Karla Mialynne Show Her True Colors…

As a very talented painter, Karla Mialynne often gets asked how she creates the her paintings, and what she uses to bring them to life. And so, in order to shed a bit more light on the subject, she now takes photos of her works with the tools she used to create them. As you see, her main tools are watercolor pencils, colored markers and acrylic paint, all combined to give her paintings vivid colors and incredible realism and beauty.

Message For the Day… ” World Today Needs Practical Knowledge ..Not Bookish Knowledge …”

The bookish knowledge that many feverishly acquire is relevant only for the day of the exam. As you enter your professions armed with this knowledge, you will soon discover that you only have superficial knowledge on any subject and your general knowledge is almost zero. Without general knowledge and practical wisdom, you cannot discriminate. World today needs practical knowledge. Water is formed from two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen. You can prove this in the laboratory. But when you sit for lunch, do you mix two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen to drink water? By sipping just a drop, you can even comment on the purity of the water and its taste. Thus discrimination and general knowledge is very essential to make sure your daily life and behavior does not have any lapses. You must experience the enjoyable life in the right way at the right time.

மனைவி ஹிரா மணியுடன் வெற்றிச் சின்னத்தை காட்டும் சியாம் சரண் நேகி.
இமாசலப் பிரதேசத்தின் கின்னார் மாவட்டத்தின் மக்களவைத் தொகுதியில் புதன்கிழமை வாக்களித்தார் 97 வயது சியாம் சரண் நேகி. இந்தத் தேர்தலில் இந்தத் தொகுதியைப் பொறுத்தவரையில் நரேந்திர மோடியோ ராகுல் காந்தியோ அர்விந்த் கேஜ்ரிவாலோ கதாநாயகன் அல்ல. நேகிதான். காரணம் சுதந்திர இந்தியாவில் நடந்த முதல் பொதுத் தேர்தல் முதல் ஒன்றுவிடாமல் தவறாமல் வாக்களித்து வருகிறார் நேகி.

ஜனநாயகத்தின் உண்மை யான மன்னர்கள் மக்கள்தான் என்பதை நிரூபிக்கும் கோடானுகோடி இந்தியர்களில் நேகி முதன்மையானவர். தான் வசிக்கும் கல்பா என்ற இடத்திலிருந்து சுமார் ஒரு கிலோ மீட்டர் தொலைவில் இருக்கும் வாக்குச் சாவடிக்கு வந்தபோது அவருக்கு உற்சாகமான வரவேற்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. வெண்ணிற முடியும் சுருக்கம் விழுந்த சருமங்களும் இந்திய வாக்காளர்களில் அவர்தான் பீஷ்ம பிதாமகர் என்பதைச் சொல்லாமல் சொல்லின. உடன் அவருடைய 87 வயது மனைவி ஹிரா மணியும் வந்தார்.

இமாசல மாநிலத்துக்கே உரிய பாரம்பரிய தொப்பி அணிந்திருந்த நேகி வாக்களித்துவிட்டு மை தோய்ந்த கையை தொலைக்காட்சி கேமராக்களுக்குக் காட்டினார்.

அதிகம் கேள்விப்பட்டிராத ஒரு கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பள்ளிக்கூட ஆசிரியர் நேகி, நவ இந்தியாவை உருவாக்கும் சிற்பிகளில் ஒருவரானதுதான் சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் வரலாறு.

1951-ம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் மாதம் கடுமையான குளிரில் பாதையெல்லாம் பனிபெய்து மூடியிருக்க நாட்டின் முதல் பொதுத் தேர்தலில் முதல் வாக்காளராக வாக்களித்தவர்தான் சியாம் சரண் நேகி. அப்போது அவருக்கு வயது 34. 1952 பொதுத் தேர்தல் முதல் கட்டமாக 1951-லேயே இமாசலத்தில் தொடங்கியது. பிற மாநிலங்களில் தேர்தல் நடக்கும் போது இமாசலத்தில் கடும் குளிர்காலமாக இருக்கும் என்பதாலும் அது வேட்பாளர் களுக்கும் வாக்குச்சாவடி அதிகாரி களுக்கும் பெரிய இடை யூறாக இருக்கும் என்பதாலும் தேர்தல் அங்கு முன்கூட்டியே நடந்தது.

அறுபது ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகும் அந்த நாளை நேகி மறக்கவில்லை. சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் பொதுத் தேர்தலில் முதல் வாக்காளராக வாக்கைப் பதிவுசெய்துவிட்டோம் என்ற மகிழ்ச்சியும் பெருமையும் கர்வமும் நேகிக்கு ஏற்பட்டது. அதை இப்போதும் அவருடைய முகத்தில் பார்க்க முடிகிறது.

ஜனநாயகத்தில் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையுள்ள நேகி, ஒரு தேர்தலிலும் வாக்களிக்காமல் இருந்ததில்லை. வயோதிகம் வளைத்துவிட்ட முதுகை, வாலிப உற்சாகத்தோடு நிமிர்த்தி, கையில் கோலுடன் நடந்து வருகிறார் நேகி. “மழையோ, பனியோ எது வந்தாலும் வாக்களிக்கத் தவறி யதே இல்லை” என்று கூறுகிறார்.

வாக்குச் சாவடிக்கு காலை யிலேயே வந்த வாக்காளர்களில் நேகியும் அவருடைய மனைவியும் ஒருவர். வாக்களித்த பிறகு நிருபர் களைச் சந்தித்த நேகி, “இந்த முறை யும் தவறாமல் என்னுடைய மதிப்பு மிக்க வாக்கைச் செலுத்தி விட்டேன்” என்று அறிவித்தார்.

” எனக்கு புடவை கொடு… புடவை கொடு …. “

ஒரு தடவை ஆந்திராவில் மகா பெரியவா முகாமிட்டு இருந்தபோது நடந்த சம்பவம் இது. வழக்கமான பூஜை நேரம். மகான் சிறிய காமாட்சி உருவசிலையை முன்னால் வைத்து பூஜையை ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டார.

அந்த நேரத்தில் எங்கிருந்தோ வந்த ஒருத்தி ஏகமாக சத்தமிட்டு கொண்டு ‘எனக்கு புடவை கொடு… புடவை கொடு!’ என்று கூவினாள், ரகளை செய்தாள்.

அவள் உடலில் பழைய புடவை ஒன்று கந்தல் கந்தலாக காட்சியளித்தது. அவளின் இடது முழங்காலுக்கு மேலே புடவை கொஞ்சம் பெரிதாகவே கிழிந்திருந்தது

‘பூஜை நேரத்தில் இப்படி ஒரு தொலையா?’ என்று பெரியவாளின் சிஷ்யர்கள் அவளை அங்கே இருந்து விரட்ட தொடங்கினார்கள்.

அமைதியாக அவளை பார்த்த மகான், அவர்களை பார்த்து கையமர்த்திவிட்டு, ஒரு புடவையை கொண்டு வர சொல்லி, அதை தட்டில் பழங்களோடு வைத்து அவளிடம் கொடுத்தார். புடவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்ட அவள் அங்கிருந்து வேகமாக போய்விட்டாள்.

அங்கிருந்த சிஷ்யர்களில் ஒருவருக்கு மனதில் ஏதோ சந்தேகம். அவள் பின்னாலேயே வேகமாக போனார். ஆள் நடமாட்டம் குறைந்த இடத்தில அந்த சிஷ்யர் கடந்த போது, அவர் கன்னத்தில் யாரோ ‘பளீர்’ என்று அறைந்தது போலிருந்தது!

அங்கேயே மயங்கி விழுந்தவர் பெரியவா இருந்த இடத்துக்கு வர சற்று நேரமாயிற்று.

‘என்னடா… புடவை என்னாச்சுனு பார்க்க போனியோ? வந்தவ அம்பாள்டா மடையா’ என்று தன் முன்னே இருந்த விக்ரகத்தை சுட்டி காட்டினார் மகா பெரியவா. வந்தவளின் உடலில் புடவை எங்கு கிழிந்திருந்ததோ, அதே இடத்தில தான் தேவியின் சிலையில் உடுத்தப்பட்டிருந் சேலையும் கிழிந்திருந்தது!

தனக்கு என்ன தேவை என்று மகானிடம் நேரில் கேட்டு பெரும் வழக்கத்தை அந்த அம்பாள் கடைப்பிடித்து வந்திருக்கிறாள்!

There may be many people who use education and influence to earn money, but truly great people have upheld the highest morality in their lives. You must be prepared to sacrifice. Sacrifice does not mean relinquishing your possessions. It means working really hard to earn a good name in the society you live in and bringing a good name to where you were raised. Your good name will last longer, and it will be eternal and permanent only with sacrifice. Scriptures explain the supremacy of sacrifice declaring, ‘sacrifice alone leads one to immortality’ (Tyagenaike Amrutathwa Manuashuhu).

8 Million Flower Petals Rain Down on a Village !!!

A glorious eruption of vibrantly-colored flower petals – 8 million of them – has flooded through a small village in Costa Rica. The surreal and beautiful sight is part of SONY’s advertisement campaign for their new 4K Ultra HD line of TV sets.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about this advertisement stunt is that these billowing waves of petals are real. It took the creative team behind the endeavor and the inhabitants of the village more than two weeks to collect the 8 million flower petals used, which ended up weighing about 3.5 tons.

A British special effects team brought various wind machines to blow the petals around and create the amazing sights in the video. Some visual effects were added, but director Jaron Albertin assures us that as much of the video as possible is real. Sony’s behind-the-scenes video also indicates that all of the petals were either real or from some biodegradable material. The video was commissioned by the McCann advertising agency, and photographer Nick Meek shot photos of the whole affair.

The reason the video uses 8 million flower petals is because that’s the number of pixels on the 4K TV’s screen. The video will be used to demonstrate this new ultra-high-definition screen’s sharp display and color capabilities.

Message For the Day…” Our Heart is Like a Piece of Land to be Cultivated with Care and Love…”

To cultivate a piece of land, the farmer works really long and hard. First, he has to soften the entire piece of land. He must then plough it, sow the seeds and water it regularly. After that, the crop has to grow to a certain stage, and to aid that, he needs to use fertilizers and remove the weeds at regular intervals. Only after all this, will he be able to bring home the food grains. That is exactly what we have to do with our hearts too. The heart is like a piece of land to be cultivated, and we must cultivate it with utmost care and concern. It must be watered with the water of love. Using the plough of enquiry, you must plough it and sow the seed of the Name of God, and then guard it very vigilantly using the fence of caution and care. You must protect it with egolessness, then you will receive the fruit of love.
