Message For The Day….”You Must Care More for the Cleanliness of Your Mind…”

A thirsty passenger asked the water carrier at an up-country railway station in India whether the leather bag in which they were serving water was clean. The reply the passenger received was, “As regards cleanliness, all I can say is that the bag which contains the water is cleaner than the bag which takes it in!” This statement conveys an important lesson. You must care more for the cleanliness of your mind and intellect than that of the external body. Instead of criticising others and finding fault with the actions of others, subject yourself to vigilant scrutiny. Understand your motives and actions in a deep manner and invest time in correcting your own faults. Do not be like the dancer who blamed the drummer for the wrong steps.

Children Build Castles in the Sand While Elders Are Building castles in Air !!!

sand castle 5

A little girl is on her knees scooping and packing the sand with plastic shovels into a bright blue bucket. Then she upends the bucket on the surface and lifts it. And, to the delight of the little architect, a castle tower is created.

All afternoon she will work. Spooning out the moat. Packing the walls. Bottle tops will be sentries. Popsicle sticks will be bridges. A sandcastle will be built.

man in office

A man is in his office. At his desk he shuffles papers into stacks and delegates assignments. He cradles the phone on his shoulder and punches the keyboard with his fingers. Numbers are juggled and contracts are signed and much to the delight of the man, a profit is made.

All his life he will work. Formulating the plans. Forecasting the future. Annuities will be sentries. Capital gains will be bridges. An empire will be built.

little girl in beach

Two builders of two castles, they have much in common. They shape granules into grandeur. They see nothing and make something. They are diligent and determined. And for both the tide will rise and the end will come.

Yet that is where the similarities cease. For the girl sees the end while the man ignores it, Watch the girl as the dusk approaches.

As the waves near, the wise child jumps to her feet and begins to clap. There is no sorrow. No fear. No regret. She knew this would happen. She is not surprised. And when the great breaker crashes into her castle and her masterpiece is sucked into the sea, she smiles. She smiles, picks up her tools, takes her father’s hand, and goes home.

The grownup, however, is not so wise. As the wave of years collapses on his castle he is terrified. He hovers over the sandy monument to protect it. He blocks the waves from the walls he has made. Salt-water soaked and shivering he snarls at the incoming tide.

“It’s my castle,” he defies.

two-cartoon-men-yelling

The ocean need not respond. Both know to whom the sand belongs… I don’t know much about sandcastles. But children do. Watch them and learn. Go ahead and build, but build with a child’s heart. When the sun sets and the tides take – applaud. Salute the process of life and go home.

” Have You Ever Helped Your Mother ” ?

One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.

The director discovered from his CV that the youth’s academic achievements were excellent. He asked, “Did you obtain any scholarships in school?” the youth answered “no”.

” Was it your father who paid for your school fees?”

“My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.

” Where did your mother work?”

“My mother worked as clothes cleaner.”

The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

” Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?”

“Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, “I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother’s hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.

The youth cleaned his mother’s hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother’s hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother’s hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his education, his school activities and his future.

After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director’s office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth’s eyes, when he asked: “Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?”

The youth answered,” I cleaned my mother’s hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes’

“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family.

The director said, “This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”

“You are hired.”

This young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and worked as a team. The company’s performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an “entitlement mentality” and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent’s efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, they may be successful for a while, but eventually they would not feel a sense of achievement. They will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead?

You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch on a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

Just For Laugh !!!!….True Mother in law !!!!

Two women came before wise King Solomon, dragging between them a young man in a three-piece suit. “This young lawyer agreed to marry my daughter,” said the first one. “No! He agreed to marry MY daughter,” said the other.

And so they haggled before the King until he called for silence.

“Bring me my biggest sword,” said Solomon, “and I shall hew the young attorney in half. Each of you shall receive a half.”

“Sounds good to me,” said the first woman. But the other woman said, “Oh Sire, do not spill innocent blood. Let the other woman’s daughter marry him.”

The wise King did not hesitate a moment. “The attorney must marry the first lady’s daughter,” he proclaimed.

“But she was willing to hew him in two!” exclaimed the King’s court.

“Indeed,” said wise King Solomon. “That shows she is the TRUE mother-in-law.”

Strange But True ….A Stray Dog Steps Into Action Where No Human Would Even Volunteer…

In a heart-rending act of animal kindness, a stray dog steps in where no human would and buries a dead puppy by the side of a road.

Onlookers watched in awe as the mongrel circled and sniffed the lifeless pup after finding it in a ditch where it had been left to rot in the midday sun.

But rather than leave it to scavengers, who would inevitably have torn it limb from limb, she spent more than three minutes gently raking sand over the corpse with her snout with extraordinary care.

But there were no sermons, ceremony or quiet reflection at this impromptu canine burial service… not even a bark.

Once she is happy that the puppy’s body is entirely covered, the black-and-white dog simply turns around and walks silently away.

It was an extraordinary act of respect rarely seen in the animal kingdom and is sure melt hearts across the world

It is unclear whether she was a grieving mother burying one of her litter or just a passing stranger with a caring heart.

Nor is it clear where the moving scene, captured on a bystander’s mobile phone, was filmed but Arabic script on it’s YouTube page suggests it may have been made in the Middle East or the Persian Gulf.

Dogs are known to bury bones and toys to come back for later, but it is rare to see a dog burying another dog

It echoes pictures taken in December of a dog in China standing guard over his dead mate in a busy road where she was mown down by a speeding car.

Those heartbreaking pictures, taken in Zhangzhou, in China’s Fujian Province, show the animal carefully nudging the female dog after she was hit and killed by a car.

After he fails to wake her, the male refuses to leave and stays within feet of his mate for six hours.

The male was seen repeatedly licking the face of dead dog and keeping a watchful eye on her as he dodged the oncoming traffic. But he never strayed more than a short distance from her side.

When he got tired the dog lay down next to her as he kept up his vigil for hours.

“UBUNTU “..I am Happy Because We are Happy !!!

african ubuntu

An anthropologist proposed a game to children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told the children that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits. When he told them to run, they all took each others hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats.

When he asked them why they had run like that when one could have had all the fruits for himself, they said, ‘UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?’ (‘UBUNTU’ in the Xhosa culture means: ‘I am because we are.)”

Message For The Day….”Egoism is Darkness …Surrender Is Light …”

Arjuna’s dejection was a case of finely disguised egoism. He was a hero until he came to the battlefield and became a coward. It was all about ‘I and Mine’; “I will go to hell, I would rather beg, I will not fight my uncle, my Guru, my cousin, etc.” ‘I and mine’ are two poison fangs; they have to be removed to make you harmless. Krishna counselled Arjuna: “You are not killing, so don’t be conceited, they are deathless; the death sentence on their bodies has already been pronounced and you are merely executing God’s will!” Krishna made Arjuna aware of himself and removed his delusions. Arjuna realized that he was but an instrument in the hands of the Lord. You too must learn from that lesson, for otherwise, there will be no end to your misery. Always pray Thamaso maa jyothirgamaya – Lead me from darkness to light. Egoism is darkness (thamas); Surrender (Sharanagathi) is light.

Message For The Day….Humility In Behaviour and Practice counts a Lot ….

The gods once imagined that they were able to get victory over the demons because of their own prowess. When they were celebrating the victory, a deity appeared before them and cast a blade of grass on the ground. It asked Agni (God of fire) to burn it; but he could not. It challenged Vayu (God of Air) to lift it, but he could not. It provoked Varuna (God of Water) to wet it, but, in spite of his best efforts, he could not. Then when their pride had been pricked, the deity taught them the Brahma Vidya (science of Brahman), which reveals the inner source of all strength. This is no ordinary story; Agni is the presiding deity of vaak (speech) and so it tells us that speech has to be humble, that it derives its power only from the basic Universal Principle. Vaayu is prana (the vital air). Humility in behaviour and practice are all that count, especially in Sadhana.

” What To Do When I Someone Insults Me ?” …Listen To What Sai Says ….

Quiz time
Question no. 1
You : SAI MAA, what to do when someone insults me? How should I react? BABA : All you got to do is keep SMILING and thank them.
You : BABA How can I smile when someone insults me? Why should I even thank them?
BABA : Before I answer that, Now tell me how do you clean your dress if it becomes dirty?
You : I will use soap and water and take off that dirt.
BABA : Ah! Exactly, In the same way the one who is Insulting you is also cleaning you. The reason why you and everyone are here is because of Karma. So the one who insults you is taking your karmas, your pains onto him. So
ALWAYS BE PATIENT AND NEVER GET ANGRY EVEN IF SOMEONE INSULTS YOU. I WILL TAKE CARE
You :. Love you SAI MAA

Question no. 2
You : BABA how to control my anger when someone irritates me?
BABA : What is anger?
You : It is a feeling
BABA : What is Affection?
You : It is also a feeling
BABA : Where do I live?
You : Oh SAI MAA you are the Supreme God and you live everywhere
BABA : Can you see me in your mother?
You : Yes SAI MAA
BABA : Can you see me in your Father?
You : Indeed! You are my mother and father SAINATH!
BABA : Can you see me in your Friend?

You : Yes. I do deva
BABA : You said I live everywhere then am I not living in that person who irritates you?
You : But…
BABA : Look my child, NEVER GET ANGRY and always have PATIENCE. Even if someone irritates you just be patient. I WILL TAKE CARE*
BLESSED IS HE WHO SEES ME IN ALL CREATURES
You : Love you SAI MAA

Question no. 3
Nanasaheb asks BABA
Nana: Baba, Who is God? How will He look? Where is He? How can we see Him?
Baba: Oh Nana! God is everywhere. There is no place where He is not. What prevents us from seeing Him is the power of Maya. I, you, this world, all are part of God. Therefore no one should hate another. Never forget that the Lord is everywhere. That will generate Love in you. When love overflows, everything is obtained.

Question no. 4
You : Oh MAA SAI, Why do you have to suffer the pains of others. Why can’t you just destroy the pains of your devotees?
BABA : My child, the answer is Karma. If someone is going through difficult times either health or wealth problems, it’s all because of Karma. When my devotees come to my feet and ask for my help,.
I TAKE THEIR KARMA ONTO MYSELF. No one can destroy karma just like that. So I TAKE MY DEVOTEES PAINS AND SUFFER FOR THEM.

MY HAPPINESS LIES IN MY DEVOTEES HAPPINESS
I don’t want anything in return except for Your Love….

Message For The Day….Develop Divine Love and Truth ….

You are all the indestructible Divine Self, Believe Me! Nothing need discourage you. In dreams you suffer so much – loss of money, fire, food, insult, etc., but you are not affected at all. When these things happen during the waking stage, you feel afflicted. It is not the real you that suffers all that. Give up the delusion that you are this physical entity and you become really free. Develop Truth and Love. Everything will be added to you, unasked. Man and God (Nara and Narayana) are the two wires – the positive and the negative, that combine to bring electricity through. Man (Nara) will become the instrument of God (Narayana), if you have acquired the two qualities, Divine Love and Truth.
