One tree, four years of work and an indescribable amount of talent: that’s what it took to create this incredible masterpiece. A famous Chinese wood carver chopped down a single tree and tirelessly worked on it for over four years to make this piece. Your jaw will hit the floor when you see what he created.
It all started out with a simple tree trunk…
Then Zheng Chunhui, a famous wood carver, spent over four years creating this masterpiece.
The carving is based on the famous Chinese painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival.” The original artwork was created over 1,000 years ago.
The piece won the Guinness World Record for the longest wooden carving and measures over 40ft (specifically, it is 12.286 meters long, is 3.075 meters tall at it highest point, and is also 2.401 meters wide).
The intricate carvings of daily life in ancient China are so detailed and perfect, they could drop your jaw.
It’s no surprise that this incredible work of art is drawing so much attention. It’s amazing, but not just because it’s so big, but also because it’s so incredibly detailed.
That was 8,760 hours well spent.

Deal with this other person with the feeling that the Self in you is also present in the other. This is the way to develop love for all beings. Also do not bear ill will towards any country but be alike to all. Do not criticise the culture of other countries. Love your culture as your mother, just as people of other lands love their respective cultures. If you live like this, you will, without question, become an ideal person. You must spiritualise your attitude, tendencies, and mind.

” In Flight ” Humour !!!
After every flight, pilots fill out a form called a gripe sheet, which
conveys to the mechanics problems encountered with the aircraft during
the flight that need repair or correction. The mechanics read and correct
the problem, and then respond in writing on the lower half of the form
what remedial action was taken, and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets
before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crew and engineers lack a sense of
humor!
Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems as
submitted by Qantas pilots and the solution recorded by maintenance
engineers.

“நீ பாக்காட்டா என்ன … நான் உன்னைப் பாக்கறேன் …”
உத்தமமான குருவானவர், தன் சிஷ்யர்களை மட்டுமில்லை, சாமான்யமாக அவர்களுடைய திருஷ்டியில் படும், வஸ்துக்கள் அனைத்தையும் தன் பார்வையால் கடாக்ஷிப்பது. அந்த கடாக்ஷத்தை உள்வாங்கிக் கொள்ளும் பக்குவம் நமக்கு இருக்கிறதோ இல்லையோ, அந்த கடாக்ஷமே தன் வேலையை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்து விடும்.
மீன், தன் குஞ்சுகளை பார்வையாலேயே ரக்ஷிப்பது போன்றது மஹான்களின் திருஷ்டி. அதனால்தான் நம் குழந்தைகளை மஹான்களின் சன்னிதானத்திற்கு அழைத்துப் போவது.
அக்குழந்தைகளுக்கு மஹான்கள் யாரென்று கூட புரிந்து கொள்ளும் பக்குவம் இருக்கிறதோ இல்லையோ, அவர்களின் மேல் சூழ்ந்துள்ள தோஷங்களை நிவர்த்திக்கும் சக்தி அந்த திருஷ்டிக்கு உண்டு.
காஞ்சி மகாபெரியவாளிடம் ஆழ்ந்த பக்தி கொண்ட ஒரு பெண் இருந்தாள். அவளுடைய புருஷனுக்கோ, கடவுள், மஹான்கள், கோவில் என்று எதிலுமே நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. அதிலும் மஹான்கள் எல்லோருமே நம்மை போல் சாதாரண மனிதர்கள்தான்! என்ற ஒரு பேதைமை உண்டு.
ஒருமுறை அந்த அம்மாவின் வற்புறுத்தலின் பேரில் பெரியவாளை தரிசனம் பண்ண ஒப்புக் கொண்டார். ஆனால் அவர் போட்ட நிபந்தனை “நா அங்க வருவேன். pant shirt தான் போட்டுப்பேன். பஞ்சகச்சம் விபூதி எதுவும் கெடையாது. அவரை நமஸ்காரம் பண்ண மாட்டேன். உனக்காக வரேன் ஆனா,அவரைப் பாக்க மாட்டேன். தள்ளிதான் நிப்பேன்”.
பாவம் அந்த அம்மா ஒத்துக் கொண்டாள். போனார்கள். அவர் காலில் போட்டிருந்த ஷூவைக் கூட கழற்றவில்லை.
அந்த அம்மா மானசீகமா பெரியவாளிடம் பிரார்த்தனை பண்ணினாள் கணவருக்கு நல்ல புத்தி வேண்டி.
நம்ம பெரியவா சாக்ஷாத் காமாக்ஷித் தாயாரில்லையா? “நீ பாக்காட்டா என்ன? நான் ஒன்னைப் பாக்கறேன்” என்று சொல்லுவதுபோல், மேனாவுக்குள் இருந்து லேசாக எட்டி அந்த மனுஷனைப் பார்த்தார்.
அவ்வளவுதான்! கொஞ்ச நாள் கழித்து கணவர் “வாயேன்…போய் மடத்ல ஸ்வாமியை பார்த்துட்டு வருவோம்”. சாதாரண வேஷ்டி, ஷர்ட், லேசான விபூதி கீற்று! கொஞ்சநாள் கழித்து, பஞ்சகச்சம், குடுமி வைத்துக் கொள்ள ஆரம்பித்து, நாட்கள் செல்ல செல்ல, அந்த அம்மாவை விட பெரியவா மேல் பித்தாகிப் போனார்.
வேலையை விட்டார். பெரியவா படத்தை வைத்துக் கொண்டு சதா பஜனை, தியானம் என்று பரம பக்தராக மாறிவிட்டார்.
இதில் ஆச்சர்யம் என்னவென்றால்…….
பெரியவா அன்று ஒரே ஒரு தடவை அவரை கடாக்ஷித்ததுதான்! அப்புறம் ஒரு வார்த்தை பேசக் கூட இல்லை!

The four components in the “Ceiling on Desires” programme are: Curb on excessive talk, curb on excessive desires and expenditure, control of consumption of food, and check on waste of energy. You need some essential commodities for sustenance, and you should not aspire for more. Only if air is available in sufficient quantity will it be comfortable. If it is excessive and there is a gale, you will feel uncomfortable. When you are thirsty, you can consume only a limited quantity of water needed for the sustenance of the body; you can’t drink the entire water of the River Ganga. Your eyes automatically close when they happen to see a flash of lightning because they can’t withstand such high illumination. Therefore there must be a limit to everything, including desires.
