Message For the Day…” Mind is the Reflection of the Food We Consume …”

Food is considered God, as it is the source of a person’s life, body, mind, and character. Eat only what you need. Do not be greedy and take more than you can eat and waste the rest. Wasting food is a great sin; your surplus can feed another stomach. Even a major part of the food you consume, the gross part, is thrown out as waste matter. A minute amount of the food, which is the subtle part, is assimilated by the body and flows as blood. And a minuscule amount, which is the subtlest part of the food, makes up your mind. Therefore mind is the reflection of the food consumed. When demonic tendencies arise in our minds, know that it is from the food we consume. To receive real nourishment, pay attention to the quality of food that you eat and let it be very pure, clean, sanctified, and Satwik.

Art Works at Sandy Beach !!!

If you live in San Francisco, California, then you may be lucky enough to come across the art of Andres Amador. He doesn’t paint or sculpt. He prefers a medium that is temporary but absolutely beautiful: a sandy beach at low tide. He uses a rake to create works of art that can be bigger than 100,000 sq. ft.

He spends hours creating these intricate masterpieces, knowing that the tide will soon come in and wash away his work forever.

Andres’ creations are simply stunning and knowing that these delicate creations are temporary somehow makes them even more beautiful.

You should definitely Like Andres On Facebook and Visit His Web Site where you can buy prints of his designs if you want.

Jokes For The Day…” I Believe You are in My Chair ….” !!!

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got 1000 mi/gal.”
Recently General Motors addressed this comment by releasing the statement: “Yes, but would you want your car to crash twice a day?”
Not only that, but….
Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.
Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.
Occasionally, executing a maneuver would cause your car to stop and fail and you would have to re-install the engine. For some strange reason, you would accept this too.
You could only have one person in the car at a time, unless you bought “Car95” or “CarNT”. But, then you would have to buy more seats.
Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast, twice as easy to drive, but would only run on five percent of the roads.
The Macintosh car owners would get expensive Microsoft upgrades to their cars, which would make their cars run much slower.
The oil, gas and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single “general car default” warning light.
New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.
The airbag system would say “are you sure?” before going off.
If you were involved in a crash, you would have no idea what happened.

……………………………

Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Al Gore were in an airplane that crashed. They’re up in heaven, and God’s sitting on the great white throne. God addresses Al first. “Al, what do you believe in?”
Al replies, “Well, I believe that the combustion engine is evil and that we need to save the world from CFCs and that if any more Freon is used, the whole earth will become a greenhouse and we’ll all die.” God thinks for a second and says, “Okay, I can live with that. Come and sit at my left.”
God then addresses Bill Clinton: “Bill, what do you believe in?”
Bill Clinton replies, “Well, I believe in power to the people. I think people should be able to make their own choices about things and that no one should ever be able to tell someone else what to do. I also believe in feeling people’s pain.”
God thinks for a second and says, “Okay, that sounds good. Come and sit at my right.”
God then addresses Bill Gates: “Bill Gates, what do you believe in?”
Bill Gates says, “I believe you’re in my chair.”

” Are You an addict Of Facebook ” !!!

How much time have you wasted on Facebook?+

How much time have you wasted on Facebook?+ Source: Supplied

FACEBOOK’s 10th birthday is next week, and to celebrate, TIME has made a calculator that wants to remind you just how much of your life you’ve wasted on the social networking site.

While Facebook doesn’t actually hand over data about how often someone logs in or specific time idling the site, it does give access to the timestamps of everything you have posted.

So it works by going through your posts from the beginning of your Facebook addiction right until today, coupled with an estimate of how many minutes per day you think you spend.

It then spits out a pretty accurate estimation on the time you’ve spent on Facebook. But since it doesn’t account for the time you’ve spent lurking through pictures of that crush of yours, feel free to add even a few gazillion more hours to whatever number you get.

Does this mean I'm a Facebook...

Does this mean I’m a Facebook addict?

Methodology

Facebook doesn’t publicize data on exactly how often a user logs in, though you can bet that they’ve got that information. In lieu of that measurement, this app runs through the timestamps on every post in your feed until it reaches the earliest one, which it uses as the estimated date that you created your profile. Users who are extraordinarily active on the site may get an estimate that is considerably later than the actual date that they joined.

As per the calculator …..calculator Link in the next paragraph…. i have wasted 14 Days 14 Hours and 51 Minutes since 10 Aug 2010 !!!!

Message for the Day…” Fruit of Action depends upon the Action itself …”

Jealousy will make a person see bad, even in the good! It will bring about your destruction in many ways. Root it out of you at the earliest. If not, the next one to come is ego. Ego destroys discrimination, drives out human qualities, and turns you into a demon. Doubt, jealousy, ego and lack of faith are four very strong evil qualities. Even if any one of those four are present in anyone, without doubt, they will be ruined over time. Develop good conduct and earnestly practice good behavior as much as possible, then you will attain the status of a noble person over time. Never do any work with the desire for money or any other benefit. Expecting the result of work is greediness. The fruit of the action depends upon the action itself. Can you expect 100/100 even before you start studying? Instead of studying keeping marks in view, you must study because it is your duty, and do it with total dedication.

Jokes For the Day…” Guess Where” …!!!

All too rarely, airline attendants make an effort to make the in-flight “safety lecture”, and their other announcements a bit more entertaining.
Here are some real examples that have been heard or
reported:

1. On a Continental Flight with a very “senior” flight attendant
crew, the pilot said, “Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve reached
cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for
your comfort, and to enhance the appearance of your flight
attendants.”

2. On landing the stewardess said, “There may be 50 ways to leave
your lover, but there are only 4 ways out off this airplane.”

3. As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Washington
National, a lone voice came over the loudspeaker: “Whoa, big fella.
WHOA!”

4. After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in
Memphis, a flight attendant on a Northwest flight announced, “Please
take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a
landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted.”

5. “In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will
descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull
it over your face. If you have a small child traveling with you,
secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are traveling with
more than one small child, pick your favorite.”

………………………….

1. “Weather at our destination is 50 degrees with some broken
clouds, but we’ll try to have them fixed before we arrive. Thank you, and
remember, nobody loves you, or your money, more than Southwest Airlines.”

2. “Your seat cushions can be used for flotation, and, in the
event of an emergency water landing, please paddle to shore and take
them with you with our compliments.”

3. “As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your
belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among
the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses.”

4. And from the pilot during his welcome message: “Delta airlines
is pleased to have some of the best flight attendants in the
industry. Unfortunately, none of them are on this flight!”

5. Overheard on an American Airlines flight into Amarillo, Texas, on a particularly
windy and bumpy day: During the final approach, the Captain was really having to
fight it. After an extremely hard landing, the Flight Attendant said, “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Amarillo. Please remain in your seats with your seat belts fastened
while the Captain taxis what’s left of our airplane to the gate

………………………………..
A young and foolish pilot wanted to sound cool on the aviation frequencies. So, this was his first time approaching a field during the nighttime. Instead of making any official requests to the tower, he said: “Guess who?”
The controller switched the field lights off and replied: “Guess where?
