காஞ்சி மஹான் சதாராவில் முகாமிட்டிருந்த சமயம்.

கோடீஸ்வரரும் தொழிலதிபருமான பிர்லா அவரைத் தரிசிக்க வந்தார். பம்பாயில் பாரதீய வித்யா பவனைக் கட்டிக் காத்து வந்து பக்திமான் அவர்! அவர் வந்திருக்கிறார் என்பதால் மஹான் தங்கியிருந்த இடத்தில் எந்த விதமான பரபரப்பும் ஏற்படவில்லை. சாதாரண பக்தர்களுக்கு எப்படி தரிசனம் கிடைத்ததோ, அதைப் போலவே திரு ஜி.டி. பிர்லாவும் ஜன்னலுக்குப் பின்னால் அமர்ந்திருந்த மஹானைத் தரிசித்தார்!

எப்போதுமே பிர்லா எந்தக் கோயிலுக்கோ அல்லது புண்ணிய க்ஷேத்திரங்களுக்க& #3019; போனால் நிறைய நன்கொடை தருவது வழக்கம். வெளியே போகும்போது செக் புத்தகத்தை உடன் எடுத்துச் செல்வார். மஹான் ஏதாவது நன்கொடை கேட்பார் என்று அவர் நினைத்து விட்டார்.

அவர் அங்கிருந்து நகரும் வரை மஹான் வாயைத் திறக்கவில்லை.

பொறுக்க முடியாமல் பிர்லாவே கேட்டுவிட்டார்.

”நான் உங்களுக்கு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?”

இதற்கு மஹான் சொன்ன பதில் பிர்லாவை பிரமிக்க வைத்துவிட்டது.

”நீ இப்போ செய்யற தொண்டையே விடாமல் செஞ்சுண்டிருந்தா போதும். நீயும் உன் குடும்பமும் க்ஷேமமாய் இருப்பீர்கள்!” என்று முடித்துவிட்டார்!

அத்துடன் பிர்லாவை சகல மரியாதைகளுடன் அனுப்பி வைக்கும்படி மடத்து சிப்பந்திகளுக்கு உத்தரவிட்டார்.

பக்தனின் திரட்டுப்பாலை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட மஹான், கோடீஸ்வரரிடம் தான் கேட்க ஏதுமில்லை என்று சொல்லிவிட்டார் மாமுனிவர்!

They are unwilling to release their hold on the handful of pleasurable things they have grasped from the world. When people do not place faith in the Self, but pursue their senses alone, the danger signal is up! People are stuck with the wrong belief that the accumulation of material possessions will endow them with joy and peace. Divine Love alone can give you everlasting joy. Divine Love alone will remove anger, envy and hatred.

It is the Divine that inspires, activates, leads and fulfils the life of every being, however simple or complex it may be! From the atom to the Universe, every single being is flowing fast to merge in the sea of bliss. Never forget that every one of you is Sath-Chith-Ananda Swarupa (Embodiments of Existence-Consciousness-Bliss) – only you are unaware of it and imagine yourself to be bound to this form and its limitations! This is the myth that should be exploded, so that your Divine Life may begin. Leading a Divine Life consists of practising Truth, Love and Non-injury (Sathya, Prema and Ahimsa). Since all are parts of the same Divine Self, all should be loved as oneself, without fear and falsehood. When all are one, why should we injure another one, who is part of the same Divine Being?

Mahaperiavar Breaking HIS Mouna Viradham For the Sake of Visually Challenged Children!!!

A school for the visually challenged, functions in Poonamalle. A teacher from this school came and had darshan of Maha SwamigaL who was then staying in Sivasthanam. He prayed to SwamigaL, “I am planning to bring the school children next Sunday to have Periyavar’s darshan. Those children have no eyesight. So they can’t have a darshan of PeriyavargaL with their eyes. So PeriyavargaL should talk to them a few words and bless them. I have come to inform this proposal, I want anugraham.” Maha SwamigaL heard his words with his holy ears, that was all to it, and the man went away.

On the morning of the next Sunday, that teacher brought the visually challenged children for Periyavar’s darshan, in a chartered bus, which was parked outside. An assistant of the sage said, “Periyavar observes silence since yesterday.” That was all! There was no limit to the distress of the teacher. He cried openly and slapped his head. A sight that moved the onlookers.

“Alas! These children have no eyesight! They can’t see PeriyavargaL! Only if a few words are spoken they could hear them and be happy. Even if Periyavar does not talk to us, we would have a darshan of him and go away. What would these children do? It was only for these children that I came last week and prayed. Now I have become a maha paavi who has disappointed them!” The teacher sobbed again and again.

An unexpected situation. PeriyavargaL came out from his room and signed to the teacher to stop his wailing. He asked for a wooden plank to be placed near the well and sat on it. His silence dissolved. He called each and every child near him, patiently inquired the name, place and the reason for the loss of vision, and blessed the child. The children had Periyavar’s anugraham for a full hour. He gave a big plate of fruits, raisins and suger lumps to the teacher, asking him to distribute them to the children.

Everyone was immensely pleased with this anugraham. The teacher knew no bounds for his joy. He cried even now. Cried in distress earlier, in joy now.

Even today it overwhelmes the heart with joy to think about the incident when Maha SwamigaL appreciated the needs of the visionless children and dissolved his vow of silence to bless them with words–a silence that he did not give up even for President V.V. Giri or Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Maha SwamigaL is a jnana deepam that never goes off. Let us pray to the flame of light to guide us on our path.

The letter ‘Gu’ in the word Guru signifies Gunatheetha – the one who has transcended the three qualities of Ignorance (Thamasik), Passion (Rajasik) and Virtuousness (Sathvik) and the letter ‘Ru’ signifies the one who is Roopa Varjitha (Beyond the Form). The Guru destroys illusion and sheds light, His Presence is ever cool and comforting. He comes to remind people that they have forgotten that they have lost the most precious part within themselves and yet are unaware of it! He is the Physician for curing the illness which brings about the repetitive suffering from birth to death. He is adept at the treatment needed for the cure. If you have not yet got such a Guru, Pray to the Lord Himself to show the way and He will most certainly come to your rescue!

கனவில் கிடைத்த உத்தரவு

மஹா பெரியவா ஸித்தி அடைந்த பிறகும் அருள் பாலித்த அற்புதமான நிகழ்ச்சி!

மஹா பெரியவாளுடன் காஞ்சியில் தங்கி மஹானின் தேவைகளை மிகவும் சிரத்தையாகவே கவனித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தவர் மேச்சேரி பட்டு சாஸ்திரி. சாஸ்திரி மெத்தப் படித்த வித்வானான தனது வித்வத்தன்மையை வெளிக்காட்ட மாட்டார். அவ்வப்போது மஹான் அவரைப் பல கைங்கர்யங்களுக்கு உபயோகப் படுத்திக் கொள்வதுண்டு. வருடா வருடம் மாம்பலத்திலுள்ள அயோத்தியா மண்டபத்தை மூன்று நான்கு நாட்கள், ஏன் ஒரு வாரமே ஆக்ரமித்து, அங்கே மஹானின் ஜெயந்தியை மிகவும் விமரிசையாகக் கொண்டாடுவார்.

இவருக்கேற்ற மகன் மௌலி. மஹானின் கைங்கர்யத்தில் தந்தை கொஞ்சம் என்றால் மகன் அவருக்கு ஒரு படி மேலே. இதில் என்ன குறை என்றால் இவர்களது ஆசையை நிறைவேற்றிக் கொள்ளும் அளவுக்கு அவர்களிடம் பொருள் வசதி இல்லை. யாரோ சிலர் அவ்வப்போது உதவும் தொகை போதுமானதாக இருக்காது.

வீட்டில் உள்ள பெண்களின் நகை, கடன் என்று பல வகைகளில் பணத்தைச் சேர்த்து மஹானின் ஜெயந்தியை மிகவும் விமர்சையாக நடத்தி வருவார்கள். ஒரு வருடம் சாஸ்திரியாருக்கு ஒர் ஆசை. மஹானின் திருவுருவத்தை சிலையாக வடித்து வைத்துப் பூஜை செய்ய வேண்டும்! அவர் ஏற்கனவே இப்படி இரு சிலைகளை சேலத்தில் பக்தர்கள் வீட்டில் பார்த்திருக்கிறார& #3021;!

மனதில் எண்ணம் தோன்றியவுடன் அதை உடனே செயலாக்கினார். இவருக்கென்று ஸ்வாமிமலையில் ஒரு ஸ்தபதி கிடைத்தார். இருவர் எண்ணங்களும் ஒன்றாகவே, மஹான் சிலையை தத்ரூபமாக உருவாக்கினார். குறித்த காலத்திற்கு முன்பே சிலை வந்து விட்டதால் பட்டு சாஸ்திரி பணத்திற்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்திருக்கவில்லை. ஜெயந்திக்கான செலவு அபரிமிதமாக இருந்தது. சிலையைக் கொண்டு வந்து கொடுத்த ஸ்தபதிக்கு என்ன கஷ்டமோ, “பணத்தைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்டே ஊருக்குப் போகிறேன்” என்று அங்கேயே தங்கி விட்டார்.

சாஸ்திரிகளும் அவரது மகனும் கேட்காத இடம் பாக்கி இல்லை. தொகை என்னவோ வெறும் ஆறாயிரம் ரூபாய் தான். ஏற்கனவே நன்கொடை வழங்கியவர்களை மீண்டும் அணுக முடியாது. புதிதாக யாரும் தர முன் வரவில்லை. இப்படியெல்லாம் சோதனை வருகிறதே என்று தந்தையும் மகனும் கவலைப் பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

இவர்கள் படும் பாடு, எல்லாம் தெரிந்த மஹானுக்குத் தெரியாதா என்ன?

அப்போது கடம் விநாயகராம் அமெரிக்காவிலே இருந்தார். அங்கே அவர் பல கச்சேரிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். குறிப்பிட்ட தினத்தன்று அவரது கனவில் தோன்றிய மஹான், அவரை சென்னையில் உள்ள அவர் மகன் மூலமாக பட்டு சாஸ்திரிக்கு ஆறாயிரம் ரூபாயைக் கொடுக்கும்படி சொன்னார்.

இது கனவு தானே என்று கடம் மாஸ்டர் தொடர்ந்து தூங்க ஆரம்பித்தார். அடுத்த தடவை இவரை யாரோ தொட்டு எழுப்பியது போன்ற உணர்வுகளுடன் அதே கனவு.

இது மஹானின் உத்தரவு தான் என்று புரிந்து கொண்ட கடம் மாஸ்டர், உடனே சென்னையில் இருந்த மகனிடம் தகவல் சொல்லிவிட அன்றே பணம் பட்டு சாஸ்திரியின் கைக்கு வந்துவிட்டது. எப்படிப்பட்ட அற்புதம்!

தன் சிலை செய்த கூலியை மஹானே கொடுத்து உதவியிருக்கிறார். வாய் ஓயாமல் பட்டு சாஸ்திரி இந்த மகத்தான உதவியை அன்று பூராவும் அயோத்தியா மண்டபத்திற்கு வந்தவர்களுக்கெல்ல& #3006;ம் தெரிவித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்தார்.

நாம் நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கிறோம். நம் உதவி பெறுபவர் நம்மை விட தாழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறார், ‘நாம் கருணை காட்டுகின்றோம்’ என்று நினைக்கும்போதே, நாம் செய்யும் – செய்கிற உபகாரம் அசுத்தமாகிவிடுகிற& #2980;ு. உபகாரம் செய்வதன் பலனாக நமக்கு எளிமை, அடக்கம், அஹங்காரம் இல்லாமை ஆகியவை உண்டாக வேண்டும்.

India Puts World”s First Smartphone in Space !!!

India has become the world’s first country to launch a smartphone into space – loaded with a number of experimental ‘Apps’, some serious and some just for fun.
The British-built Strand-1 spacecraft, developed by scientists in Surrey, was sent into orbit from Sriharikota in India to test the capabilities of many standard smartphone
components for a space environment.
Launched into a 785 km Sun-synchronous orbit on Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO’s PSLV launcher on Monday, the spacecraft is an innovative 3U CubeSat weighing 4.3 kg and is the world’s first “phonesat” to go into orbit, as well as the first UK CubeSat to be launched.
Developed by a team from the University of Surrey’s Surrey Space Centre (SSC) and Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL), STRaND-1 is a training and demonstration mission, designed to test commercial off-the-shelf technologies in space.
“STRaND-1 from SSC and SSTL is an example of the real synergy of academic research linked to commercial development and exploitation that is the hallmark of Surrey,” Professor Sir Martin Sweeting, SSC Director and also Executive Chairman of SSTL, said.
“This launch is SSTL’s first with ISRO, and I am looking forward to exploring opportunities for further launches and a wider collaboration on space projects in the future,” Martin said in a statement.
During the first phase of the mission, STRaND-1 will be controlled by the satellite’s attitude control system and a new high-speed linux-based CubeSat computer.
During phase two the STRaND-1 team plan to switch many of the satellite’s in-orbit operations to the smartphone, a Google Nexus One which uses the Android operating system, thereby testing the capabilities of many standard smartphone components for a space environment.
The smartphone has also been loaded with a number of experimental “Apps”, some serious and some just for fun.
The Scream in Space app was developed by Cambridge University Space Flight and will make full use of the smartphone’s speakers.
Testing the theory ‘in space no-one can hear you scream, made popular in the 1979 film ‘Alien’, the app will play videos of the best screams while in orbit and screams will be recorded using the smartphone’s own microphone.
