Live in truth, you will then experience Divine Bliss. Faith in God promotes love. Love leads to peace. Peace prepares the way for truth. Where there is faith there is Love, Where there is Love there is Peace, Where there is Peace there is Truth. Where there is Truth there is Bliss, Where there is Bliss there is God. The Divine manifests Himself in many forms and is worshipped as such, for the joy to be derived from it. Truth is one, regardless of nation or religion. The names and forms of human beings may vary, but the Supreme in them (Sath-chith-ananda) does not vary. It is eternal and changeless. Embodiments of Divine Love! Strike down the walls that separate man from man. Get rid of differences based on caste and creed. Develop firm faith in the oneness of Humanity. Cultivate love in your hearts. Then nations will be united, prosperous and happy.

Message For The Day… Remember The God with Love ….

Lord Jesus Christ gave the following example while teaching His fishermen disciples: ‘In a river the water is flowing in a swift current. But the tiny fishes are able to swim in it and move about merrily, despite the speed of the current. In the same river, a huge elephant caught in the rapids, is likely to get washed away or drowned in spite of its enormous size. The elephant just cannot survive there! The reason is: What you need for survival in a river is not being large, but the ability to swim. Likewise a person who is caught up in the ocean of worldly existence needs, not so much metaphysics, scholarship or wealth, as much as the grace of Divine love.’ Without any knowledge of Vedanta, one can still surmount all the problems of life if one is blessed with God’s love. Hence, remember the Lord with Love, worship Him with Love and sanctify your life with Love.

மகாலிங்கஸ்வாமி கோவிலில், செட்டியார் வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்த ஓர் அம்மையார் கையில் ஒரு புத்தகத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு நாள்தோறும் பாடி வருவதைப் பெரியவா கவனித்துவிட்டர்கள&

‘அந்த ஆச்சி என்ன பாடிக்கொண்டிருக்க& தெரியுமோ?’

உடன் வந்துக்கொண்டிருந்& பக்தர் ராமமூர்த்தியையும் கைங்கர்யபரர் கண்ணனையும் பார்த்துக் கேட்டார்கள். பெரியவா.

ஒரே குரலில்,‘தெரியாது’ என்று பதில் வந்தது.

‘அந்த ஆச்சி அம்மாள், திருவெம்பாவை படிச்சிண்டிருக்கா – நல்ல ராகத்தோட..’

இரண்டு நிமிஷ நடை.

‘இந்தப் பாடல்களை எல்லோரும் பாட வேண்டும் என்று பிரசாரம் செய்தால், யாரவது பாடுவார்களா ?..’

‘ஒருவரும் பாட மாட்டார்கள். இது, யாருக்குத் தெரியும் ?..’

பெரியவாள் சிந்தனையில் ஆழ்ந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் மனத்திரையில் மணிவாசகரும் ஆண்டாளும் காட்சி தந்தார்கள் போலும் !

அற்புதமான பாடல்கள், அறைக்குள்ளேயே கிடக்கின்றன, அரங்கத்துக்கு வந்தால் லோகோபகாரமாக இருக்குமே ?..

‘ராமமூர்த்தி.. திருப்பாவை — திருவெம்பாவை மகாநாடு நடத்தணும்; ஏற்பாடு செய் ..’

அவ்வாறே ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. தமிழ்நாட்டின் முன்னணிப் பாடகர்கள், சொற்பொழிவாளர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டார்கள், ஏகப்பட்ட விளம்பரம்!

திருவெம்பாவை – திருப்பள்ளிஎழுச்ச& #3007; – திருப்பாவை புத்தகங்கள் ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் அச்சிடப்பட்டு இலவசமாக விநியோகிக்கப்பட்ட& #2985;.

பாவைப் பாடல்களின் பண் நயமும் இலக்கிய நயமும் அறிஞர்களால் விளக்கி மொழியப்பட்டன. அவற்றின் பக்தி ரசத்தைச் சுவைத்து மயங்காதவரே இல்லை.

பாவைப் பாடல் இசைத்தட்டுக்கள் அமோகமாக விற்பனை ஆயின.

மார்கழி மாதம் வந்தது.

பெரியவா, வெறும் உபதேசியார் அல்லர். உபதேசங்களை நடத்திக் காட்டுபவர்கள்.

‘மார்கழி விடியற்காலையில் பாவைப் பாடல்களைப் பாட வேண்டும்‘ என்று சொல்லிவிட்டால் மட்டும் போதுமா ?

‘பிரகலாதன்’ என்று ஒரு யானை ஸ்ரீமடத்தில் இருந்தது. ராமமூர்த்தியையும் கண்ணனையும் அதன் மேல் உட்கார்ந்துகொண்டு, கையில் அரிக்கேன் விளக்கு வெளிச்சத்தில், புத்தகத்தைப் பார்த்துப் பாவைப் பாடல்களைப் பாடிக்கொண்டு, திருவிடைமருதூர் மகாலிங்கசுவாமி கோவிலின் நான்கு வீதிகளிலும் பவனி வரச் செய்தார்கள்.

அப்புறம் கேட்பானேன்!

தமிழ்நாட்டின் மூலை முடுக்குகளிலெல்லா& பாவை வெள்ளம் பாய்ந்தது; பக்திப் பயிர் வளர்ந்தது; நாயன்மார் – ஆழ்வார் பக்கம் மக்கள் பார்வை திரும்பியது. தமிழ் பக்தி இலக்கியத்துக்கு அடித்தது யோகம்!

ஓரிரு ஆண்டுகள் சென்றன.

ராமமூர்த்தியையுமĮ 1; கண்ணனையும் அழைத்தார்கள், பெரியவாள்.

‘ஞாபகம் இருக்கா? — திருவெம்பாவை யாருக்குத் தெரியும்? அதை யாரும் பாடமாட்டா – ன்னு சொன்னேளே? — இப்போ யாரவது பாடராளா?…’

இது, பெரியவாள் கொடுத்த குட்டு இல்லை; அன்புடன் வழங்கிய ஷொட்டு!

ஒரு முறை பெரிவாளிடம் ஒரு அம்மா சொன்னார். நான் நெறைய ஸ்ல ோகம் பாராயணம் பண்றேன்.மத்யானம் சாப்பிடவே ஒரு மணியாறது. ஆனா பிரச்சினைகள் தீரலே…பகவான் கண் பார்க்கலேன்னு வருத்தப்பட்டார்.

“ஸ்லோகம் சொல்றச்சே சுவாமி முன்னாடி உட்கார்ந்துண்டு, சுவாமியை மனசிலே நிறுத்திண்டுதானே பாராயணம் பண்றேள்”னு கேட்டேன்.

“அதெப்படி முடியும்? குளிச்சிண்டே,வேற வெலை பார்த்துண்டே தான் சொல்றேன்.எல்லாம் மனப்பாடம்.தப்பு வராது”ன்னா.

காய் நறுக்கணும்னா அரிவாள்மணை,கத்தியைக் கிட்டே வைச்சுக்கறோம். சமைக்கணும்னா அடுப்பு கிட்டே போகணும்.

குளிக்கணும், துவைக்கணும்னா தண்ணீர் பக்கத்திலே போறோம். ஸ்கூட்டர், கார் எதுவானாலும் கிட்ட இருந்து ஓட்டினா தான் ஓடறது.

ஆனா ஸ்லோகம் சொல்லணும்னா மனசு சுவாமிகிட்டே போக வேண்டாமா? “ஸர்வாந்தர்யாமி” தான் அவன். ஆனாலும் பிரச்சினை பெரிசுன்னா பக்கத்துல உட்கார்ந்து அனுசரணையா சிரத்தையா
சொல்லுங்கோ… நிச்சயம் கேட்பான்.

வேறு வேலையில் கவனம் இல்லாமிலிருந்தால் விபத்து நடக்கும். ஆனா பகவான் ஞாபகம் இல்லாம ஸ்லோக மந்திரத்தை முணு முணுத்தா போறும்னு நெனைக்கலாமா?

புதுப் பூவைப் பார்த்தா பகவானுக்குத் தரணும்னு ஆசை வரணும். தளதளன்னு இருக்கிற சந்தனத்தை பகவானுக்கு பூசிப் பார்க்கணும்னு நெனைப்பு வரணும்.இந்தப் புடவையிலே அம்பாள் எப்படி
இருப்பாள்னு நெனைச்சு தியானம் பண்ணினாலேகருணை செய்கிறவாளாச்சே!

கல்லைத் தூக்கி சமுத்திரத்திலே போட்டா மூழ்கிடும். ஆனா மரத்தாலே கப்பல் பண்ணி, அதிலே எத்தனை கல் ஏத்தினாலும் மூழ்கிறதில்லே!

கவலைகள் கல்லு மாதிரி,பகவான் தெப்பம் மாதிரி, மனசு என்கிற சமுத்திரத்திலே பகவானைத் தெப்பமாக்கணும். தெய்வத்தை இணைக்கிற ஆணிகள் தான் பூஜை மந்திரங்கள் எல்லாம்.
அப்புறம் கவலைகளைத் தூக்கி தெப்பத்தில் இறக்கலாம். சம்சாரசாகரத்தில் மூழ்கடிக்கப்படாமல் கரை சேர்ந்து விடலாம்.

A green gourd sinks in water, but a dry one floats. Become dry – rid yourselves of attachments, desires, and avoid anxieties and worries. Then you can float unaffected on the waters of change and chance. Even water, when it becomes steam, can rise into the sky. Be free from the desires that drag you down; have only the yearning to come face to face with the Truth. The truth is shining inside you, waiting to be discovered. God is your Indweller and so when you seek Him outside, He cannot be caught. Look for Him within you. Love Him with no other thought, and feel that without Him, nothing is worth anything. Feel that He is all. Then you become His and He becomes yours. There is no kinship nearer than that!

புறத்தோற்றம் ஒரு அளவுகோள் அல்ல !!!

மகான் கர்நாடாகாவில் 1979 – ம் வருடம் பாதயாத்திரை மேற்கொண்டு இருந்தார். பயணித்தப்பிறகு, மாலை நேரத்தில் ஓர் இடத்தில தங்குவது வழக்கம்.

அன்றும் வழக்கம்போல் காலையில் ஒரு குளத்தின் கரையில் அமர்ந்து, பக்தர்களுக்கு தரிசனம் கொடுத்து கொண்டு இருந்தார்.

அப்போது, மகானை பார்க்க இரு அந்தண இளைஞர்கள் அங்கே வந்தனர்.

தரக்குறைவான ஆடைகளுடன் , குளிக்காத தோற்றத்தோடும் , படிப்பு அறிவே கொஞ்சமும் இல்லாதவர்களை போல் காட்சியளித்த அவர்களை பார்த்த டாக்டர் ராமமூர்த்தி முகம் சுளித்தார்.

மகானை பார்க்க வரும்போது குளித்துவிட்டு, சுத்தமான அடைகளை அணிந்துகொண்டு வரவேண்டாமோ?

மகானை வழங்கி எழுந்த அவர்களை கணிவுடன் பார்த்து, மகான் கேட்டார்,

“அத்யயனம் முடிந்தாகி விட்டதா?

அவர்களும் தலையை ஆட்டினார்கள்.

“ரிக்வேதம்” சொல்லுங்கள்” என்று மகான் கட்டளை இட்டவுடன், அருவியிலிருந்து நீர் பெருக்கெடுத்து வந்தது போல், அவர்கள் வேதத்தை சொல்ல தொடங்கினார்கள்.

கண்களை மூடியவாறு மகான் அதை கேட்டு கொண்டிருந்தவர் – பிறகு அவராக கையமர்த்தியபின் தான் அவர்கள் வேதம் சொல்வதை நிறுத்தினார்கள்.

“எங்கிருந்து வருகிறீர்கள்?” – மகான் கேட்டார்.

இருபது மைல்களுக்கு அப்பால் இருந்த ஓர் இடத்தை சொன்னார்கள் இளைஞர்கள்.

“அங்கிருந்து எப்படி வந்தீர்கள்?

“நடந்துதான் வந்தோம்”

“திரும்பி போகும்போது?

“நடந்துதான் போகவேண்டும்”

மகானை பார்க்க இருபது மைல் தூரத்தை நடந்தே கடந்து வந்து இருகிறார்கள்.

உடம்பில் அழுக்கு ஏன் சேராது?

மடத்தின் மூலமாக அவர்களுக்கு புதிய ஆடைகளை கொடுத்து, உண்ண உணவு கொடுத்து அனுப்பினார், மகான்.

அவர்களை பற்றி தவறாக நினைத்துகொண்டிரு;த டாக்டரின் பக்கம் திரும்பினார் மகா பெரியவர்.

“மனிதனின் வெளிப்படையான தோற்றத்தை வைத்து, அவனது உண்மையான யோக்கியதை அறியாது மனதை குழப்பிக் கொள்ளக்கூடாது”, என்றார்.

அவர் மனதில் என்ன நினைத்தார் என்று இவருக்கு எப்படி தெரியும்? டாக்டர் மெய்சிலிர்த்தார்…
