பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங் செல்போன் உரையாடல்களை யாரும் ஒட்டுக் கேட்கவே முடியாது, அவரிடம் செல்போனே இல்லை என்று பிரதமர் அலுவலகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

ஜெர்மனி அதிபர் ஏஞ்சலா மெர்கல் உள்பட உலகத் தலைவர்கள் 35 பேரின் செல்போன் உரையாடல்களை அமெரிக்காவின் தேசிய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு (என்.எஸ்.ஏ.) ஒட்டுக் கேட்டிருப்பதாக நாளிதழ்களில் செய்திகள் வெளியாகி பெரும் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது.

இந்தியாவில் குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு மாதத்தில் மட்டும் இணையதளம் மூலம் 1350 கோடி தகவல்களை என்.எஸ்.ஏ. திருடியிருப்பதாக அண்மை யில் தகவல்கள் வெளியாகின. எனவே பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங்கின் செல் போன் உரையாடல்களும் என்.எஸ்.ஏ. அமைப்பால் ஒட்டு கேட்கப்பட்டிருக் கலாம் என்ற சந்தேகம் எழுந்தது.

இதுகுறித்து பிரதமர் அலுவலத்தில் செய்தியாளர்கள் விளக்கம் கோரிய போது அந்த அலுவலக செய்தித் தொடர்பாளர் ஒருவர் அளித்த பதில்:

பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங்கிடம் செல்போனே கிடையாது. செல் போனை அவர் பயன்படுத்துவதும் இல்லை. எனவே அவரது செல்போன் ஒட்டு கேட்கப்பட்டிருக்குமோ என்ற கவலையே நமக்குத் தேவை யில்லை.

இதேபோல் அவருக்கு இ-மெயில் முகவரியும் கிடையாது. எனவே, இ-மெயில் தகவல் திருட்டுக்கும் வாய்ப்பில்லை. பிரதமர் அலுவலக இ-மெயில் முகவரியை மட்டுமே மன்மோகன் சிங் பயன்படுத்தி வருகிறார் என்றார்.

பொதுவாக சாதுக்களுக்கும் சாமியார்களுக்கும், கடவுள் தான் கனவில் தோன்றுவார். ஆனால் மத்தியபிரதேசத்தின் உன்னாவ் மாவட்டத்தில் இருக்கும் சங்க்ராம்பூர் என்கிற ஊரில் உள்ள சாமியாரான ஷோபன் சர்க்காரின் கனவில் தங்கப்புதையல் வந்தது.

அதுவும் சாதாரண தங்கப்புதையல் அல்ல. பத்து லட்சம் கிலோ தங்கப்புதையல். இந்த தங்கப்புதையல் மட்டும் உண்மையானால் ஏறக்குறைய இந்தியா அடுத்த 12 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு தங்கமே இறக்குமதி செய்யவேண்டிய தேவையிருக்காது. அவ்வளவு தங்கம் அங்கே புதையுண்டு இருப்பதாக கூறுகிறார் ஷோபன் சர்க்கார்.

அந்த ஊரில் பத்தொன்பதாம் நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்த ராஜா ராம்பக்ஷ் சிங் என்கிற மன்னரின் பாழடைந்த அரண்மனை இடிபாடுகள் இருக்கின்றன. அந்த இடிபாடுகளுக்கு அடியில் தான் இந்த தங்கம் புதையுண்டு இருப்பதாக கூறுகிறார் ஷோபன் சர்க்கார்.

வடநாட்டு வீரப்பாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மன்?

இந்த ராஜா ராம்பக்ஷ் சிங் கொல்லப்பட்ட சம்பவம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் வீரப்பாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மனின் கதையை ஒத்து இருக்கிறது. வீரப்பாண்டிய கட்டபொம்முவைப் போல ராஜாராம்பக்ஷ் சிங்கும் பிரிட்டிஷ் அரசை எதிர்த்திருக்கிறார். இவரது படைகளுக்கும் பிரிட்டிஷ் படைகளுக்கும் இடையிலான மோதலின் இறுதியில் ராஜாவின் படைகள் தோற்று, பிரிட்டிஷ் படைகள் வென்றதாகவும், சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்ட ராஜா தூக்கிலிடப்பட்டதோடு, அவரது அரண்மனை பீரங்கியால் வெடிவைத்து தகர்க்கப்பட்டதாகவும், பதிவுகள் இருக்கின்றன. இது நடந்தது 1857 ஆம் ஆண்டு.

அப்படி பிரிட்டிஷாரால் இடித்து தரைமட்டமாக்கப்பட்ட ராஜா ராம்பக்ஷ் சிங்கின் பாழடைந்த அரண்மனையின் இடிபாடுகளுக்கு அடியில்தான் பத்துலட்சம் கிலோ தங்கம் புதையுண்டு இருப்பதாகக் கூறுகிறார் சாது ஷோபன் சர்க்கார். இந்த தங்கத்திற்கு காவலாக ராஜா ராம்பக்ஷ் சிங்கின் ஆவி அங்கே உலவுவதாகவும் அவர் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.

இந்த தங்கத்தை உடனடியாக அரசாங்கம் தோண்டி எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அதன் மூலம் அங்கே அலையும் மன்னர் ராஜா ராம்பக்ஷ்சிங்கின் ஆவிக்கு விடுதலையளிக்கவேண்டும் என்றும் ஷோபன் சர்க்கார் மத்தியப் பிரதேச அரசுக்கும் இந்திய நடுவணரசுக்கும் கடிதம் மூலம் வேண்டுகோள் வைத்தார்.

மத்தியப் பிரதேச அரசு இதை பெரிதுபடுத்தவில்லை என்றாலும், மத்திய அரசில் அமைச்சராக இருக்கும் சரண்தாஸ் மஹந்த், இந்த சாதுவின் கடிதத்தை மதித்து, மத்திய தொல்பொருள் துறைக்கும், இந்திய அரசின் நிலவியல் ஆய்வுக்கழகத்திற்கும் இந்த குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்தில் பரிசோதனைகள் செய்யும்படி உத்தரவிட்டார்.

பலத்த பாதுகாப்புக்கு மத்தியில் நாளை வெள்ளிக்கிழமை இந்த இடத்தில் தொல்லியல் துறை தனது அகழ்வுப்பணிகளை துவங்க இருக்கிறது. அதன் முடிவில் அரண்மனை இடிபாடுகளுக்கு அடியில் இருப்பது, தங்கமா, வெள்ளியா அல்லது வேறு உலோகமா என்பது தெரிந்துவிடும்.

அங்கே மட்டும் தங்கப்புதையல் கிடைத்தால், ஏற்கெனவே தனக்கு அமானுஷ்யமான சக்திகள் இருப்பதாக கூறிவரும் அந்த ஊர் சாமியார் ஷோபன் சர்க்கார், ஒரே நாளில் உலகப்புகழ் பெற்றுவிடுவார்.

மாறாக, அங்கே தங்கம் கிடைக்காவிட்டால், சாமியார் ஷோபன் சர்க்கார் தனது ஆசிரமத்தை வேறு ஊருக்கு மாற்றவேண்டிய சூழல் எழலாம். அவரோடுகூட அரண்மனை இடிபாடுகளில் உலவுவதாக அவர் கூறும் மன்னரின் ஆவியும் அவருடன் சேர்ந்து செல்ல நேரலாம்.

China and India dominate the Forbes 2012 list of 50 best publicly traded companies in Asia-Pacific.

China tops the list with 23 companies in the list. A slowing economy has seen the best companies emerge successful, Forbes said. 15 companies are new in the list this year.

India is ranked second with 11 Indian companies in Forbes 2012 list, up from up from seven last year. The companies were selected from a pool of 1,295 companies that had at least $3 billion in annual revenue or market cap.

உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக சி.நாகப்பன் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாகப் பணியாற்றிய இவர், கடந்த பிப்ரவரி மாதம் ஒடிசா உயர் நீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.

இந்நிலையில், அவர் தற்போது உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இதற்கான உத்தரவை குடியரசுத் தலைவர் பிரணாப் முகர்ஜி திங்கள்கிழமை பிறப்பித்துள்ளார். இம்மாதம் 19-ம் தேதி அவர் உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாகப் பதவியேற்பார் எனத் தெரிகிறது.

உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த பி.சதாசிவம் தற்போது உள்ளார். அதேபோல் நீதிபதி இப்ராஹிம் கலிஃபுல்லா உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக உள்ளார். இந்நிலையில் தற்போது சி.நாகப்பன் உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதன் மூலம், உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில் தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த நீதிபதிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 3 ஆக உயர்கிறது.

வாழ்க்கைக் குறிப்பு:

தொழிலதிபர் மறைந்த வி.என்.சொக்கலிங்கம் – வைரம் தம்பதியினரின் மகனாக 4.10.1951 அன்று கரூரில் நாகப்பன் பிறந்தார். கரூரில் பள்ளிப் படிப்பை முடித்த நாகப்பன், திருச்சி புனித ஜோசப் கல்லூரியில் பி.யு.சி.யும், மதுரை மதுரா கல்லூரியில் பி.எஸ்.சி. வேதியியல் படிப்பையும் முடித்தார். சென்னை சட்டக் கல்லூரியில் சட்டம் பயின்ற அவர், 1974-ம் ஆண்டு பல்கலைக்கழக இறுதித் தேர்வில் மூன்றாமிடம் பெற்றார். சென்னைப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் எம்.எல். கிரிமினல் சட்டப் படிப்பில் முதலிடம் பெற்று தங்கப் பதக்கம் வென்றார்.

இந்திய அரசின் முன்னாள் அட்டர்னி ஜெனரல் கே.பராசரனின் ஜூனியர் வழக்குரைஞராக சேர்ந்த சி.நாகப்பன், சென்னை சட்டக் கல்லூரியில் பகுதி நேர பேராசிரியராக 7 ஆண்டுகள் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.

கடந்த 1987-ம் ஆண்டு மாவட்ட மற்றும் அமர்வு நீதிபதியாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட சி.நாகப்பன், பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களில் நீதிபதியாகப் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். கடந்த 27.9.2000 அன்று சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அவர், இந்த ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 27-ம் தேதி ஒடிசா மாநில உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார். இந்நிலையில் அவர் தற்போது உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

ராஜீவ்காந்தி படுகொலை வழக்கில் குற்றவாளிகள் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள முருகன், சாந்தன், பேரறிவாளன் ஆகியோருக்கு தூக்கு தண்டனையை நிறைவேற்ற இடைக்காலத் தடை விதித்து உத்தரவிட்டது உள்பட முக்கியமான வழக்குகளில் நீதிபதி நாகப்பன் விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

“I don’t make jokes,” said American humourist Will Rogers sometime in 1962. “I just watch the government and report the facts.” As the Indian government watches helplessly at the rupee hurtling down the 60s against the American dollar, Indian netizens seem to have taken a leaf out of Rogers’s book.

A science-lover posted this: It has been announced that the concept of free falling in physics will be explained using the Indian rupee as an example.

A language enthusiast added: Since the rupee is falling, let’s start using it in normal conversations like a verb. Like, “I tripped and rupeed.”

Another one thought the rupee has just become “more down to earth than necessary.”

While the rupee remained the butt of many jokes, the smarter ones couldn’t resist the temptation of linking its fall to the neighbours.

“Pakistan has stopped printing fake 500 INR notes,” said a post on a social network. “Why? Because the overheads of making the notes have increased.”

China wasn’t spared either. “I think the Chinese would leave Arunachal Pradesh alone if they knew how bad the rupee is faring.”

Someone else took a dig at RBI, saying it has replaced the rupee with onion to regain parity with the US dollar.

Another netizen prayed: Dollar on escalator; rupee on ventilator; the nation in ICU;God save India!

Not every one was lamenting— one had this desi solution to save the currency: Make the rupee tie a `rakhi’ to the dollar and say, “Meri raksha karna! Meanwhile, there was this “official
announcement” from Dalal Street that the following terms have been revised:
BSE: Bombay Se Exit,
NSE: Nation Se Exit,
F/O: Future Over,
NIFTY: No Income For This Year,
FII: Fraudulent International Investors,
HNI: Has No Idea,
PMS: Pre Mediated Scam,
SIP: Suicide by Investing Patiently,
EBITDA: Exit Before It Tumbles Down Again.

A journalist, who was fed up with the Indian Economy, decided to ask the views of  an Economist on Sports instead of Indian Economy.
He asked “Dear  Economist….which game do you like”.

Economist Replied  ” Cricket …ofcourse . That too when played in Indian Grounds ….”
Journalist further asked,” which part of Cricket do you like, I mean batting or bowling ?”
Our Economist  friend replied  “No, No, I LIKE THE TOSS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MATCH IN INDIA ”
Journalist was amused and asked “Why, only toss Sir”.
Economist smiled for the first time and told ” BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY TIME WHEN I SEE OUR RUPEE GOING UP”

Journalist  is not amused now …. because  he has found out his way to become an economist rather than a journalist !!!!

Faking News !!! Rupee”s Steep Fall Make Him to Shed Tears !!!

He is always criticized for lack of expressions and emotions on his face. But finally something has hit the untouched nerve and made our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to let his emotions flow.

Sources claim that Dr. Singh was in tears this afternoon after Rupee fell below 64 against US Dollar and Sensex crashed by over 700 points.

“It wasn’t less than a cosmic event. From what I know, he was 4 years old last time he cried. It’s 76 years since then. We can easily draw analogy with visibility of Halley’s Comet from Earth which normally happens in every 75–76 years,” a PMO source told Faking News.

The incident has shaken everyone as experts rushed in to interpret its meaning.

“These kind of emotional outbursts happen with people who are supposed to take care of something but they fail at the task. Remember, Sheila Dikshit was in tears after Delhi gangrape case,” one expert claimed.

However, news organizations were not happy with such simplistic explanations and they asked the experts to link PM’s tears with Narendra Modi. Experts were trying when reports last came in.

The closest someone could reach a political interpretation of the tears was our Faking News correspondent, who termed PM’s tears as a sign of revolt.
