வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி …ஒரு பார்வை ….

மார்கழி மாதத்தில் வரும் வளர்பிறை பதினோராம் நாள் இந்துக்களால் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி எனக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இது கிரெகொரியின் நாட்காட்டியில் திசம்பர்-சனவரி மாதங்களில் வரும். வைணவர்கள் தாம் வழிபடும் திருமாலின் இருப்பிடமாகக் கருதும் வைகுண்டத்தின் கதவுகள் இன்று திறக்கப்படுவதாக நம்புகின்றனர். இந்நாளின் முன்னிரவில் உறங்காது இருந்து திருமாலின் புகழ்பாடி கோவில் செல்வர். விடிகாலையில் பெருமாள் கோவில்களில் பொதுவாக வடக்குதிசையில் என்றும் மூடப்பட்டிருந்து இன்று மட்டுமே திறக்கும் “சொர்க்க வாயில்” என்றழைக்கப்படும் வாயில்வழியே சென்று இறைவனை வழிபடுவர்.

திருவரங்கம் கோவிலில் இந்நாளின் முந்தைய பத்து நாட்களில் “இராப்பத்து” என்றும் பிந்தைய பத்து நாட்களில் “பகல்பத்து” என்றும் சிறப்பாக விழா நடத்தப்படுகிறது…

இந்துக்கள் ஒவ்வொரு ஏகாதசி நாளிலும் உண்ணாநோன்பிருந்து இறைவனை வழிபடுவதால் தங்களின் பாவச்செயல்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு சங்கடங்கள் தீரும் என நம்புகின்றனர். விஷ்ணுபுராணம் என்ற நாலில் அனைத்து ஏகாதசி நாட்களிலும் உண்ணாநோன்பு இருந்து பெறும் பயனை வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி அன்று இருக்கும் ஒருநாள் விரதத்தால் பெறலாம் எனக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.[1]. இதனால் இந்நாள் சிறப்பினைப் பெறுகிறது.

புராண நூலின்படி திருமால் தனது எதிரிகளாகவிருந்த இரு அரக்கர்களுக்கு இந்நாளன்று வைகுண்டத்தின் கதவுகளைத் திறந்ததாகவும் , இக்கதையைக் கேள்விப்பட்டு இவ்வாயில் வழியே பெருமாளின் திருவுரு வெளியே உலா வரும்போது தரிசிப்பவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் தாம் பெற்ற நிலை கிடைக்கவேண்டும் என அவர்கள் வரம் வேண்டியதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது.

மகாபாரதத்தில் குருச்சேத்திரப் போரின் துவக்கத்தில் கிருட்டிணன் அருச்சுனனுக்குஇந்த நாளில்தான் பகவத் கீதை விளக்கங்களை நிகழ்த்தியதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது………

தமிழ்நாட்டில் அமைந்துள்ள வைணவத்தலங்களில் முதன்மையாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றதிருவரங்கத்தில் உள்ள அரங்கநாத சுவாமி கோவிலில் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி விழா 21 நாட்கள் சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. பகல்பத்து, இராப்பத்து என்று இரு பகுதிகளாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. ஒவ்வொருநாளும் திருமாலின் திருவுரு வெவ்வேறு அலங்காரங்களில் வெவ்வேறு வாகனங்களில் உலா வருகிறது. ஏகாதசி நாளன்று இரத்தினங்களால் வேய்ந்த ரத்னாங்கி என அழைக்கப்படும் உடையில் கருவறையிலிருந்து வெளிவந்து ஆயிரங்கால் மண்டபத்தில் வீற்றிருக்க வடக்கு வாயில் (“பரம்பத வாசல்”, சொர்க்க வாசல்” என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது) வழியே உலா வருவதைக் காண பெருந்திரளான பக்தர் கூட்டம் கூடும். இந்த வாயில் இந்த நாளிலே மட்டுமே திறக்கப்படும்….

ஆந்திர மாநிலத்தின் திருப்பதி மலைமீதுள்ள திருமலையிலும் இத்தகைய விழா கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இங்குள்ள சிறப்பு வாயில் “வைகுண்ட துவாரம்” என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி நாளில் மட்டுமே திறக்கப்படும் இவ்வாயில் வழியே சென்று வழிபடுவோர் வீடுபேறு பெறுவர் என நம்பப்படுகிறது.[2] எனவே இத்திருநாளில் பெருந்திரளான பக்தர்களும் உயர்நிலையாளர்களும் திரள்கின்றனர்.

மகாலிங்கஸ்வாமி கோவிலில், செட்டியார் வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த ஓர் அம்மையார் கையில் ஒரு புத்தகத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு நாள்தோறும் பாடி வருவதைப் பெரியவா கவனித்துவிட்டர்கள&

‘அந்த ஆச்சி என்ன பாடிக்கொண்டிருக்க& தெரியுமோ?’

உடன் வந்துக்கொண்டிருந்& பக்தர் ராமமூர்த்தியையும் கைங்கர்யபரர் கண்ணனையும் பார்த்துக் கேட்டார்கள். பெரியவா.

ஒரே குரலில்,‘தெரியாது’ என்று பதில் வந்தது.

‘அந்த ஆச்சி அம்மாள், திருவெம்பாவை படிச்சிண்டிருக்கா – நல்ல ராகத்தோட..’

இரண்டு நிமிஷ நடை.

‘இந்தப் பாடல்களை எல்லோரும் பாட வேண்டும் என்று பிரசாரம் செய்தால், யாரவது பாடுவார்களா ?..’

‘ஒருவரும் பாட மாட்டார்கள். இது, யாருக்குத் தெரியும் ?..’

பெரியவாள் சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்ந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் மனத்திரையில் மணிவாசகரும் ஆண்டாளும் காட்சி தந்தார்கள் போலும் !

அற்புதமான பாடல்கள், அறைக்குள்ளேயே கிடக்கின்றன, அரங்கத்துக்கு வந்தால் லோகோபகாரமாக இருக்குமே ?..

‘ராமமூர்த்தி.. திருப்பாவை — திருவெம்பாவை மகாநாடு நடத்தணும்; ஏற்பாடு செய் ..’

அவ்வாறே ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. தமிழ்நாட்டின் முன்னணிப் பாடகர்கள், சொற்பொழிவாளர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டார்கள், ஏகப்பட்ட விளம்பரம்!

திருவெம்பாவை – திருப்பள்ளிஎழுச்ச& #3007; – திருப்பாவை புத்தகங்கள் ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் அச்சிடப்பட்டு இலவசமாக விநியோகிக்கப்பட்ட& #2985;.

பாவைப் பாடல்களின் பண் நயமும் இலக்கிய நயமும் அறிஞர்களால் விளக்கி மொழியப்பட்டன. அவற்றின் பக்தி ரசத்தைச் சுவைத்து மயங்காதவரே இல்லை.

பாவைப் பாடல் இசைத்தட்டுக்கள் அமோகமாக விற்பனை ஆயின.

மார்கழி மாதம் வந்தது.

பெரியவா, வெறும் உபதேசியார் அல்லர். உபதேசங்களை நடத்திக் காட்டுபவர்கள்.

‘மார்கழி விடியற்காலையில் பாவைப் பாடல்களைப் பாட வேண்டும்‘ என்று சொல்லிவிட்டால் மட்டும் போதுமா ?

‘பிரகலாதன்’ என்று ஒரு யானை ஸ்ரீமடத்தில் இருந்தது. ராமமூர்த்தியையும் கண்ணனையும் அதன் மேல் உட்கார்ந்துகொண்டு, கையில் அரிக்கேன் விளக்கு வெளிச்சத்தில், புத்தகத்தைப் பார்த்துப் பாவைப் பாடல்களைப் பாடிக்கொண்டு, திருவிடைமருதூர் மகாலிங்கசுவாமி கோவிலின் நான்கு வீதிகளிலும் பவனி வரச் செய்தார்கள்.

அப்புறம் கேட்பானேன்!

தமிழ்நாட்டின் மூலை முடுக்குகளிலெல்லா& பாவை வெள்ளம் பாய்ந்தது; பக்திப் பயிர் வளர்ந்தது; நாயன்மார் – ஆழ்வார் பக்கம் மக்கள் பார்வை திரும்பியது. தமிழ் பக்தி இலக்கியத்துக்கு அடித்தது யோகம்!

ஓரிரு ஆண்டுகள் சென்றன.

ராமமூர்த்தியையுமĮ 1; கண்ணனையும் அழைத்தார்கள், பெரியவாள்.

‘ஞாபகம் இருக்கா? — திருவெம்பாவை யாருக்குத் தெரியும்? அதை யாரும் பாடமாட்டா – ன்னு சொன்னேளே? — இப்போ யாரவது பாடராளா?…’

இது, பெரியவாள் கொடுத்த குட்டு இல்லை; அன்புடன் வழங்கிய ஷொட்டு!

ஆழி மழைக்கண்ணா! ஒன்று நீ கைகரவேல்
ஆழியுள் புக்கு முகந்துகொடு ஆர்த்தேறி
ஊழி முதல்வன் உருவம்போல் மெய்கறுத்து
பாழியந் தோளுடைப் பற்பநா பன்கையில்
ஆழிபோல் மின்னி வலம்புரிபோல் நின்றதிர்ந்து
தாழாதே சார்ங்கம் உதைத்த சரமழைபோல்
வாழ உலகினில் பெய்திடாய் நாங்களும்
மார்கழி நீராட மகிழ்ந்தேலோர் எம்பாவாய்.

பொருள்: மேகத்திற்கு அதிபதியான பர்ஜந்யனே! நாங்கள் சொல்வதைக் கேள். உன்னிடம் ஒரு சொட்டு தண்ணீரைக் கூட வைத்துக் கொள்ளாதே. கடல் நீர் முழுவதையும் முகர்ந்து கொண்டு மேலே சென்று, உலகாளும் முதல்வனாகிய கண்ணனின் நிறம் போல் கருத்து, வலிமையான தோள்களையுடைய பத்மநாபனின் கையிலுள்ள பிரகாசமான சக்கரத்தைப் போல் மின்னலை வீசி, வலம்புரி சங்கு ஒலிப்பது போல் இடி ஒலியெழுப்பி, வெற்றியை மட்டுமே ஈட்டும் அவனது சார்ங்கம் என்னும் வில்லில் இருந்து புறப்படும் அம்புகளைப் போல் மழை பொழிவாயாக! அம்மழையால் நாங்கள் இவ்வுலகில் மகிழ்வுடன் வாழ்வோம். மார்கழி நீராடலுக்காக எல்லா நீர்நிலைகளையும் நிரப்பி எங்களை மகிழ்ச்சியடையச் செய்வாயாக.

விளக்கம்: ஆயர் குல சிறுமிகள் மழை, வெயிலுக்குரிய தெய்வங்கள் இன்னதென அறியமாட்டார்கள். ஏனெனில், அவர்களிடம் கல்வியறிவு இல்லை. எனவே பொதுவாக, “ஆழிமழைக் கண்ணா என்று அழைக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு தோற்றத்துக்கு இவர்கள் கண்ணனையே அழைத்தார்களோ என்று எண்ணத்தோன்றும். இது, நாம் சாதாரணமாக ஒரு குழந்தையை அழைக்க பயன்படுத்தும் “கண்ணா என்ற வார்த்தையைப் போல! எனவே “பர்ஜந்யா என்பதற்குப் பதிலாக “கண்ணா என்றழைத்தார்கள். அவனும் வந்தான். அவனிடம் தங்கள் கோரிக்கையை வைத்தார்கள்.

கவலை கல்லு போல..பகவான் தெப்பம் மாதிரி…மகாபெரிவா சொன்னது !!!!

ஒரு முறை பெரிவாளிடம் ஒரு அம்மா சொன்னார். நான் நெறைய ஸ்ல ோகம் பாராயணம் பண்றேன்.மத்யானம் சாப்பிடவே ஒரு மணியாறது. ஆனா பிரச்சினைகள் தீரலே…பகவான் கண் பார்க்கலேன்னு வருத்தப்பட்டார்.

“ஸ்லோகம் சொல்றச்சே சுவாமி முன்னாடி உட்கார்ந்துண்டு, சுவாமியை மனசிலே நிறுத்திண்டுதானே பாராயணம் பண்றேள்”னு கேட்டேன்.

“அதெப்படி முடியும்? குளிச்சிண்டே,வேற வெலை பார்த்துண்டே தான் சொல்றேன்.எல்லாம் மனப்பாடம்.தப்பு வராது”ன்னா.

காய் நறுக்கணும்னா அரிவாள்மணை,கத்தியைக் கிட்டே வைச்சுக்கறோம். சமைக்கணும்னா அடுப்பு கிட்டே போகணும்.

குளிக்கணும், துவைக்கணும்னா தண்ணீர் பக்கத்திலே போறோம். ஸ்கூட்டர், கார் எதுவானாலும் கிட்ட இருந்து ஓட்டினா தான் ஓடறது.

ஆனா ஸ்லோகம் சொல்லணும்னா மனசு சுவாமிகிட்டே போக வேண்டாமா? “ஸர்வாந்தர்யாமி” தான் அவன். ஆனாலும் பிரச்சினை பெரிசுன்னா பக்கத்துல உட்கார்ந்து அனுசரணையா சிரத்தையா
சொல்லுங்கோ… நிச்சயம் கேட்பான்.

வேறு வேலையில் கவனம் இல்லாமிலிருந்தால் விபத்து நடக்கும். ஆனா பகவான் ஞாபகம் இல்லாம ஸ்லோக மந்திரத்தை முணு முணுத்தா போறும்னு நெனைக்கலாமா?

புதுப் பூவைப் பார்த்தா பகவானுக்குத் தரணும்னு ஆசை வரணும். தளதளன்னு இருக்கிற சந்தனத்தை பகவானுக்கு பூசிப் பார்க்கணும்னு நெனைப்பு வரணும்.இந்தப் புடவையிலே அம்பாள் எப்படி
இருப்பாள்னு நெனைச்சு தியானம் பண்ணினாலேகருணை செய்கிறவாளாச்சே!

கல்லைத் தூக்கி சமுத்திரத்திலே போட்டா மூழ்கிடும். ஆனா மரத்தாலே கப்பல் பண்ணி, அதிலே எத்தனை கல் ஏத்தினாலும் மூழ்கிறதில்லே!

கவலைகள் கல்லு மாதிரி,பகவான் தெப்பம் மாதிரி, மனசு என்கிற சமுத்திரத்திலே பகவானைத் தெப்பமாக்கணும். தெய்வத்தை இணைக்கிற ஆணிகள் தான் பூஜை மந்திரங்கள் எல்லாம்.
அப்புறம் கவலைகளைத் தூக்கி தெப்பத்தில் இறக்கலாம். சம்சாரசாகரத்தில் மூழ்கடிக்கப்படாமல் கரை சேர்ந்து விடலாம்.
