ஏதோ ஓர் அறக்கட்டளையை கலைத்துவிட அதன் அறங்காவலர்கள்
முடிவு செய்திருப்பதாகவும், அவர்கள் யாவரும் பெரியவாளின்
பக்தர்களாகையால் அதன் சொத்துக்களை அவர் உயிரினும் பெரிதாக
மதித்த வேதரக்ஷண நிதி ட்ரஸ்டுக்கு மாற்றி விட விரும்புவதாகவும்
அவர்களில் ஒருவர் செய்தி கொண்டு வந்தார். அதற்கு ஸ்ரீ சரணருடைய
அநுமதியும் அநுக்ரஹமும் வேண்டினார்.

ஸ்ரீ சரணர் பளிச்செனப் பதிலிறுத்தார்: “நீங்க ட்ரஸ்டீகளெல்லாரும்
எங்கிட்ட பக்தியா இருக்கேன்னா போறுமா என்ன? ஒங்க பக்தியை,
அபிமானத்தை மனஸார அங்கீகரிச்சுக்கறேன். ஆனாலும் ஒங்க
ட்ரஸ்டோட ஆஸ்தி பாஸ்தியை வேதரக்ஷண நிதிக்கு ட்ரான்ஸ்ஃபர்
பண்றதுன்னா, அதுக்குச் சட்டம் எடம் குடுத்தாதானே முடியும்?
அந்த மாதிரிக் குடுக்கலியே! “ப்ரன்ஸிபள் அவ் ஸீப்ரே”ன்னு
‘லா’வுல இருக்கு. அதன்படி, ஒரு டிரஸ்டைக் கலைக்கும்படி
ஏற்பட்டா அதனோட சொத்துக்களை எந்த லக்ஷ்யத்துல அந்த ட்ரஸ்ட்
ஆரம்பிச்சு நடத்துதோ, அதுக்கு ரொம்பக் கிட்டினதான ஒரு

இருக்குன்னாலும் அப்படித்தான் சட்டம் கட்டுப்படுத்தறது.

” ‘ஸீப்ரே’-ன்னு சட்டப் பாயின்ட் சொன்னேனே, அதுக்கு ஸ்பெல்லிங்படி
உச்சரி்ப்புப் பாத்தா ‘ஸைப்ரஸ்’னு வரும். ஆனா அது ஃப்ரெஞ்ச்
வார்த்தையானதால, அந்த பாஷையோட லக்ஷணப்படி ஸ்பெல்லிங்
ஒரு தினுஸாவும், உச்சரிப்பு வேறே தினுஸாவும் இருக்கும். இந்த
வார்த்தை ஸ்பெல்லிங்படி ‘ஸைப்ரஸ்’ன்னு ஆகும்.ஆனாலும்
ஸைப்ரஸ் தீவுக்குப் போடற ஸ்பெல்லிங் இல்லை. அந்தத் தீவுக்கு,

ஹைஃபன், ஹைஃபனுக்கு அப்பறம் P,R,E..E, தான் U இல்லே:

Message For the Day…” Keep Your Desires Under Control …”

People are deluded by unlimited desires. They live in a dream world, forgetting the Supreme Consciousness. It is very important to keep desires under control and place a ceiling on them. Instead of inordinately spending for our own pleasure, we should offer money for the relief of the poor and needy. Do not make the mistake of thinking that giving away your money for good and noble purposes is all that is needed to practice ceiling on desires. While giving to the needy is good, it is equally important that you do not allow your own desires to continue to multiply; both should happen. You must curtail your desires, as materialistic desires lead to a restless and disastrous life. Desires are a prison. You can be freed only by restraining your wants. Limit them to only what you truly need in life. This is the real meaning of ‘Ceiling on Desires’.

Most Beautiful River in the World !!!

The river shown in the photographs below is Caño Cristales, an amazingly colorful river in Colombia. The river takes on many different colors, including yellow, green, blue, black, but especially red, caused by the weeds at the bottom of the river (Macarenia clavigera).

The river is commonly called “The River of Five Colors”, “The Liquid Rainbow” “The River That Ran Away to Paradise”, and “The Most Beautiful River in the World” due to its striking colors.

This is what I imagine a river downstream from a Skittles factory looks like. Taste the rainbow!

How Birds Fly in V Formation ….

A new study says birds precisely time when they flap their wings, and position themselves to capture upwash (“good air”) and avoid downwash or (“bad air”).

Birds flying in a distinctive V formation strategically position themselves in aerodynamically optimum positions, and experience positive aerodynamic interactions that maximize upwash (“good air”) capture, according to a study the journal Nature by researchers at Royal Veterinary College, University of London.

The data, captured from free-flying migrating birds using specially developed GPS technology, reveals the mechanisms by which birds flying in V formation can both use areas of beneficial upwash while avoiding regions of detrimental downwash (“bad air”).

These aerodynamic accomplishments were previously not thought possible for birds because of the complex flight dynamics and sensory feedback that would be required to perform such a feat.

Dr. Steven Portugal is lead researcher at the Royal Veterinary College. He said:

The intricate mechanisms involved in V formation flight indicate remarkable awareness and ability of birds to respond to the wingpath of nearby flock-mates. Birds in V formation seem to have developed complex phasing strategies to cope with the dynamic wakes produced by flapping wings.

Dr. Portugal and his team studied a free-flying flock of northern bald ibises (Geronticus eremita), a critically endangered species. They equipped 14 juvenile birds with back-mounted synchronised GPS and inertial measurement devices. The team recorded the position and every wing flap of all individuals within the V during 43 min of migratory flight. The precision of these measurements allowed the relative positioning of individuals in a V to be tracked, and the potential aerodynamic interactions to be investigated at a level and complexity not previously feasible.

Satwik food must be less spicy, less salty and must have less amount of tamarind (sourness). Not merely that, it must not be made up of excess oil, must be fresh and must not be stale (food prepared in the morning should not be taken in the evening). This isSatwik food. Some people consider milk as Satwik. No doubt, milk, curds and fruits are Satwik in nature, but when consumed in excessive amounts, they become Tamasik and make one dull and sleepy. When we take curds in excess, we can become Tamasik. Hence reduce having milk or curds in large quantities. It is good to mix one part of water with one part of milk. The food you eat must have been earned and prepared through the right means and should be offered to God before partaking. Only then Satwikfeelings will emanate in man. If the food is earned through unrighteousness means, it will generate wicked feelings.

A wise man presented a young boy with a set of three small dolls. The boy was not amused.

“Am I a girl that you give me dolls?” he asked.

“This is a gift for you, as I see that you are going to become a great man in future” said the man. “If you look carefully, you’ll see a hole in the ear of each doll.”

“So?”

The wise man handed him a piece of string.

“Pass it through each doll,” he said.

 

Intrigued, the boy picked up the first doll and put the string into the ear. It came out from the other ear.

“This is one type of person,” said the man. “Whatever you tell him, comes out from the other ear. He doesn’t retain anything.”

 

The boy put the string into the second doll. It came out from the mouth.“This is the second type of person,” said the man. “Whatever you tell him, he tells everybody else.”

The boy picked up the third doll and repeated the process. The string did not reappear from anywhere else.“This is the third type of person,” said the man. “Whatever you tell him is locked up within him. It never comes out.”

“What is the best type of person?” asked the boy.The man handed him a fourth doll, in answer.When the boy put the string into the doll, it came out from the other ear.“Do it again,” said the wise man. The boy repeated the process. This time the string came out from the mouth. When he put the string in a third time, it did not come out at all.“This is the best type of person,” said the wise man.

“To be trustworthy, A man must know when not to listen, when to remain silent and when to speak out.”

டாக்டர் தியாக. சத்தியமூர்த்தி, தமிழகத்தின் தலைசிறந்த தொல்லியல் ஆய்வாளர்களுள் ஒருவர். தமிழ்நாடு, கேரளம், கர்நாடகம், குஜராத், டெல்லி, ராஜஸ்தானம் என இந்தியாவின் பல பகுதிகளில் தொல்லியல் ஆய்வுகளை நிகழ்த்தியவர். இந்தியத் தொல்பொருள் கள ஆய்வுத் துறை மூலம் இவர் ஆற்றிய பணிகள் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கன. தமிழகத்தில் ஆதிச்சநல்லூர், மகாபலிபுரம் போன்ற இடங்களில் இவர் செய்த ஆய்வுகள் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்தவை.

சிறு வயதிலிருந்தே அவரை தரிசித்திருக்கிறேன். தொல்லியலாளரான பின்னர் அவரைப் பார்க்கப் போனபோது, “நீ என்ன வேலை பார்க்கிறாய்?” என்று கேட்டார். அப்போது கோவில்கள் திட்டப்பணியில் தொல்லியல் துறையில் செய்யும் பணிபற்றிச் சொன்னேன். “நீ மகாபலிபுரம் போயிருக்கிறாயா? அங்கு என்ன பார்த்தாய்?” என்று கேட்டார். நான் பஞ்சபாண்டவர் ரதம், மகிஷாசுரமர்த்தினி என்றெல்லாம் சொன்னேன்.

“அங்கு பல்லவர்களுடைய கடிகாரம் ஒன்று இருக்கிறதே, அதைப் பார்த்திருக்கிறாயா?” என்று கேட்டார். ஏதோ விளையாட்டுக்குச் சொல்கிறார் என்று நினைத்து, “பல்லவா காலத்தில் ஏது பெரியவா கடிகாரம்?” என்று கேட்டேன். “இருக்கு. இருக்கு. நீ அடுத்தவாட்டி போறப்போ நல்லா பார்த்துட்டு வா!” என்றார்.

மறுமுறை போனபோது, “கடிகாரம் பார்த்தாயா?” என்று கேட்டார். “இல்லை பெரியவா, எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை” என்றேன். “அர்ஜுனன் தவம் பார்த்தியா?” என்று கேட்டார். “பார்த்தேன்” என்றேன். “அந்த அர்ஜுனன் தபஸ் சிற்பத்திற்குக் கீழே நதி ஒன்று ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும். சின்ன விஷ்ணு கோயில் ஒன்று இருக்கும். பக்கத்தில் ரிஷி ஒருவர் உட்காந்து கொண்டிருப்பார். கீழே அமர்ந்து சிலர் வேதம் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். ஒருவர் ஆற்றில் நனைத்த துணியைப் பிழிந்து கொண்டிருப்பார். மற்றொருவர் நின்று கொண்டு மாத்யான்னிஹ வந்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருப்பார். (அதில் ஒருவர் இரண்டு கைகளையும் கோர்த்து விரலிடுக்கால் உச்சியிலிருக்கும் சூரியனைப் பார்க்கிறார்) பனிரெண்டு மணிக்கு இந்த விஷயம் நடந்தது என்பதைச் சிற்பி தெரிவிக்கிறார். அதைத்தான் ‘பல்லவ கடிகாரம்‘ என்று சொன்னேன்” என்று பெரியவர் சொன்னார்.

பெரியவரின் நுணுக்கமான பார்வையைக் கண்டு எனக்கு பிரமிப்பு ஏற்பட்டது.
