Message For The Day….In Your Heart There Is Aatma Rama….

Attach yourself to God, then all other attachment for the temporary objects will automatically fall off. At least, you will start seeing worldly objects in the right manner, in the light of their relative reality. It is only when the tiny little ego assumes enormous importance, there is a lot of bother. That is the root of all the travail. In your heart there is the Aatma Rama, the Rama who will confer eternal joy upon you. So repeat the Name of the Lord. The Lord’s Name is the Sun, which can make the lotus in the heart blossom in full. Lord Rama is not merely the son of emperor Dasaratha, but is the Ruler of Dasa Indriyas (the ten senses). The recital of Lord Rama’s Name must become as automatic and as frequent as your very breath. The Lord’s name will endow you with power and all the spiritual capital you need.

” Most Dangerous Airport In the World”

Those with a fear of flying may want to look away now.

Lukla Airport boasts the dubious honour of being known as the world’s most dangerous airport and one look at its unique airstrip will explain why.

With a fall of 9,200 ft awaiting passengers at the end of the runaway, flying to or from this Asian destination is not for the faint of heart.

Tenzing-Hillary Airport, also known as Lukla Airport, is a single landing strip in the town of Lukla, in Khumbu, eastern Nepal, and has been named by the History Channel and many seasoned travellers as being the most dangerous airport in the world.

These photographs, captured by photographer Wojciech Zwierzynski, 34, capture the petrifying landing.

‘It was a very scary experience flying in the airship, mainly because two days before my flight, the plane from the same company had crashed and 14 people died,’ said Wojciech.

‘This airport in Lukla does not have any radar or navigation devices; so the pilot can only depend on what they can see from the plane’s cockpit.

Daunting: This image shows the view from the cockpit of a plane coming in to land at Lukla Airport

‘Because the airport is on the mountain ridge, when you start descending you have to land. There is no option to stop descending and have a second try.’

With a sloped runway just 20 meters wide and 460 meters long, less than a tenth of the length of the standard 5,500 metres at international airports, this is one of the steepest approach pathways in the world.

Since the 1970’s, Lukla airport has had an astonishing amount of accidents, with the number now reaching into the double figures.

The most severe accident to date being the 8th October 2008 flight, where the aircraft crashed on final approach and caught fire, killing eighteen passengers and crew.

Challenging: The 460 metre long runway - less than a tenth of the length of those at international airports - is also situated on a steep incline

And for those looking to scale Mount Everest, Lukla Airport is the nerve rattling start of many expeditions.

Wojciech says: ‘There are two ways to reach the Everest Region – fly 45min from Lukla Airport or hike for approximately five days. Needless to say most of people chose the first option.

‘Tourists are the “golden vain” for local community. They spend money in lodges, hotels and restaurants.

‘Without the airstrip the number of tourists visiting the area will be significantly lower.’

Swimming Baby !!! Stunning Confidence Level !!!

This incredible video,  posted by the proud parents of baby Elizabeth, demonstrates the ability of young children to swim short distances unaided.
The toddler, who has been trained by certified infant swim instructors, shows no hesitation as she paddles across the entire length of her parents’ pool.
Elizabeth always swims under the watchful eyes of her parents, who are both trained emergency workers, and they document her progress in YouTube videos.
This footage of Elizabeth aged 16-months was taken almost a year ago but has recently gone viral, generating fierce debate about teaching young children to swim.
Her parents insist the toddler was never in danger as her father, a nurse trained in CPR, and her mother, a lifeguard and swimming instructor, supervised her at all times.

At no point do we force our child to do anything she is unwilling to try”, one of them wrote in response to critical posts on YouTube, “I was 100% prepared to jump in at first sign of distress”.

According to Chinese officials, the New Century Global Center is the largest freestanding building in the world, and took three years to complete.

‘This is an ocean city built by man,’ Chinese guide Liu Xun told AFP.

He added that the artificial sun built inside the building will provide light and heat 24 hours a day for shoppers exploring the around 400,000 sq. metres of boutiques and stores.

The building sits directly opposite the Chengdu Contemporary Arts Centre, designed by British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, at the heart of a booming area of Chengdu.

Message For The Day….Wisdom is not Something You Acquire From Elsewhere …It is Your Own From your Heart !!!

There is no need to fight against the fundamental delusion of body attachment with overwhelming force and argument. Delusion will disappear, if you just sit quietly for one minute and analyse for yourself your own experience with this transient world.Jnana (Wisdom) is not Apraaptha-praapthi, something that is acquired from somewhere, like the gift of money from a donor to a person who did not have it. Wisdom is Praaptha-Praapthi! It is like forgetting about the ten-rupee note that you kept in a book you were reading. You then lent that book to someone and later asked him for a ten-rupee loan. He just gave it to you from the book, which is your own money. Similarly the Guru brings out t he treasure of wisdom, from your very own hridaya pustaka – book of your heart!

” Have You Ever Helped Your Mother ” ?

One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.

The director discovered from his CV that the youth’s academic achievements were excellent. He asked, “Did you obtain any scholarships in school?” the youth answered “no”.

” Was it your father who paid for your school fees?”

“My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.

” Where did your mother work?”

“My mother worked as clothes cleaner.”

The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

” Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?”

“Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, “I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother’s hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.

The youth cleaned his mother’s hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother’s hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother’s hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his education, his school activities and his future.

After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director’s office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth’s eyes, when he asked: “Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?”

The youth answered,” I cleaned my mother’s hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes’

“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family.

The director said, “This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”

“You are hired.”

This young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and worked as a team. The company’s performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an “entitlement mentality” and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent’s efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, they may be successful for a while, but eventually they would not feel a sense of achievement. They will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead?

You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch on a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

Message For The Day….Thro ‘ Your Own Inner Divine Strength , You Can Achieve Anything !!!

What the world needs is more hard work, done in a spirit of sacrifice, of relinquishing one’s personal comforts to make others happy. Every being has truth, sweetness and Divinity embedded within them. Only they do not take the time to learn how to manifest that latent Divinity, how to realize the Truth and how to taste that innate sweetness. Hence people carry the twin burdens of joy and grief tied to the ends of a single pole slung across their shoulders. Courage is the tonic for getting health and strength, both physical and mental. Give up doubt, hesitation and fear. Never give any chance for these to strike root in your mind. Take the Name of your Favourite Lord and savour it on your tongue – it will help you give up fear and doubt. Through your own inner divine strength, you can achieve anything. You can become God, for sure! Keep the Name of the Lord always on your tongue and in your mind; it will help you give up fear and doubt.
