Message For The Day….Hold On to HIM …You Will Never Slip ….

This microphone before Me, must have been made by someone, is it not? The creator is not visible or known to you presently, but you have no doubts of this person’s existence. Besides, you are confident that this person understands and knows fully well all the components, characteristics, features and effective functioning of this microphone. So too, there must be a Creator for this Universe and He must be know all about it. This Universe is composed of the five elements, and He is their Manipulator, fully aware of their subtle characteristics and properties. That Creator is your Indweller (Kshetrajna), who knows His Field (Kshethra). Hold on to Him and live your lives; you will not slip. Build your activities on that basis, your career will not cave in. You will develop courage and faith in yourself and in your destiny.

Solve This Math. Problem!!! And Claim $1 Million from Texas Banker !!!!

Texas banker and self-taught mathematician D. Andrew Beal has increased the cash prize for proving a conjecture he discovered in 1993, the Associated Press reported.

Held by the American Mathematical Society, the $1,000,000 cash prize goes to the first to prove the Beal Conjecture, an offshoot of the legendary Fermat’s Last Theorem proof that was solved by Andrew Wiles in 1994.

Here’s the problem that can make you rich.

beal's conjecture

Fermat’s Last Theorem went unsolved for hundreds of years. It said that no three positive integers a, b and c can satisfy

ax + bx = cx

when integer x is greater than two. While this may seem somewhat simple, and if you play around with it it becomes self-evident, it’s a complete pain to prove.

Andy Beal had been working on Fermat’s Last Theorem when he stumbled upon a different problem. At the time, he was using computers to look at similar equations with different exponents.

Beal’s Conjecture is related. If a, b, c, x, y, and z are all positive integers and x, y, z are greater than two,

ax + by = cz

is only possible when a, b and c have a common prime factor.

Beal found during his computations that the only solutions to the equation were when a, b and c had a common factor  — like how 8, 6 and 10 all have a common factor of 2 — so he contacted folks in academia to confirm that the problem was new, then set up a prize with the AMS for the person who proves his conjecture.

So, if you find a proof or counterexample to Beal’s Conjecture that gets approved by the AMS-appointed committee and gets into a journal, you get a million bucks.

Laughter …The Best Medicine !!!…Lively Interview !!!

“When did India get independence?” A Candidate was asked.
“The efforts began a few years earlier and final result was in 1947” he replied.

“Who was responsible for our independence?”
“There were so many. Whom to mention? If I name one it will be an injustice to another.” He replied.

Is corruption the number one enemy in our country?”
“Some research is going on the subject and I can answer with certainty only after seeing the report” He replied.

The interview board was very pleased with his original and thoughtful answers and asked him not to reveal the questions to others, since they were planning to ask the same questions. When he went out naturally others were curious to know what was asked. He politely declined, but Suppandi, a persistent man, would not leave him.

“At least tell me the answers” he pleaded, and our friend obliged.
Then it was the turn of Suppandi. When he went inside, since his resume was slightly illegible, the board member asked him.

“By the way, what is your date of birth?”
He replied, “The effort began a few years earlier and final result was in 1947.

Somewhat puzzled, they asked another clarification.”What is your fathers name?”
He replied, “There were so many. Whom to mention? If I name one it will be injustice to the others”.

The interviewer was incensed. “Hey! are you mad or what?”
He replied. “Some research is going on the subject. I can answer with certainty only after seeing the report.”

Message For The Day….Our Mind To be Fixed On Sathya and Nithya Thro Viveka …

The life principle (Jeevathathwa) is like the grain covered in the husk of delusion (Maya), as that rice is enveloped in the paddy. The husk (Maya) has to be removed. The grain (Jeevathathwa) has to be boiled and made soft and assimilated so that it might add to health and strength. The softened rice can be compared to the Supreme Soul (Paramathma). The mind should be employed in this process. It has to be fixed in the Truth (Sathya) and the Ever-lasting (Nithya). To remove the husk, Discrimination (Viveka) is an effective instrument. Develop the power of discrimination and find out, which is beneficial, and which is not. Seek the light always – be full of confidence and zest. Never yield to despair, for it has never produced any results!

“Maglev”…Japan’s Floating Bullet Train !!!!

Japan’s floating bullet trains – which will travel at up speeds of up to 311mph – have undergone their first test runs.

The magnetic levitation, or ‘maglev’ trains, use state-of-the-art technology to reach mind-blowing speeds.

The teams behind the operation aim to have an established track from Tokyo to Osaka by 2045, eventually linking the entire country from north to south.
Japan's 'floating' trains of the future, designed to travel at speeds of 311mph, have undergone their first track tests

Maglev Japan test run

Maglev trains use magnets to lift the carriages above the track, eliminating the need for wheels and therefore any incidence of friction, providing a faster and quieter service.

The first five of the Series LO cars, manufactured by Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai), are propelled by magnetic forces and have undergone initial tests that involved being pushed along the track by a maintenance car, the Telegraph reported.

Official test runs are scheduled to begin in September, and are on schedule to be running between Tokyo and Nagoya, the third largest city in Japan, by 2027.

The sleek, aerodynamic trains are the fastest ever manufactured.

Japan is well-established as the world leader in high-speed trains, having developed the first ‘bullet train’ in 1964.

Maglev trains are the latest in high speed transport, and have reached up to 361mph in test runs.

China was the first country to have a commercially-operated Maglev service.

The Shanghai Maglev opened to the public in January 2004, and has a top commercial operational speed of 268mph due to the short track length. It cost $1.3billion (£830million) to build.

Manufacturers claim that Maglev technology is less polluting than the flights that currently link the cities.

Message for The Day…How to Reach Dharma kshetra….

Every being is a pilgrim towards Dharmakshetra (Righteous land), which is also the abode of peace. But, on the way, he or she is led into the by-lanes and alleys of objective pleasure by the senses, to which the person becomes a slave. People are eager to know about all kinds of trivialities like the details of others’ lives, other places, etc., but they have no keenness to know their own origin. People are deeply sunk in ignorance about their source and substance, their goals and destiny. You are the inheritor of unlimited wealth and fortune, yet you feel like a poor man (pauper). Remove this boundary of ego within your mind – you will then recognize the vastness of yourself.

Humour In Politics !!!!

During the 1920s and 1930 there was a very controversial politician in Britain called Johnston. Once another notable politician was asked what was the difference between a tragedy and a calamity. The reply was: If Johnston were to be drowned in the Thames, that would be a tragedy. But if he were to come out alive, that would be a calamity.

Once Johnston made an unpleasant statement about the government. The entire media was up against him and for a full week there were devastating attacks on him but he did not respond. A journalist asked him about this and Johnston’s reply was: Just imagine the amount of free publicity I got all last week!

xxxxxx

This humorous touch was not missing in India. In 1951, Rajendra Prasad outwitted Nehru and got himself elected the first President of the Republic though Nehru’s preference was for Rajaji, the Governor-General. Five years later, Nehru preferred Radhakrishnan as President but Rajen Babu again got the better of Nehru and was elected President. Rajen Babu was one of the most selfless freedom fighters and highly respected by Congressmen. After Independence, attitudes started changing, resulting in even a person like him manoeuvring to stay on as President for a second term. The then Editor of Deccan Herald, Pothan Joseph, wrote in his daily column, “Over a cup of tea”: “Rajen Babu was sitting in his presidential suite, eagerly waiting to give his reluctant consent to continue as President.” Readers had a good laugh but a badly hurt Rajen Babu wrote a nasty letter to the Editor.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was another politician who regaled audiences with his humorous remarks. During an election meeting in Gujarat, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi told the gathering that she was a daughter of Uttar Pradesh and daughter-in-law of Gujarat and was seeking votes on that basis. Vajpayee later said Mrs. Gandhi had forgotten to say that she was also the mother-in-law of Italy. The audience had a hearty laugh and one journalist later wrote that this humorous remark of Vajpayee had brought the BJP a lot of votes.
