Every human being has the evil tendencies of kama (lust), krodha(anger), lobha (greed), etc. in them. The epics teach us to control these real enemies. Hiranyakasipu was a great scientist. He had control over all five elements, but became a victim of his anger. His anger was directed at God and ultimately, he ruined himself. He subjected his son to many trials and tribulations and sought to kill him by throwing him from the hilltop, casting him into the sea, pushing him into a pit of poisonous snakes and making elephants trample on him. Prahlada chanted the name of Narayana ceaselessly, and emerged unscathed and victorious. That is why it is said, Yath bhavam, that bhavathi (As is the feeling, so is the experience). God manifests on the basis of the feelings of the devotee. If you pray to God with purity of heart and love, you will experience Him as such.

இராம நாமத்தின் மகிமையை மிக அற்புதமாக விளக்குகிறது.

ஸ்ரீ இராமர் அருளோடு ஸ்ரீ ஆஞ்சனேயர் அருளையும் பெறுவர் என்பது திண்ணம் ..
ராமாயணம் சென்று கேட்க முடியாதவர்கள்
கோவிலுக்கு செல்ல முடியாதவர்கள் ,
பூஜை செய்யமுடியாதவர்கள் .
குறைந்த பட்சம் இந்தபதிவை முழுமையாக படிக்கலாம்
.ராமர் அருள் பரிபூரணமாக கிடைக்கும் .

Joke of the Day…” If Words and Figures do not Match …” !!!

It was five in the evening, the bank was almost closed. All of a sudden, the Branch Manager received a phone call from a lady.
 
In a sweet voice she said – sir I urgently need Rs.10000. I’ll reach your bank in 10 minutes. Could you please wait for me?
 
 
Her voice was so captivating that the Branch Manager could not say ‘no’.
 
He instructed his cashier to keep the cash ready. The cashier obeyed his boss with great reluctance .
After a while, a dark complexioned lady with ugliest of face and a huge tummy came to the bank, presented a cheque and asked for the money.
 
The BM was taken aback, as he was expecting a cute lady.
 
He immediately told the lady that they had already closed the cash
for the day and she should come next day.
 
The cashier was so furious and he asked the BM, if his intention was to not to pay, why he was made to sit late.
 
BM – It is the Universal rule of banking that……..

If words and figure don’t match, payment will be declined. ������

Message For the Day…” How to Visualize the Form of God at all Times…”…

There are three stages of sadhana (spiritual practice). They are concentration, contemplation and meditation. Concentration entails fixing your gaze on one form. Contemplation occurs when you are able to perceive the form within you, even in its absence. Meditation means when, as a result of this exercise, this form is permanently imprinted in your heart. If you continue to meditate in this manner, the form will constantly be fixed in your heart. You should not confine your spiritual practices only to concentration and contemplation. While it is true that these are the first steps in your spiritual practices, you must progress further; you must transform concentration to contemplation, and then contemplation into meditation. When you carry this out, you will continue to visualize the form of God at all times. The ancientrishis (seers) adopted this form of meditation. That is why God manifested before them whenever they wished, talked to them and fulfilled their desires.

Message for the Day…” Once You Gaze at the world with a Divine Attitude, You See Only Divinity…”

The entire Universe is suffused with Divinity. Since your mind is steeped in Prakruthi (worldly objects) you are not able to seeParamatma (Divine). Just as when you focus your attention at a necklace, you shut your eyes to what it is made of, similarly as long as you look at the world with a materialistic attitude, Divinity shuts itself off from us. Once you gaze at the world with a divine attitude you see only Divinity. Who are the thieves that steal from every human being their peace and joy? They are the thieves of desire, pride, greed, infatuation, anger and jealousy, who rob a man of all his riches. But the worst of all thieves who inflicts the worst damage is matsarya (envy). We must win over our internal enemies and turn our gaze to Divinity who pervades the entire Universe.

அடுக்கு  மாடி  குடியிருப்பு  திறப்பு விழா  இன்று

ஆட்டம்  பாட்டம்  ஒரே அமர்க்களம் …. எங்கும்

ஆரவாரம் …புது  வீடு  குடி புகும்  குதூகல  கூட்டம் …

வட்டமடித்து  மேலே  பறக்குது  பறவை  கூட்டம்  ஒன்று ..

கீழே  கட்டிட  குவியலுக்கு  நடுவில்  தங்கள்  கூட்டையும்

வீட்டையும்  தேடி …

அதன்  கூட்டையும்  வீட்டையும்  சுமந்த மரங்கள்  என்றோ

சரிந்து  மறைந்து  விட்ட  உண்மை  நிலை

புரியவில்லையே  பாவம்  இந்த  பறவைகளுக்கு …

Bottomline….
Yesterday evening at sunset,  i happened to watch a lot of birds making round and round over a vacant space looking for their respective nests or their dwelling places ..
During the Day time, all available vegetation and trees … small and big..were
cleared mechanically for paving the way for paved land …Probably for the construction of a Residential dwelling unit…
While watching the plight of those birds , the above lines came to my mind …
That is expressed in the form of a small kavithai..today in my blog …

அன்பு விதை!

பள்ளி சென்று
திரும்பும் குழந்தைகள்
அன்று
உணவுக்கு ஏங்கின
இன்று
பாசத்திற்கு ஏங்குகின்றன!

ஆதாயம் தேடும்
அவசர உலகில்
அன்பை
அடகு வைத்து விடுவதால்
துன்பங்களே நம்மை
துரத்துகிறது!

பிச்சைக்காரன் என்றாலும்
உன்னை வணங்கினால்
நீயும் அவனை வணங்கு…
மனசிருந்தால்
காசு போடு
இல்லையென்றால்
ஒரு புன்னகை சிந்து…
பூரித்துப் போவான்!

ஒவ்வொரு பூக்களும்
வாசத்திற்கு உரியவை தான்
ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும்
நேசத்திற்கு உரியவன் தான்!

இறுகிக் கிடக்கும்
இதயங்களை கொஞ்சம்
தளர்த்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள்…
ஒவ்வொரு ஆன்மாவின் சுவாசமும்
அன்பால்
அரவணைக்கப்பட வேண்டும்!

விதை நெல்லாய்அன்பு பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு
வீரியமிக்க விதைகளாய்
இம்மண்ணில் துளிர்க்கட்டும்!

மகத்தான அன்பு விதைகள்
மனித மனங்களில்
அறுவடையாகிற போது
அங்கே
மனிதநேயம்
மறுமலர்ச்சியடையும்!

அன்பு இல்லாதவர்கள்
அரவணைக்கப்படுவதில்லை
அன்பை இழந்தோர்
ஆராதிக்கப்படுவதுமில்லை!

சிற்பத்தைப் போல்
செதுக்கப்படுவதல்ல அன்பு
இதயத்தில்
இயல்பாய் மலர்வது!

விருப்பு வெறுப்புகளை
புறந்தள்ளி
இதயங்களிலும்
அன்பு விளக்கேற்றுவோம்
எங்கும்
ஆனந்த ஒளி பரவட்டும்!

Love is God, love is Nature, love is life and love is the true human value. It is on the basis of the principle of love that sages declared: Loka samastha sukhino bhavantu(May the whole world be happy!). Love even the worst of your enemies. Sanctify every day by cultivating sacred thoughts and broad feelings. Today, humanity is stricken with fear and restlessness. Courage and strength are on the decline, because you have unsacred thoughts and wicked feelings. Your enemies are not outside. Your bad thoughts are your worst enemies and thoughts based on Truth are your best friends. You must make Sath, the eternal Truth, as your best friend. Worldly friends and enemies change with passage of time, but God is your true and eternal friend. This friend is always with you, in you, around you, above you, below you and protects you just as the eyelid protects the eye.
