A truck driver is driving along on the freeway. A sign comes up that reads “Low Bridge Ahead.” Before he knows it, the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under it. Cars are backed up for miles. Finally, a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks around to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, “Got stuck, huh?” The truck driver says, “No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas.”

Message For the Day…” Happiness Has No Value Unless There Is also Sorrow …”

Rama chose to go to the forest to fulfill the pledge of His father. It may be asked: Did He go to the forest under any compulsion or out of His own resolve, or with a sense of dissatisfaction? No. Rama set out for the forest with the same sense of serenity and joy with which He looked forward to His coronation. Rama demonstrated the spirit of equanimity. He showed that pain or pleasure, profit or loss, victory or defeat, were the same to Him. In human life, pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow alternate all the time. It is not a good quality to welcome pleasure and turn away pain. You must welcome sorrow in the same joyous spirit in which you greet happiness. Happiness has no value unless there is also sorrow. That is why it is said, “Pleasure is not secured from pleasure.” Pain is needed to secure pleasure. Rama demonstrated to the world the truth of this concept.

Message For the Day…” Honour Your Elders and Serve Them With Smile “….

Students and youngsters must have challenging attitude towards things and honour physical labour. You must be eager to be of service to those who need it on account of their disabilities. Honour your elders and do not miss any chance of serving or pleasing them. Whatever gives you health and joy, welcome it – but do not lower yourself by indulging in vulgar pastimes. Do not wander aimlessly in the streets or frequent cinema halls and mix with undesirable company, or cultivate bad habits for fun. Remember that you must raise your motherland to great heights through your hard work and effort. When you develop such virtues, the nation will prosper.

Mysterious Light On Mars ….Will Somebody Throw Some ” Light ” on This !!!

THERE may not be life on Mars, but PLEASE: let there be light. And there was light. But where is it coming from?

An unexplained shard of light in a photo from NASA’s Curiosity rover has got UFO enthusiasts excited, the Houston Chronicle reports (technically, it doesn’t appear to be flying so it can’t be a UFO, so there’s one theory quashed – Unless, of course, it’s refuelling).

Scott C. Waring, who runs the UFO Sightings Daily site, posted the photo on April 6.

Waring said the light shines upward, as if from the ground, and is very flat across the bottom.

“This could indicate there is intelligent life below the ground and uses light as we do,” Waring noted on his website. “This is not a glare from the sun, nor is it an artifact of the photo process.”
The strange light, spotted in a photo taken by the rover’s right-hand navigation in a new study area known as the Kimberley, does not appear in pictures from the left-hand camera, suggesting the “light” is actually a speck of lost data, reports NBC. An imaging expert at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory says the blip appears to have been caused by a cosmic ray hit.

Although the space agency hasn’t issued any statement about the phenomenon, bloggers and NASA watchers have chimed in on what is seen in the photo, which was sent over millions of kilometres of space before being picked up by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, the Houston Chronicle says.

Four different types of rock come converge at the Kimberley, which is named after a region of Western Australia.

“This is the spot on the map we’ve been headed for, on a little rise that gives us a great view for context imaging of the outcrops at the Kimberley,” the Curiosity mission’s Melissa Rice, of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, said.

Message For This Day… Sri Rama Navami…Significance of the Name RAMA…

Rama’s name is a life-giving essence with esoteric significance. It consists of three syllables: Ra + Aa + Ma. The combination of the three letters constitute the name ‘Rama’. Ra representing Agni (the Fire God), burns away all sins; Aa representing Surya (the Sun God), dispels the darkness of ignorance; and Ma representing Chandra (the Moon God), cools one’s temper and produces tranquility. The name Rama has the triple power of washing away one’s sins, removing one’s ignorance, and tranquilizing one’s mind. How can this profound meaning of the name Rama be imparted to mankind? This can be done only by the Divine coming in human form and demonstrating to mankind the power of the Divine. Rama was one who, while appearing to lead the life of an ordinary man, led the Life Divine. He demonstrated the ideal life of a spiritually realised person.

How the Blind People Dream ?

Today I Found Out how the completely blind dream.

It turns out that if they went completely blind before around the age of 5-7 years old, they will typically dream without any visual experiences.  In the very few cases where some report having visual experiences in their dreams, these experiences are more in the abstract sense where they feel like they were seeing something, even though they couldn’t actually recollect or describe when they woke up what the thing looked liked that they saw.  This is similar to how occasionally in dreams you can just “know” something, even though there is nothing specifically that you are experiencing in the dream which should indicate what you know. For instance, in a dream where when you wake up, you remember feeling like you were in danger in the dream, even though nothing you can recall in the dream indicated any danger.  There was just some abstract sense of it.

Outside of the interesting “around the age of 5-7″ cutoff for visual dream experiences, the dreams of those who are completely blind before this age tend to be principally auditory in nature.  However, what is also fascinating is that, compared to those who can see and hear, the blind report drastically increased taste/smell/touch sensations in their dreams, not just auditory sensations taking over for the lack of visual sensations.

Now if they go completely blind after around the age of 5-7, the vast majority of completely blind people will at first dream very similar dreams to those who are not blind, albeit, once again, with more non-visual sensory experiences than is reported by those who can see and hear.  But nevertheless, their visual experiences in their dreams tend to be quite similar to those who can see.  If they had diminished vision early on in life though, perhaps only seeing colors, then their visual experiences in their dreams tend to be similarly diminished based on those visual experiences.   As time passes, they typically will report more and more prevalence of experiences from the other senses and less and less visual experiences in dreams.  Often the visual experiences will become more vague and “blurry” as time passes, but they do seem to remain to some extent throughout the blind person’s entire life.

Joke of the Day !!! …. ” Buy One For Me Too ” !!!

One day a rich famous man went to buy a sport car from a dealership. The price of the car was $80000 and the man had only $79998 to pay.

The sales associate insisted that the price is firm and it has to be $80000.

The man came out of the store and looked around and saw a poor man begging for help. He went toward him and introduced himself and asked if he is kind enough to lend him $2. The poor man asked the reason. He replied that he is willing to buy a car. The poor man though for a moment and gave the man $4 and said: Please buy one for me too.  !!!
