deep ocean, I will be a small stream, joining Him”. Uddhava then understood that Gopikas always tuned themselves to adore the Lord, anywhere and everywhere.

நினைத்த வாழ்க்கையா… கிடைத்த வாழ்க்கையா…

நினைத்த வாழ்க்கை கிடைத்தால் சந்தோஷமா… கிடைத்த வாழ்க்கையில் மகிழ்வதில் சந்தோஷமா. நிச்சயம் இது ஒரு மில்லியன் டாலர் கேள்வி தான். சிந்திக்க துவங்கும் காலம் தொட்டு சாகும் நாள் வரை மனதை அரித்து கொண்டே இருக்கின்ற கேள்வி இது தான். இந்த கேள்வி இல்லாமல் வாழ்ந்தவர்கள், வாழ்கிறவர்கள் அல்லது வாழ போகிறவர்கள் சொற்பம் தான்.

படித்து கொண்டிருக்கும் காலத்தில் துவங்குகிறது – இந்த ஏக்க பெருமூச்சு. “நினைச்ச கோர்ஸ் கிடைக்கல. அதனால் கிடைச்ச கோர்ஸ்ல சேர்ந்து படிக்கிறேன்” என்பது தான் மனதளவில் மலரும் முதல் சமரச முயற்சி. பிறகு வேலை வாய்ப்பின் போதும் இது தொடர்கிறது. “படித்த படிப்புக்கு வேலை கிடைக்கல. அதனால கிடைச்ச வேலைல செட்டிலாயிட்டேன்” என்று
இரண்டாவது முறையாக சமரச வாழ்க்கைக்கு, மனதளவில் உடன் படுகிறோம். அடுத்து இருக்கவே இருக்கிறது – காதலும், மண வாழ்க்கையும். அங்கேயும் நினைத்தது கிடைக்கிறதா.“விரும்பினவங்க கிடைக்கல. அதனால் கிடைச்சவங்கள விரும்ப பழகிகிட்டேன்”…

ஏமாற்றங்கள் பழகி விடுவதால், பிறகு வரும் ஏமாற்றங்களுக்கு மனம் வருந்துவதில்லை என்று தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். ஒரு வேளை வருந்தினால், நாம் வாழ்வில் அடுத்த அடி கூட எடுத்து வைக்க இயலாது. இரண்டு பேர் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஒருவருக்குநினைத்ததெல்லாம் வாழ்க்கையாக அமைகிறது. இன்னொருவருக்கு கிடைத்தது தான் வாழ்க்கையாகிறது. இருவரில் யார் சந்தோஷமாக இருப்பது. சந்தோஷமாக இருத்தல் என்பது தானே எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் உச்சக்கட்டம்.

நினைத்த வாழ்க்கை கிடைத்தும் மகிழ்ச்சியற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். விருப்பமில்லாத ஒன்றை கூட விருப்பத்திற்குரியதாக மாற்றி, வாழ்வை சந்தோஷமயமானதாக மாற்றுபவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். அப்படி என்றால் மகிழ்ச்சி எங்கே உள்ளது. மனதில் தவிர வேறு எங்கு இருக்க முடியும். “நான் நினைச்சது கிடைக்கலயே, நான் நினைச்சது கிடைக்கலயே” என்று சொல்லி சொல்லியே கிடைத்த அற்புதமான வாழ்க்கையை தொலைத்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் நிறைய பேர். 

நினைத்தது கிடைக்காதவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை இப்படி என்றால்- நினைத்ததை அடைந்தவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை இப்படி உள்ளது. நினைத்த வாழ்க்கை கிடைத்தும் அதை போற்றி வாழ தெரியாமல்,கிடைத்ததை குற்றம் சொல்லி- “இதற்காக தானே ஆசை பட்டாய்” என்று விசனப்படுபவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். முன்பு பிரபலமாக இருந்த நடிகர் அவர். கல்லூரியில் படித்த நாள் முதல் காதலித்த பெண்ணை மணந்து கொண்டார். கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒன்பது ஆண்டுகள் காதலித்தார்களாம். ஆனால் மணவாழ்க்கையின் ஆயுள் ஒன்பது வருடங்கள் கூட இல்லை. நினைத்ததை அடைந்தும், முழுமையாக வாழ முடியவில்லை.

அப்படி எனில், நாம் தேடும் ஆனந்தம்- நினைத்த வாழ்க்கையிலா… கிடைத்த வாழ்க்கையிலா…”, இதற்கு பதில் என்ன. பெரும்பாலோர் – ஆசைகள், கனவுகள், தேடல்கள் என்று பேசி பேசி நம் பலவீனங்களை, தோல்விகளை மறைக்க விரும்புவதாகவே தோன்றுகிறது. “எதுக்கு இத்தனை அரியர்ஸ்” என்று கேட்டால் – “நான் விரும்பின கோர்ஸ்  கிடைக்கல. எப்படி இத படிக்க முடியும்” என்று தன் தோல்விக்கு காரணம் சொல்பவர்களை என்ன சொல்ல முடியும்.

வேலைக்கு சரியாக செல்லாத ஒரு மனிதரிடம் “ஏன் வேலைக்கு ஒழுங்கா போக மாட்டீங்கறிங்க” என்று கேட்கும் போது, “நா விரும்பின வேலை கிடைக்கல. அதனால் எந்த வேலைக்கும் போகல” என்று பதில் வந்தால் என்ன செய்வது. 

நினைத்தது கிடைக்காத வாழ்க்கை சூன்யம் என்று நாமாக கற்பித்து கொள்கிறோம். அதையும் பெரிது படுத்தி, பெரிது படுத்தி பேசுகிறோம். நம் மீது ஒரு பரிதாப உணர்ச்சி ஏற்பட கூட இப்படி பேசுகிறோமோ. “எனக்கு தான் நினைச்ச வாழ்க்கை கிடைக்கல. உனக்காவது நினைச்ச வாழ்க்கை கிடைக்கட்டும்”
என்கிற ரீதியில் பேசுவது. இது குழந்தைகளை அல்லது வளர் பருவத்தினரை திசை மாறி போக ஒரு வழி அமைத்து கொடுப்பது போலவே உள்ளது.

“என் இஷ்டத்துக்கு என்னை இருக்க விடுங்க. அப்ப தான் நா நினைச்சதை அடைய முடியும்” என்று பேச துவங்கிவிட்ட குழந்தைகளை பார்க்கிறோம். நினைத்த வாழ்க்கை கிடைப்பதற்கு – அடிப்படையில் ஒரு தகுதி இருப்பதை யாரும் மறந்து விடக்கூடாது. அந்த தகுதி குறித்து மறந்தவர்களே, நினைத்தது கிடைக்கவில்லைஎன்று அரற்றுபவர்கள். அந்த தகுதி இல்லாமல், நினைத்து கிடைக்கவில்லை என்று வெதும்புவதில் என்ன உள்ளது. இந்த தகுதிக்கான அர்த்தங்கள், இடத்துக்கு இடம் மாறுபடலாம்.

வாழ்க்கையை முழுமையாக அறிந்தவர்கள், நினைத்தது, விரும்பியது கிடைக்காமல் போனால் வருந்த மாட்டார்கள். ஒரு சந்தோஷமான நாள் முடிந்து விட்டது என்பதற்காக வருந்த முடியுமா. இன்னொரு சந்தோஷமான நாள் வராமலா போகும். ஒரு புகை வண்டி பயணத்தின் போது, நமக்கு பிடித்த ஒரு நகரம் கடந்து போய்விட்டது என்பதற்காக வருந்துவோமா.

விரும்பியது பிடிக்காமல் போகலாம். பிடிக்காதது விருப்பப்பட கூடியதாக மாறலாம். இந்த உண்மை மனதால் உணரப்பட்டால் துன்பமும் இல்லை. சஞ்சலமும் இல்லை.

” இவர் சிவப் பழம் …இவருக்கு நெறைய பழம் கொடு …”

ஒரு வைதிகர், எளிய வாழ்க்கை, போதுமென்ற
மனமே பொன் செய்யும் மருந்து.

கோயில் திருப்பணிகளில் மிகவும் ஆர்வம்.
தன் கிராமத்திலுள்ள பிள்ளையார் கோயில்,
மாரியம்மன் கோயில்,சிவன் கோயில்
எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் அரும்பாடுபட்டுத்
திருப்பணிகள் செய்தார்.

பெரிய தொகை நன்கொடை கொடுப்பவர்கள் கூட
அவரிடமிருந்து ரசீது எதிர்பார்க்கமாட்டார்கள்.
அவ்வளவு சுத்தம். அவருடைய சேவையை அண்டை
கிராமத்தார்களும் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டார்கள்.

ஒரு வயற்காட்டில் ஒரு பெரிய சிவலிங்கம்
தன்னந்தனியாக வெயிலில் காய்ந்து, குளிரில்
நடுங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். இந்த வைதிகர்
முயற்சியால் இப்போது அவர் (சிவலிங்கம்)
மழை-காற்றுக்கு அஞ்சாமல்,கருவறையில்
கோயில் கொண்டுள்ளார்.

இப்படி எத்தனையோ கோயில்கள்.

ஆனால்,வைதிகர் எந்தக் கும்பாபிஷேகத்திலும்
தன்னை முன்னிலைப்படுத்திக் கொண்டதில்லை.
கூட்டத்தில் ஒரு மூலையில் ஒண்டிக்கொண்டு நிற்பார்!

தம்பட்டமே இல்லாத இவரைப் பற்றிப்
பெரியவாளுக்கு தெரிந்திருந்தது.

‘எப்படி?’ என்றெல்லாம் கேட்கக்கூடாது.
அது சிவரகசியம்!

அவர் வழி அப்பர் வழி, ஆமாம். Upper வழி.

உழவாரப் பணி, கோபுரங்களில் வேலை,நாலைந்து
பையன்களை உடன் வைத்துக்கொண்டு
சந்தடி இல்லாமல் சிவத்தொண்டு செய்வார்.

ஒருதடவை பெரியவாள் தரிசனத்துக்கு வந்தார்.
பெரியவாளை வந்தனம் செய்துவிட்டு ஓரமாக
நின்றார். வழக்கமான ஊர்-பேர் விசாரணைகூடச்
செய்யவில்லை பெரியவாள்.

அந்தச் சமயத்தில் பரம பக்தர்களான பணக்காரத்
தம்பதிகள் வந்து வந்தனம் செய்துவிட்டு எழுந்தார்கள்.

பெரியவாள், தொண்டருக்கு என்ன குறிப்பு
கொடுத்தாரோ, தெரியாது.விலையுயர்ந்த
ஒரு சால்வையைக் கொண்டுவந்து தட்டில்
வைத்தார் ஓர் அணுக்கத் தொண்டர்.பெரியவாள்,
அந்தப் பணக்காரப் பக்தரை அழைத்து, அந்தச்
சால்வையை, வைதிக பக்தருக்குப் போர்த்தச்
சொன்னார்கள்.

எல்லோருக்குமே வியப்பாக இருந்தது.

இந்த வைதிகர் என்ன, அவ்வளவு பெரிய
பண்டிதரா? யாகம் செய்தவரா..?

பெரியவா பணக்காரரிடம் சொன்னார்கள்.

“இவரைப் பார்த்திருக்கிறாயோ?”

“இல்லை”

“இவர் அட்ரஸ் தெரியுமோ?”

“தெரியாது”

“எனக்குத் தெரியும்! சொல்லட்டுமா?”
(என்ன குறும்பு!)

“சாஸ்திரிகள் கேர் ஆஃப் சிவன் கோயில்!
இவர் பெரிய Builder.என்ன? பல சிவன்களுக்கு
வீடு கட்டிக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்…!”

பக்தர்கள் கூட்டம் நெகிழ்ந்து உருகியது.
ஒரு பத்திரிகையில்கூட இவர் புகைப்படத்தைப்
பார்த்ததில்லையே…

“இவர் சிவப்பழம்…பிரசாதத்தோட நெறய்ய
பழங்கள் கொடு…”

அறிமுகமே இல்லாத இவர், தூய சிவப்பணியாளர்
என்பது பெரியவாளுக்கு எப்படித் தெரிந்தது?.

அது எந்தவகை ஸித்தி?
ஆயிரம் கன்றுக்குட்டிகள் நடுவில் ஒரு தாய்ப்பசு
