Message for the Day…” Until You See Divinity in Everyone and Everywhere, Continue to Meditate and Repeat the God’s Name …”

Sathya Sai Baba

Though your body may be inactive, your mind will be very busy, committing acts on its own. People with such minds fall prey to fate or karmic consequences easily! When one has the mind fixed on contemplation of God and the pursuit of truth, though the body and senses do acts that are of service to the world, they won’t be affected by karma; though they do actions, they are free from the fruits of the action. This is the lesson from Bhagavad Gita. The heart of the person who doesn’t strive to cultivate the mind with holy thoughts is definitely the paradise of evil and wickedness. Bear this in your mind: Until you see Divinity in everyone and everywhere, continue to meditate and repeat the Lord’s name. Also, devote your time to the service of the world, regardless of the fruits thereof. Carry on this until your mind is free from the waves of feelings and is full of Divinity. Then you will become blessed.

Message for the Day…” Once You Gaze at the world with a Divine Attitude, You See Only Divinity…”

The entire Universe is suffused with Divinity. Since your mind is steeped in Prakruthi (worldly objects) you are not able to seeParamatma (Divine). Just as when you focus your attention at a necklace, you shut your eyes to what it is made of, similarly as long as you look at the world with a materialistic attitude, Divinity shuts itself off from us. Once you gaze at the world with a divine attitude you see only Divinity. Who are the thieves that steal from every human being their peace and joy? They are the thieves of desire, pride, greed, infatuation, anger and jealousy, who rob a man of all his riches. But the worst of all thieves who inflicts the worst damage is matsarya (envy). We must win over our internal enemies and turn our gaze to Divinity who pervades the entire Universe.

Message For the Day… ” Awareness of the Unity in Divinity is the Need of the Hour…”

Birds, beasts and trees do service to man, without anticipating any recompense, but human beings seek help from their kind, from their parents, preceptors and even God, offering in return only insult and injury. They parade their loyalty to Truth, Right Conduct, Peace and Nonviolence – virtues arising from self-less love; but it is only for exhibition and not for experience. They long to recede respect and affection from others but are reluctant to treat others in the same manner. Their full concern is centered on the body-mind complex, ignoring the fact even a hundred-year long life has to end in the cemetery. In order to free oneself from the ego, people must learn to recognize the one Divinity that temporarily wears different forms and names to distract by apparent multiplicity. Removal of this mistaken view and attainment of the awareness of the unity in Divinity – this is the true purpose of education.

Message For the Day…” Where There is Purity, There is Divinity…”

Lord Krishna in the Gita says, “You are all part of My Divinity. Hence you should follow Me. My love is divine and sacred. So is yours!” (Mamaivamso jeevaloke jeevabhutah sanatanah). If you truly follow this principle, you will automatically achieve purity. Where there is purity, there is Divinity. Since time immemorial, each and every one of you are part of Me; you are My very own. Never forget this truth. If you develop faith in this truth, it will amount to reading all the scriptures. Every human being followsDharma (Righteousness). Where did this Dharma come from? It has come from feeling (bhava), which in turn emanated from faith(vishwas). Where faith is, there Dharma is! That faith is Truth.Dharma is verily the embodiment of Divinity. Truth is God; Faith is God; Love is God; Live in Love. Only when you cultivate Truth, Faith and Love, you can achieve anything.

Message For the Day…” Difficulties You Face in Your Life are Opportunities for Your Progress…”

Always attend to your duties with a pleasant and smiling face. There is no use putting a ‘castor oil face’. Happiness is union with God. That is real Divinity. When you are confronted with difficult situations do not get upset and constantly worry thinking, “Oh My! How do I cross this situation?”. Such worry will only worsen the situation. Repose your faith in God. Think that difficulties are opportunities for your advancement. If you develop this attitude, your life will be sanctified. Whoever doesNamasmarana, whatever name they take and wherever they are, their life will be sanctified. They will be free from sin. Do not be too much concerned or bogged down withraga and tala (tune and rhythm). There is only one Raga, that is Hridayaraga (the tune of your own heart). That is ‘So… ham’ (‘I am I’). Tune your life Unto Him. Then, whatever activity you undertake, it becomes a success.
