Message For The Day….Ensure Your Children Learning Good Habits Right From Childhood !!!

Parents and teachers must see that children learn good habits and attitudes in their formative years. What is read from books must be contemplated upon and reflected upon in silence and quietness. This is a very good exercise in intellectual development and in the acquisition of mental peace. The instinct to quarrel and fight over any and all misunderstandings must be regulated and sublimated. You should not cause children to suffer mental anguish or physical pain! Children also should not enjoy the infliction of pain on any being. They must be brought up with a sense of responsibility. They should be taught not to take delight in showing off their dress, ornaments, status or wealth before the less fortunate. They must be taught from early on, habits of personal cleanliness and most importantly, the habit of prayer at regular hours.

Meet the 18 Year old Lion Tamer Shandor !!!

While most teenagers are playing computer games, Shandor Larenty likes to indulge in a different pastime – taming lions.

The 18-year-old has built up an unbreakable rapport with 250kg Zavu – stroking, hugging and playing together at home in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The pair are now so comfortable with each other Shandor is even able to give the huge cat a foot rub.

In the family: The teenager's wildlife expert father Alex was famously pictured also giving a foot rub to another lion named Jamu

The teenager, who is originally from Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, said: ‘I’ve grown up doing this – it is something I love.

‘My friends think I’m a little bit crazy going in with a fully grown lion.’

Third-generation lion tamer Shandor showed early signs of carrying on the family tradition – interacting with elephants aged just 13-months-old.

His first big cat encounter was with a cheetah aged 11 and he has never looked back.

‘A lot of the lions that I work with were born when I started learning, so I’ve grown up with them,’ Shandor said.

‘Zavu is a special lion because he absolutely loves me and we are best friends.

‘He loves to be cuddled and be centre of attention. One of his favourite things though is the foot massage.’

The move mimics a technique his wildlife expert father, Alex, 54, perfected with fellow male lion Jamu.

Alex, who relocated to South Africa in 1999 from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, has been passing on his lion taming skills to Shandor so he can continue the family’s business of supplying big cats for TV shows and movies.

Shandor, speaking from the family’s dedicated South African Lion park in Johannesburg, added: ‘My dad has always encouraged me to go into the wildlife field since I was a toddler.

‘He is my mentor. Everything I’ve learnt about working with these animals has come from him.’

Despite the risks involved Shandor doesn’t fear working with one of nature’s most dangerous hunters – and uses just a feeble stick for protection should things go wrong.

Cute: Shandor cuddles up to a lion cub in Johannesburg

He said: ‘Lions are extremely powerful. A male can weigh up to 250kg and have a jaw pressure of one tonne per square inch. Those teeth are very long and could do a lot of damage.

‘An animal could turn on me and I would end up dead, but with my dad’s experience it is very unlikely that would happen.

‘I’m pretty confident going in with the lions now. The key is to show you aren’t scared because they will take advantage of it if you are.

‘When you go in with them you have to make sure you can stand your ground.’

Proud father Alex added: ‘You never know if your kids are going to follow in our footsteps, but I think it is great that he has. He’s now doing virtually what I am doing.

‘I do fear for his safety sometimes but then that’s why I’m there. You train these lions to do all sorts of things, but you can’t train them not to eat you.

‘He’s still learning his trade, but for someone his age he is doing extremely well. I’ve got to watch my job, he’s after it.’

Message For The Day…Be Happy When People Around You Are Happy !!!

The first step in samskara (refinement) is to remove dirt from the mind. Know that envy is the stickiest dirt. You must be happy, when people around you are happy. That is the true test. The Ramayana says that Lord Rama was happy when joyous events happened to others around, as if they happened to Him. Krishna describes Arjuna as An-asuya(envy-less). What a great compliment to receive from the Master Himself! That is why Lord Krishna taught the mysteries of spiritual discipline to Arjuna. Have deep Love for the Lord. But be very careful not to become depressed with envy when others also love Him or get His attention and become attached to Him. Always be vigilant to have love without envy.

” It is All Fishy !!!….Hear the Other side of The Story Before You Conclude !!! “

It’s a photo that never fails to shock new visitors to an Australian pub.

A man swallowed by a shark has managed to force his arm through the creature’s gills and is desperately stabbing it.

Presumably still alive inside the shark’s stomach, he is able to plunge the knife into the its head in a desperate fight for survival.

Desperate fight for survival? A picture appears to show a man swallowed whole by a shark frantically trying to release himself by forcing his arm through the creature’s gills and stabbing it in the head

In fact the photo has proved to be quite stomach-churning for all who see it for the first time when they walk into the Metung Hotel, in the Gippsland region of Victoria.

But all is not as it seems.

The unnamed fisherman did catch the shark and he did end up in its stomach.

But first he made sure the shark was very dead before he gutted it and then crawled inside its body to prepare for a prank photo that would be taken by one of his friends.

The dramatic part came when he then pushed his tattooed arm out through the shark’s gills and pretended to be fighting for his life by stabbing the killer fish in the head.

Locals, said radio host John Burns of Melbourne’s 3AW, who was sent a copy of the photo, refer to the fisherman as the Shark Slayer.

‘This fellow has decided as a jape to climb inside the shark with a knife, put his hand through the gills of the shark and pretended to stab it between the eyes,’ Mr Burns told his listeners today.
He then went on to describe the reaction of one pair of visitors.

‘An American couple have turned up at the Metung Hotel to see this photo (on the wall) and their immediate response from the wife was “Did he survive?”,’ said Mr Burns.

The fisherman happened to be standing behind the couple at the time.

Although his response is not known, the Americans might have had the shock of their lives if he’d said: ‘Yes, I did!’

Message For The Day….Fruit of Service is The Removal Of Egoism !!!

The women of a country should be happy, healthy and holy. Every woman has a very crucial role to play in their individual uplift and the uplift of their homes and societies around them. Young girls and women alike should learn the technique of mental calm, social harmony and contentment with their livelihood. They should also know that joy can be attained only through service to those in need and in distress without any expectation of the benefits that may follow from the kindness shared. They should learn to lay aside the egoism that poisons the service activities. Even those serving for years tend to extol and promote themselves as the founders of institutions and guardians of the poor and needy. The benefit and joy from any act of service is the act itself. The fruit of service is the removal of egoism, not its multiplication.

What Happens In ONE Minute on The Internet !!!!

In just a single minute on the web 216,000 photos are shared on Instagram, a total of £54,000 ($83,000) sales take place on Amazon, there are 1.8 million likes on Facebook and three days worth of video is uploaded to YouTube.

Cashback site Qmee has created an infographic that shows this information as well as how many tweets are sent, photos are viewed, Skype calls are made, domains are registered and more in 60 seconds.

The graphic pulls information and figures from PC Mag, Business Insider and other sites to create a the snapshot.

Qmee Online in 60 Seconds Infographic

Google performs 2 million searches each minute and 72 hours worth of video is uploaded to YouTube within the space of 60 seconds.

The infographic also claims that 70 new domains are registered and 571 new website are created within a minute online, at the same time there are 1.8 million likes on Facebook, 204 million emails sent and 278,000 tweets posted.

Go-Globe.com designed a similar graphic in June last year. By comparison, the amount of emails sent has increased by 36million a minute.

There are almost four times more Google searches than a year ago, and 180,000 more tweets are sent.

YouTube video uploads have increased from 25 hours up to three days.

Relatives and friends now spend the equivalent of 1.4 million minutes chatting over Skype, compared to 370,000 minutes last year.

Facebook figures appear to have dropped, however. This year there are on average 41,000 status updates every second – 246,000 a minute – whereas according to Go-Globe’s figures, this time last year the figure was in excess of 695,000.

Exactly the same amount of domain names were created per minute in 2012 and 2013 according to the graphics.

Cashback site Qmee has created an infographic that shows how many tweets are sent, Facebook posts are liked, Skype calls are made and YouTube videos are viewed in a single minute across the internet.

It used information and figures from PC Mag, Business Insider and other sites to create a 60-second snapshot.

The two graphics did not use exactly the same data sources meaning that the relationship is not directly comparable but it does give an indication about which sites and services are soaring and which are staying the same, or losing favour.

The increase in posts across social networks has also seen an increase of what’s been dubbed ‘Twinglish’.

Social media monitoring company Brandwatch found that one in every 150 English words used on Twitter is spelt incorrectly.

On Facebook, one in 323 words are spelt incorrectly, on Google+ it’s one in 238 and one in 556 words is incorrect on online forums.

Women also favour the use of elongated words  such as ‘sooooo’ and ‘loool’ on social networks.

Dancing Bears !!! View From Hidden Cameras !!!

North America may be full of bears, but it is rare for people ever to get close enough to observe them in their natural environment.

So these pictures by a hidden camera in a Canadian park, are  a unique opportunity to see how wildlife behave when they are not in the presence of humans.

And the result may be surprising – because the bears appear to be pole-dancing around a tree in the middle of the woods.

Pose: The unusual positions taken by the animals are reminiscent of human pole-dancing

Part of it was made with a normal camera, and part with a night-vision lens, so that it captures wildlife at play 24 hours a day.

Over a number of days in May and June this year, a variety of animals including deer and black bears approached the tree which the camera was trained on.
Bounce: Some have compared the bears' antics to the popular dance move twerking

Pioneer: This grizzly was the first bear to discover the therapeutic effects of the tree in Kananaskis Country

Bandwagon: A black bear also joined in the fun by going to scratch its back on the tree

But rangers really hit the jackpot when a family of grizzly bears discovered the tree and adopted it as their latest plaything.

When the first bear arrived, he began scratching his back against the bark.

This apparently produced such a pleasant sensation that he spread the news to other grizzlies, and before long they were all checking out the tree.
Wildlife: This deer was another animal to be caught on the rangers' camera in late May and early June

At one point, as many as four bears were vying to grab a spot on the tree – and their vigorous motion made it look as though they were pole-dancing.

The video of still images edited together and set to an upbeat soundtrack by Ewan Dobson was uploaded to YouTube by Alberta parks offficials.

It has garnered more than 200,000 views in less than a week as viewers flocked to enjoy the wild antics.

Message For The Day….Any Grief can be Cured Thro Medicine Prescribed in The Vedas !!!

If only the culture which is based on the Vedas, and expounded in the Ramayana and the Bhagavatha, is practised with a true understanding of its value, people can ensure for themselves perpetual joy or bliss. The Vedas exhort: Sathyam Vada; Dharmam Chara (Speak the truth; practise righteousness). What is Sathyam and Dharmam? The Ramayana and the Bhagavatha reveal this knowledge through story and example so that anyone, however poor or illiterate they may be, can understand, practice it and benefit by it. Grief is the illness; it has to be cured. The medicine is prescribed in the Vedas; it is taught in the scriptures; it has to be discovered and taken in; then the experience of bliss will certainly follow. Of this, there is no doubt.
