Youngsters feel that they need more freedom, and they dislike sense control. They think that they should be able to go where they like and live as they please, without any restrictions. Birds and animals enjoy such freedom. There is no rule whatsoever for monkeys and dogs. They wander where they want and do what they please whenever they wish. What is the specialty of human beings? A human being is one who understands what ‘Sveccha’ truly means (generally translated as ‘One’s will’). Sva (Self) + Ichcha (Desires or thoughts) = Sveccha. Living with thoughts relating to the Divine Self (Atma) is Sweccha. Following the demands of the body is not Sweccha. After discriminating good and bad, and right and wrong, you must exercise control over the body, observe the thoughts entertained by the mind and follow that which gives satisfaction to your Divine Nature. That is true freedom.

மனிதன் இயற்கையை மதிக்கத் தவறியதால் தான், இன்று, மழை பெய்வது அரிதாகி விட்டது. ஆனால், அந்தக் காலத்தில் அப்படி இல்லை. புழு, பூச்சியைக் கூட தன் குருவாக நினைத்தான் மனிதன். கடவுளே மானிடப் பிறப்பெடுத்து, இயற்கையை குருவாக ஏற்று, அதனிடமிருந்து பாடம் கற்றுக்கொண்ட கதை தெரியுமா உங்களுக்கு?

அத்திரி முனிவரின் மனைவி அனுசூயா, கணவனின் மனம் அறிந்து நடக்கும் பதிவிரதை, கணவனிடம் மிகுந்த பக்தி கொண்டவள். இவள், மும்மூர்த்திகளின் தரிசனம் வேண்டி, தவமிருந்தாள். இதையறிந்த மும்மூர்த்திகளும் அவள் முன், துறவிகள் வடிவில் வந்தனர். அவளது பெருமையை உலகறியச் செய்வதற்காக, தங்களுக்கு நிர்வாணக் கோலத்தில் பிச்சையிடும்படி வேண்டினர். கற்புத்தெய்வமான அனுசூயா, தன் கணவர் அத்திரி மகரிஷியை மனதில் நினைத்து, அவர்கள் மீது, அவர் பாதத்தைக் கழுவிய தீர்த்தத்தை தெளித்தாள். உடனே, மும்மூர்த்திகளும், மூன்று குழந்தைகளாயினர். அந்தக் குழந்தைகளை அத்திரி மகரிஷி ஒன்று சேர்த்து, தத்தாத்ரேயன் என்று, பெயரிட்டு வளர்த்து வந்தார்.

ஒரு நாள், காட்டிற்கு வேட்டையாட வந்த, யது என்ற மன்னன், காட்டில் தத்தாத்ரேயர் ஆனந்தமாக இருந்ததைக் கண்டு, ஐயனே… உலகில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஏதாவது ஒரு கவலையுடன் வாழுந்து வரும் நிலையில், நீங்களோ வெகு ஆனந்தமாக இருக்கிறீர்களே… உங்களுக்கு இத்தகைய ஆனந்த மார்க்கத்தை கற்றுக் கொடுத்த குரு யார், எனக்கும் கூறுங்கள்… என்று, கேட்டான். எனக்கு ஒன்றல்ல பல குருமார்கள் இருக்கின்றனர். அதில், இந்த பூமிதான் முதல் குரு; இதனிடமிருந்து பொறுமையையும், பிறருக்கு நன்மை செய்வதையும் கற்றேன். தண்ணீரிடமிருந்து, சுத்தத்தைக் கற்றேன். எல்லாரிடமும் பழகினாலும், யாரிடமும் பற்று வைக்காத குணத்தை, காற்றிடம் படித்தேன்.  பரந்து விரிந்திருந்தாலும், எதனிடமும் தொடர்பு இல்லாதது வானம். அந்த தொடர்பற்ற நிலையை ஆகாயமே எனக்கு தெரிவித்தது. ஒரே சூரியன் என்றாலும், எல்லா குடங்களின் நீரிலும் பிரதிபலிப்பது போல, பல சரீரங்களை ஒரே ஆத்மா எடுப்பதைப் பார்த்தேன். வேடனின் வலையில் சிக்கிய புறாக்களைப் பார்த்து, தானும் சிக்கிய தாய் புறாவைப் பார்த்து, பாசபந்தமே துன்பத்திற்கு காரணம் என, உணர்ந்தேன்.

உணவுக்காக தூண்டிலில் சிக்கிய மீனைப் பார்த்து, ஆசையே சுதந்திரத்தை இழப்பதற்கு காரணம் என்பதை, அறிந்தேன். தேனீக்கள் சேர்த்த தேனை, யாரோ ஒருவன் கொண்டு போனதைப் பார்த்து, பொருளை தானம் செய்ய வேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தை உணர்ந்தேன். உணவுக்காக அங்கும் இங்கும் அலையாமல் இருந்த இடத்திலிருந்த படியே கிடைக்கும் உணவைக் கொண்டு திருப்தியடையும் மலைப்பாம்பைப் போல், நானும் திருப்திப்பட வேண்டும் என, உணர்ந்தேன்… என்று, அடுக்கிக் கொண்டே போனார். பார்த்தீர்களா… இயற்கை நமக்கு நன்மைகளை மட்டுமல்ல, உலகவியல் வாழ்வுக்கும் ஆசானாக இருக்கிறது. இயற்கையின் ஒவ்வொரு அம்சத்தையும் கருத்தூன்றி பார்ப்பதுடன், பாதுகாக்கவும் செய்யுங்கள். தத்தாத்ரேயர் ஜெயந்தி, வைகாசி தசமியன்று நடக்கும். கோவை மாவட்டம் குமாரலிங்கம் கிராமத்தில், தத்தாத்ரேயருக்கு கோவில் உள்ளது. பழநியிலிருந்து, 21 கி.மீ., உடுமலையிலிருந்து, 18 கி.மீ., தூரத்தில் இவ்வூர் உள்ளது.

Drone Delivers Pizza @ Mumbai !!!

  Mumbai, notorious for its traffic snarls, has achieved a first in the country after a city-based pizza outlet used an unmanned drone to execute a delivery by taking the aerial route recently.

“All of us had read about (global e-commerce giant) Amazon’s plans of using drones. We successfully carried out a test-delivery by sending a pizza to a customer located 1.5 km away from our outlet on May 11,” Francesco’s Pizzeria chief executive Mikhel Rajani said.

He stressed that this was only a test-flight but its results confirm that it can be used routinely in a few years.

A four-rotor drone took off with the order from its outlet in central Mumbai’s Lower Parel area and delivered it to a high-rise building in adjacent Worli area, Rajani said, claiming that it is for the first time that the ubiquitous drone has been used for such a purpose in the country.

The eatery, which has been in operations for two years, has made a video of the delivery, he said, adding an auto engineer friend helped with making the flight possible.

Rajani, who comes from a family that is into textiles, said the drone saves time and costs for a company like his, which would otherwise depend on a two-wheeler borne agent to deliver the pizzas.

“What we have done now will be common place in the next four-five years,” he said, adding every such customised drone costs around USD 2,000.

At present, there are certain restrictions on the regulatory front like the drone not allowed to fly above 400 feet altitude and barred from flying over security establishments, he said, adding the American Federal Aviation Authority’s regulations on usage of drones, expected next year, will help.

Apart from that there are technical difficulties like a limited operating radius of 8 km after which the batteries go dry, he said, adding proper infrastructure like having charging stations can help.

Even though the four-rotor version drone had a limited carrying capacity, he said the payload capacity can be increased to up to 8 kg in case of a an eight-rotor drone.

Message For the Day…” It is Essential to Listen to Spiritual Discourses again and again…”

A true devotee would never get disgusted at any point of time, nor get bored, tired or vexed listening to the same teachings. You may perhaps be hearing the same message over and over again from Bhagawan! How do you rationalize this? Don’t you take food repeatedly for the same stomach, several times during your lifetime? Don’t you wash the same face many times in a week? That music, which you consider as pleasurable, don’t you listen to it, many times frequently? Consider an even simpler example: you drink coffee or tea – have you ever got bored of it, despite consuming it for 15 or 20 years? You perhaps wait for that cup with excitement and enthusiasm, and will even get a headache if it is delayed by a couple of minutes! Similarly, it is essential to listen to such spiritual instructions, ruminate and experience the joy of devotion without the slightest feeling of disinterestedness.

’’தண்ணீருக்காக மூன்றாம் உலகப் போர் அல்ல.. உள்நாட்டுக்குள்ளேயே யுத்தம் தொடங்கிவிட்டது. ஆனாலும், நாம் நீர் ஆதாரங்களை பாதுகாக்க தவறிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்’’ என்கிறார் பியூஷ் மானுஷ்.

ராஜஸ்தானை பூர்வீகமாகக் கொண்டது பியூஷ் மானுஷின் குடும்பம். பியூஷ் பிறந்தது சேலம் என்பதால் அவர் தமிழராகவே மாறிவிட்டார். முற்போக்கு சிந்தனை கொண்ட பியூஷ் கல்லூரியில் படிக்கும்போதே கல்வி தனியார் மயமாவதை எதிர்த்து போராட்டம் நடத்தினார்.

விளைவு, இரண்டாம் ஆண்டிலேயே வீட்டுக்கு வழியனுப்பப்பட்டார். படித்தது போதும் என முடிவுக்கு வந்தவர், மக்களைப் படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். அப்புறம் நடந்தவைகளை அவரே நம்மிடம் விவரிக்கிறார்.

’’குடிக்க தண்ணீர் கிடைக்காமல் தவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் மக்களிடம் குடிநீர் ஆதாரங்களை பாதுகாப்பது குறித்து அக்கறை இல்லை. இதனால் தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள் தண்ணீர் தேசங்களை பாலைவனமாக மாற்றிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. சேலத்தைச் சுற்றி கிரானைட், பாக்சைட் கம்பெனிகள் சுரங்கம் அமைத்து 28 சதுர கிலோ மீட்டர் ஏரியாவை செயற்கை பாலைவனமாக ஆக்கிவிட்டார்கள். இங்கு ஓடிய 5 ஆறுகளை காணவே இல்லை. ஒன்றிலிருந்து ஒன்று நிரம்பும் வகையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட 30 சங்கிலித் தொடர் ஏரி கட்டமைப்பை நாசம் பண்ணிவிட்டார்கள்.

இயற்கைக்கு எதிரான இந்த அழிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை கண்டித்து கடந்த 10 வருடங்களாக போராடுகிறோம். போராட்டம் மட்டுமே பிரச்சினைக்கு தீர்வாகாது என்பதால் ஏரிகளை தூர்வாரும் பணிகளையும் தொடங்கினோம். எங்களது ’சேலம் மக்கள் குழு’வில் சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் 70 பேர் இருக்கிறோம். முதலில், 58 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவுள்ள சேலம் மூக்கனேரியை தூர்வாரி ஏரிக்குள் 48 திட்டுக்களை அமைத்தோம். ஒவ்வொரு திட்டிலும் 300 மரக்கன்றுகளை நட்டோம். ஒரே வருடத்தில் மரங்கள் வளர்ந்து இப்போது அங்கே பறவைகள் சரணாலயமே உருவாகிவிட்டது. இப்போது அந்த ஏரிக்கரையில் பூங்கா அமைக்கும் பணி நடக்கிறது.

இந்தப் பணிகள் அனைத்துமே சேலம் மக்களிடமிருந்து சிறுகச் சிறுகச் சேர்த்த நிதியிலிருந்துதான் செய்து முடித்திருக்கிறோம். தண்ணீர் பிடிப்பு பகுதிகளை பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகத்தான் மலைகள் மீது முருகனை உட்கார வைத்தோம். ஆனால், பணத்தாசை பிடித்தவர்கள் அந்த மலைகளையே உடைத்து விற்று காசாக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இதைத் தடுக்க வேண்டிய பொறுப்பும் கடமையும் அனைவருக்கும் இருக்கிறது.

மாரியாத்தா கோயிலுக்கு ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் செலவு செய்து கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடத்துகிறார்கள். நீர்நிலைகள்தான் உண்மையான மாரி. அவைகளை சீரமைக்க எத்தனை கோடிகளை வேண்டுமானாலும் செலவழிக்கலாம். அதனால்தான் நாங்கள் தூர்வாரி செப்பனிட்ட ஏரிகளுக்கு ’மாரி ஸ்தலம்’ என்று பெயர் வைத்திருக்கிறோம். இதைப்போல் ’மாரி ஸ்தலங்கள்’ எல்லா ஊர்களிலும் உருவாக வேண்டும்’’ என்று கூறி பிரமிக்க வைத்தார் பியூஷ் மானுஷ்.

Desires are a source of pleasure for man, but they are also the cause of grief. The mind has to be brought under control. Even thousands of men cannot hold back a fast-moving train. But the train comes to a stop the moment brake is applied. The same applies to the vagaries of the mind. When the mind is controlled, all sorrows cease. The Divine Atma, which dwells in the heart of every human being, is not recognized because it is covered by the clouds of desire. The splendour of the sun is revealed when a wind drives away the clouds that hide the sun. Likewise, when the wind of love blows away the clouds of desire in the heart, the ego (‘I’ ness) and possessiveness (sense of ‘mine’) are driven out and the effulgence of the Atma within is revealed in all its glory.

திரைப் பிரபலங்களின் சமூக வலைதள செயல்பாடுகள் அவ்வபோது பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தி வருவது இப்போது வழக்கமாகிவிட்டது. சர்ச்சைக்காக மட்டுமின்றி, சில நல்ல விஷயங்களும் பிரபலமாகி வருகின்றன.

உடலில் ஆடைகளின்றி, போராடத் தெம்பின்றி, ரத்தம் கசிய இருவரும் ரோட்டோரத்தில் கிடந்தனர். அப்போதும் அந்த இளைஞர் அவ்வழியே சென்ற கார்களை தடுத்து நிறுத்தி உதவி கோர முயன்றார். தனது தோழியின் உடலை மூட ஒரு சால்வை வேண்டி வழியில் வந்தவர்களிடம் கெஞ்சினார். அவர் கோரியது 40 நிமிட போரட்டத்திற்கு பின்னர்தான் கிடைத்தது.

தொடர்ந்து தன் தோழியை மருத்துவமனைக்கு எடுத்துச் சென்று சேர்த்து, போலீஸுக்கு தகவல் தந்து, தோழியின் பெற்றோர்களை அழைத்து, அந்த நேரத்திற்கு தேவையான எல்லா உதவியையும் ஓர் உண்மையான நண்பராகச் செய்தார். அந்த இளைஞரால் எளிதாக அந்தப் பேருந்திலிருந்து தப்பித்திருக்க முடியும். ஆனால், அவர் அப்படிச் செய்யவில்லை. தோழியை அப்படியே ரோட்டில் தவிக்க விட்டுச் சென்றிருக்க முடியும். செல்லவில்லை. (நிர்பயாவின் தந்தை வெட்கமின்றி உத்தரப் பிரதேச முதல்வரிடமிருந்து 25 லட்ச ரூபாய் நிதியும், தனது மகனுக்கு வேலையும், இன்னும் தன் மகளின் பெயரில் வந்த எத்தனையோ சலுகைகளையும் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.)

இந்தச் சம்பவத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து ஊடகங்கள் இதற்குத் தந்த வெளிச்சத்தில் புகழும் பணமும் சம்பாதித்திருக்க முடியும். அதையும் அந்த இளைஞர் செய்யவில்லை. தனது சிகிச்சைக்கு அரசாங்கத்திடமிருந்து நிதி பெறவில்லை. செய்தி ஊடகங்களில் அடிக்கடி பணத்திற்காக தோன்றி பேசியிருக்கலாம். அதையும் தவிர்த்தார். இது நட்பு இல்லையென்றால் வேறு எதை நட்பு என்று சொல்லுவது?

ஒரு தேசமே ஒரு பெண்ணுக்காக வெகுண்டபோது, அந்தப் பெண்ணின் நண்பர் அந்த இரவில் செய்த எதைப் பற்றியும் யாரும் நினைத்துக்கூட பார்க்கவில்லை. அந்த இளைஞர் திரை நட்சத்திரமோ, கிரிக்கெட் வீரரோ அல்ல, அவரது பெயர் அவிந்த்ர பிரதாப் பாண்டே. உத்திரப் பிரதேசம் கோர்க்‌ஷாபூரைச் சேர்ந்த இவர் தன் தோழியை உண்மையாக நேசித்தார். இப்படி ஒரு நண்பர் இருக்கும்போது ஏன் அமெரிக்கர்களை காப்பியடித்து ஆகஸ்ட் 3-ஆம் தேதி நண்பர்கள் தினத்தை நாம் கொண்டாட வேண்டும்?

அவிந்த்ராவை பெருமைப்படுத்தும் வகையில், உண்மையான நட்பு எது என்று காட்டிய அவரது மன உறுதியை கௌரவப்படுத்தும் வகையில் இந்தியாவில், நண்பர்கள் தினத்தை டிசம்பர் 16-ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாட வேண்டும். இதை அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவிக்க வேண்டும். நான் சொல்வது சரியா? ஆம் என்றால் இதைப் பகிருங்கள், உங்களது கருத்துக்களையும் இங்கே தெரிவியுங்கள்” என்று வெங்கட்பிரபு எழுதியுள்ளார்.

All human activities must be undertaken with the sole aim of pleasing God. To attain such exalted heights, you must acquire true spiritual knowledge. Spiritual wisdom aids in subduing the senses. Ravana learnt 64 disciplines of education and was an expert in many fields. However he has been labeled foolish and ignorant. Why? He was a slave to the senses. Rama, though learnt only 32 disciplines, subdued His senses and hence is exalted even today. Learning from this, all educated people must realize that a truly knowledgeable person is one who gained control over their senses. People who accomplished this significant inner victory are excellent examples portraying clearly the element of devotion.

Are you aware that you have six flames burning inside you? They are lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride and hatred. They can emerge any time. What do you have in store to put them out? Always keep a ready stock of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence in plenty. These five will help you scotch the flames of your six enemies, whenever they are lit; these values are very effective extinguishers.

There was a farmer who had a horse and a goat.


One day, the horse became ill and he called the veterinarian, who said: Well, your horse has a virus. He must take this medicine for three days. I’ll come back on the 3rd day and if he’s not better, we’re going to have to put him down.

Nearby, the goat listened closely to their conversation.

The next day, they gave him the medicine and left.

The goat approached the horse and said: Be strong, my friend. Get up or else they’re going to put you to sleep!

On the second day, they gave him the medicine and left.

The goat came back and said: Come on buddy, get up or else you’re going to die! Come on, I’ll help you get up. Let’s go! One, two, three…

On the third day, they came to give him the medicine and the vet said: Unfortunately, we’re going to have to put him down tomorrow. Otherwise, the virus might spread and infect the other horses.
