Message For The Day….Even Intellectuals Should be Careful in Choosing Right Path!!!

Intellect loves to revel in discussions and disputations. Once you yield to this temptation, it takes a long while for you to escape from its shackles and move on to enjoy the bliss, which you can attain only from its nullification. Your feelings and emotions warp your thought process, and convert reason into an untamed bull. Always be aware of the limitations of reason and logic. They must give way and yield to devotion. After a point in time, your spiritual path must be illumined by devotion and intuition. Hence, be aware – your intellect can help you only for some distance along the Godward path. Very often, egoism tends to encourage and justify one’s actions, for a person is led along the wrong path by one’s own reason, if that is the path the person likes! You often come to the conclusion you want to reach! So make a careful choice on the path you tread!

Angry Birds Get into Kung fu Fighting !!!!

Forget little green pigs – this is how birds get really angry.

With their own version of the Chinese martial art Wing Chun, these two Eurasian cranes show they’re more than ready for their release into the wild next month.

Unleashing kung-fu skills to rival Bruce Lee, one of the creatures rears its head and wings and launches a perfect kick at the other from mid air.
Ha-so! The adolescent Eurasian crane aims a well-timed kick at his opponent

You squawkin' to me? Keepers at the Great Crane Project said the cranes were only showing off in front of each other

Keepers say the two youngsters were just showing off in front of each other at the Great Crane Project at Crane School in Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) Slimbridge, Gloucestershire.

They will be released next month onto the Somerset Moors and Levels.

The animals are taught how to forage and avoid danger by human carers, who wear disguises to prevent the cranes from becoming tame.

WWT aviculturist Amy King said: ‘We are surrogate parents to the birds and try to teach them all they need to survive, but some things they just pick up on their own.

‘Here the young cranes are sparring, as many young animals do. It looks dramatic but for now it is just practice.

‘Once in the wild, they’ll use these skills to determine their place in the pecking order and, if they need, to battle potential predators.’

Don't be givin' me your beak: The feisty young cranes are among 20 that were reared from eggs as part of the Great Crane Project's Crane School

RSPB Great Crane Project Manager Damon Bridge said: “It’ll be great to get this year’s youngsters down here to join the other cranes.

‘They’ll soon learn the ropes with the help of the more street wise older birds and with the support of our local farmers there’s plenty of wild food for them to get stuck into.’

Cranes were once a widespread and culturally significant part of British wildlife and many villages – such as Cranford in Middlesex or Cranmore in Somerset – take their names from the birds.

But by 400 years ago, they had gone extinct as a breeding bird because of the drainage of wetlands and over hunting.

The Great Crane Project is a partnership between the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, RSPB and Pensthorpe Conservation Trust.

It has major funding from Viridor Credits Environmental Company, which is reintroducing birds to the Somerset Moors and Levels.

Message For The Day….Mind is Worse Than a Drunken Monkey…

All the effort and investment you expend in pursuing the scriptures and noble thoughts are a sheer waste, if study and reflection do not help you to recognize that the mind is worse than a drunken monkey. Pilgrimages are for elevating the heart, sublimating the impulses and leading the lower self to higher levels of thought and action. Reason serves the same purpose, or at least, it ought to. Reason seeks to know the unity of the universe, the origin and the goal of all of it. Through reason, you should understand the laws that govern the microcosm (anu) and the macrocosm (Bruhath). It peeps behind the ever receding curtain to get a glimpse of the Puppeteer (Suthradhari) who pulls the strings.

Faking News !!! Rupee”s Steep Fall Make Him to Shed Tears !!!

He is always criticized for lack of expressions and emotions on his face. But finally something has hit the untouched nerve and made our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to let his emotions flow.

Sources claim that Dr. Singh was in tears this afternoon after Rupee fell below 64 against US Dollar and Sensex crashed by over 700 points.

Manmohan Singh Crying

Manmohan Singh, wiping off a tear.

“It wasn’t less than a cosmic event. From what I know, he was 4 years old last time he cried. It’s 76 years since then. We can easily draw analogy with visibility of Halley’s Comet from Earth which normally happens in every 75–76 years,” a PMO source told Faking News.

The incident has shaken everyone as experts rushed in to interpret its meaning.

“These kind of emotional outbursts happen with people who are supposed to take care of something but they fail at the task. Remember, Sheila Dikshit was in tears after Delhi gangrape case,” one expert claimed.

However, news organizations were not happy with such simplistic explanations and they asked the experts to link PM’s tears with Narendra Modi. Experts were trying when reports last came in.

The closest someone could reach a political interpretation of the tears was our Faking News correspondent, who termed PM’s tears as a sign of revolt.

“Crying or being upset is the prerogative of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Prime Minister has started doing things without consulting the high-command,” our correspondent concluded!!!!

Here is A Flash !!! A Faking News …Story of One Nivesh who is Looking For AC Button in his Motorcycle!!!

Published on August 17, 2013  by Mishtik Journo  in First post

Man, who invested in stocks to buy a luxury car, settles for a second hand bike!!!!!

Mumbai. “I was about to buy an Alto car in 2010 with the two and a half lakh rupees I had saved, when this dream merchant Raj Kapoor sold the idea to me to invest in equities and buying a Honda City within two years by tripling my money,” Nivesh – a young man confided to the psychiatrist when he was brought to the clinic this morning.
Raj Kapoor is a relationship manager with a stock broking firm who managed Nivesh’s equity investments in the last three years.
It was sometime in April 2010, when Sensex reached 18000 after having fallen to the 8000 level in March 2009, when Raj Kapoor came to Nivesh and claimed that the upward trend will continue at least for the next two years.
“Not sure if it was the first day of April,” Nivesh recalled, “But I was impressed with all the graphs he showed and I decided to wait for a couple of years and convert my Alto into a Honda City.”

Nivesh tried to control his thoughts and emotions, but they overwhelmed him.
“But how did you lose money when Sensex is at the same level where it was in 2010?” asked the shabbily dressed psychiatrist who also dabbled in the markets.
“All these indices! They are opium of the masses. My shares are down by 80% and this Sensex remains at the same level!” Nivesh said tearfully, “I haven’t eaten daal tadka garnished with fried onions or Bhindi do pyaza in last two months, leave aside Tandoori Chicken! These indices are made to fool the public.”
“The final blow came yesterday when the Sensex crashed by over 700 points. Nivesh called up Raj Kapoor and told him to sell off all his shares as he couldn’t keep up with any more nonsense. He got 42000 rupees in his account, and he bought a second hand Hero motorcycle for his family of seven,” Nivesh’s friend Nipun told Faking News outside the clinic.
“This morning, he spent half an hour looking for the AC button on his second hand bike. We tried to tell him that it was a bike not a luxury car, but he refused to listen. That’s when we had to bring him here,” Nipun explained how Nivesh ended up at a psychiatry clinic.
According to latest reports, Nivesh had turned almost violent when the TV in the clinic showed ‘Bharat Nirman’ ad. He is being kept in ICU and doctors are trying to control the damage.
“I am a star performer for my company and have earned hefty incentives in last six months for the brokerage I have earned for them,” Raj Kapoor told Faking News when asked for his comments.

Message For the Day….Control and train Your Mind For Your Journey On the Right Path !!!

Life is a pilgrimage to God and the path lies before you. But, unless you take the first step forward and follow it with succeeding steps, how can you reach it? Start with courage, faith, joy and steadiness, you will certainly succeed. The mind and the intellect are like two bullocks tied to a cart. The bullocks are not used to the road of Truth, Righteousness, Peace and Love, and so they drag the cart along the road familiar to them, namely, falsehood, injustice, worry and hatred. You have to train the bullocks to tread the right path, so that they may not bring disaster to themselves and to others. Every object or being in the world will give both pleasure and pain. Control and train your mind to see this real nature of the objective world. That is the real fruit of education.

“World”s Best Airport” to Double Its Capacity with New Terminal !!!

Airs and graces: Singapore's Changi Airport.

Singapore will build a new terminal that will double the capacity of Changi Airport in a bid to retain its edge as a regional aviation hub, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Sunday.

Construction work will begin soon and will be completed in 12 to 15 years, Lee announced in his annual policy speech.

“T5 (Terminal 5) sounds like a terminal, but it is actually a whole airport by itself, as big as today’s Changi Airport,” said Lee.
Singapore's Changi Airport: you could spend a few weeks here and not realise you missed your flight.

Singapore’s Changi Airport: you could spend a few weeks here and not realise you missed your flight!!!

He did not reveal the cost of the new facility, but said it would include a third runway that would double the capacity of Changi, which handled 51.2 million passengers last year.

Changi Airport, named the world’s best by Britain-based consultancy Skytrax this year, currently has three terminals with a total capacity of 66 million passengers a year.

In February it started to demolish its terminal for budget airlines to replace it with a larger facility.

The new facility, Terminal 4, will have the capacity to handle 16 million passengers a year when it opens in 2017.

In his speech late Sunday, Lee said there was growing competition from other major international airports in Southeast Asia.

He noted that Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi Airport are planning to expand.

“The question is do we want to stay this vibrant hub of Southeast Asia, or do we want to let somebody take over our position, our business and our jobs?” Lee said.

Passenger traffic at Changi totalled 51.2 million last year, the first time in the airport’s 31-year history that the number of people passing through crossed 50 million.

As of January 1, 2013, Changi handled more than 6500 weekly scheduled flights with 110 airlines connecting Singapore to 240 cities in 60 countries.

‘For me, the street art I do is just looking at things that are every day and seeing how little people can be used to make these things look funny.

‘It makes objects look different, it’s a mixture between things that are going on in the world and things that just pop into my head.’

Message For The Day….Like Butter Is Present in Milk,Divinity is Present in Everybody !!!

When some of you visit a temple or a holy shrine, even as you participate in the worship, your thoughts are about the safety of your footwear that you left outside. You will not get joy or liberation by merely going to a holy place. You will not get the joy even through darshan, sparshan and sambhashan – seeing Him, touching Him and conversing with Him. You must follow the prescription and act in accordance with the Divine Directions. Earnestly and enthusiastically, take the path shown by the great devotees of the Lord. You must feel inseparable affinity with the Lord, just as the wave is inseparable from the sea. Butter is imminent in milk and is invisible. So too, Divinity is present in every being and will manifest from within.
