That Nidhidhyasana is the fruit of devotion. To overcome obstacles in the spiritual path, you must have both, Sadhana and Sankalpa – Self-effort and Divine Grace.

Many years ago, the pope decided to visit New York. He is of course provided with a beautiful car and a dedicated driver to take him wherever he wishes to go.
When the pope sees the car, he motions to the driver and says: “Do you mind if I ask you a favor?”
“A favor for the pope??” exclaims the driver, “of course, anything!”
“Would you mind if I drove a little?” Asked the pope, “I never get to and I’d really like to once again drive a little for myself.”
The driver got scared, what if he let the pope get into an accident, but he couldn’t say no to the pope, and so the pope took the wheel… and immediately started to speed up like a maniac!
After going 100 mph in a 45mph zone, a police car zooms in next to them and they are requested to stop. The police officer walks slowly to their car, looks at the window for a moment, and then quickly steps back to his car.

The doctor is found where patients gather. So too, the Lord is always with the suffering and struggling. The patient who desires to improve must have faith in the doctor and carry out the instructions. Unless you have obeyed the orders of the doctor strictly and to the very letter, you have no authority to pronounce judgement on the doctor. Also remember that the doctor’s treatment will vary with each patient – it will depend upon the ailment, the age, the virulence of the disease and the treatment already undertaken. Apart from the prescription, one has to also adhere to the dietary and other regulations that the doctor recommends. That is to say, it is not merely practices like japam and dhyanam (Remembering God’s name and meditation) that will have to be done, but in order to supplement the effect of these, you have to lead a regulated life, a life conducive to good thoughts, with Sathwik (virtuous) food and pursuits.
Impressive Image of ISS Passing in Front Of Moon !!!!!
While testing his new telescope a Romanian astrophotographer managed to capture clear images of the International Space Station passing in front of the moon, in broad daylight.
And the snap makes Nasa’s space station look remarkably like the iconic USS Enterprise from TV show Star Trek.
Maximilian Teodorescu was testing the range of his new 150mm f/12 Maksutov telescope near the town of Dumitrana in Romania earlier this month when he took the shot.
This shot of the International Space Station as it crosses in front of the moon was taken by Romanian astrophotographer Maximilian Teodorescu. It bears a striking resemblance to the USS Enterprise ship from TV show Star Trek
The Starship Enterprise was one of the ships that featured in the Star Trek franchise. In the show, this NX-01 model was the first NX-class starship and was launched by the United Earth Starfleet in 2151
Teodorescu took the images on 15 June at around 6.17pm in Romania.
He posted the photos to his blog. Translated from Romanian, it reads: ‘A new ‘First-light’ or rather ‘First-photo’.
‘This time it’s a new instrument, a 150mm F/12 Maksutov.’
‘And what better topic for a first test if not the moon?’
He then adds he was surprised to see the International Space Station in transit so clearly.
He explains that the equipment used to capture the picture was Skywatcher 150mm Mak (F = 1800mm), Canon 550D, ISO 800, 1/1250s.
The angle of the International Space Station (ISS) in Teodorescu’s images bear a striking resemblance to the USS Enterprise starship from the TV show Star Trek.
The ISS first launched into space in 1998 and since the arrival of Expedition 1 in November 2000 the station has been continuously occupied.
Teodorescu used an 150mm f/12 Maksutov telescope to take this image of Nasa’s space station. He wanted to test the telescope’s range so took these images in broad daylight near the town of Dumitrana in Romania
It is currently the longest continuous human presence in space and in 2010, the station broke the previous record of almost 10 years -or 3,634 days – held by Nasa’s Mir station.
It has been visited by astronauts and cosmonauts from 15 different nations.
One of its most famous inhabitants was Commander Chris Hadfield from Canada who regularly tweeted images and videos from the station.

Wrong Approach ….But Perfect Landing … Miraculous !!!
A pilot narrowly averted tragedy thanks to his quick thinking actions that saw him save the plane from crashing into an apartment block.
The plane, a Beechcraft Super King Air 200, was trying to land at Chicago Executive Airport in Illinois when the aircraft lost control just half a mile from the airport.
The pilot was able to angle the plane away from the Foxboro Apartment complex and even managed to land upright.
Disaster averted: The pilot reported a problem to the tower just before the Beechcraft Super King Air 200 crashed a half-mile short of the airport, according to airport officials
Escape: The pilot was able to walk away from the crash with just a few bruises and scratches. Nobody on the ground was injured
Miraculous: The Mayor of the town of Prospect Heights, Illinois, called the plane crash a ‘Godsend’ expressing his surprise that nobody was hurt
Incredibly, the pilot, the plane’s only occupant, was able to walk away, although he was transported to Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview with minor injuries.
‘Normally those planes come over the lake, and come down, but we saw it wasn’t going to come down where it was supposed to,’ said 11-year-old Jakaila Johnson. ‘We ran inside the house and screamed, ‘A plane crashed!’ . . . We thought it might blow up.’
An unusual sight: Locals began to gather to see the plane that looked as though it had been parked next to a group of cars!!!
Airport Manager Dennis Rouleau said the pilot reported a problem to the tower just before the crash.
‘To develop a problem and then put it down on the road instead — it could have been a lot worse,’ Rouleau said. ‘It could have been in some buildings, but he was able to put it down on the street to avoid injuries to himself and people on the ground.’
‘There was a fair amount of damage, but for what he did, the airplane was pretty intact for landing short of the runway,” he said. “He did a spectacular job of avoiding homes and cars.’
The mayor of the small town of Prospect Heights where the plane came down called the incident ‘a Godsend.’ ‘I think we’re very fortunate to have an airplane accident that was a walkaway situation,’ said Nick Helmer. ‘It’s very fortunate that nobody was hurt — either on the ground or those in the air.

The Uttarakhand disaster has its heroes, but villains aren’t too hard to find. Some are in saffron.
The police have caught six sadhus from rain-ravaged Kedarnath with a crore of rupees in their possession.
Many incidents of looting with the victims have come to light, but the six sadhus who had refused to be rescued by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Jawans are now being investigated by the police.

Officials said that the sadhus were persuaded by the ITBP and brought to Gaucher.
During questioning, the sadhus said that the they were travelling all across India starting from Allahabad Kumbh Mela to Himachal Pradesh to Kedarnath. Some of these sadhus claimed that the money recovered from them is their own; others said they were carrying it for the purpose of organising a holy feast.
The sadhus were carrying the money in waistbands and baggage. “The notes are in series and are of Rs 100, Rs 1000 and Rs 10 and Rs 20. It appears that the sadhus were involved in looting the flood victims,” said an ITBP official.
Others fly high. Private helicopter companies pressed by the state government to evacuate people stranded in Uttarakhand are a making a quick buck out of the misery of the people. Headlines Today in a sting operation has exposed and caught red handed a company called Saarathi Airways Pvt. Ltd asking for money to evacuate people stuck in Badrinath on priority if a chunk of money is paid in Delhi. Interestingly, the Saarthi Airways helicopter with call sign VT-BKA has been operational in Uttarakhand and the company is being paid exorbitantly by the state government for every rescue sortie it undertakes.
When a Headlines Today team approached the owner of Saarathi Airways, Gulab Singh, posing as people whose relatives are stranded in Uttarakhand, he immediately guided them to Deepraj Singh Mehra, General Manager (Operations) of Saarthi Airways. Mehra took less than a minute to begin shamelessly haggling for money in exchange for evacuating the purportedly stranded, seeking a little over Rs 2 lakh for extracting three persons from Badrinath.
The undercover team of Headlines Today also met a middleman named Kamal Khanna who had tied up with different helicopter companies operating on behalf of the state government. According to him deals are being struck through him so that the officials and the company remain safe.

கவியரசு கண்ணதாசன் அவர்கள் எத்தனையோ காலத்தால் அழியாத தன்னம்பிக்கை
பாடல்களை தந்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால் அவற்றுக்கெல்லாம் சிகரம் வைத்தாற்போல
திகழ்வது ‘சுமைதாங்கி’ படத்தில் வரும் ‘மயக்கமா கலக்கமா’ பாடல் தான்.
ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் வாழ்க்கையில் உச்சகட்ட சோதனை, துன்பம், விரக்தி என்ற
ஒரு நிலை ஏதாவது ஒரு தருணத்தில் வரும். வறுமை, இயலாமை, பழி சொல்,
துரோகம், எதிர்பாராத சோகம், பிரிவு, என ஏதாவது ஒரு ரூபத்தில் துன்பம்

பதிப்பகம் போயிருந்தேன்.
அப்படியே கண்ணதாசனின் புதல்வர் திரு.காந்தி கண்ணதாசன் அவர்களையும்
சந்தித்தேன். அப்போது இந்த ‘மயக்கமா கலக்கமா மனதிலே குழப்பமா’ பாடல்
பற்றி பேசினோம். அப்போது திரு.காந்தி கூறிய சில விஷயங்கள் சிலிர்க்க
வைப்பவை.
இதற்கிடையே, ‘மயக்கமா கலக்கமா’ பாடல் பற்றி காந்தி கண்ணதாசன் அவர்கள்
கூறியவைகளை இங்கே தருகிறேன். படியுங்கள்… சிலிர்த்துப்போவீர்கள்!
எதற்க்கெடுத்தாலும் விதியை நொந்து இறைவனை வசைபாடுவதை விட்டேவிடுவீர்கள்!

திரையுலகில் எப்படியாவது வெற்றி பெறவேண்டி கவிஞர் வாலி
ஸ்ரீரங்கத்திலிருந்து கிளம்பி சென்னை வந்த சமயம் அது. ஆல் இந்திய ரேடியோ,
நாடக சபாக்கள் என தனக்கு கிடைத்த ஒன்றிரண்டு வாய்ப்புக்களை வைத்து
சென்னையில் காலத்தை தள்ளுகிறார் வாலி. ஆனால் அவர் எதிர்பார்த்த திரையுலக
பிரேக் கிடைக்கவேயில்லை. போதிய வருமானம் இன்றி சென்னையில் அவரால் காலம்
தள்ள முடியவில்லை. அவ்வப்போது ஏதாவது வாய்ப்புக்கள் வந்தாலும் எதுவும்
சொல்லிக்கொள்ளும்படி அமையவில்லை.
நாகேஷ், வாலி இவர்கள் எல்லாம் ஒரே அறையில் தங்கியிருந்த காலகட்டம் அது.
இவர்களை பார்க்க பாடகர் பி. பி.ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ் அங்கே அடிக்கடி வருவார்.
மூன்று பேரும் எங்கவாது ஒன்றாக செல்வார்கள். ஒரு பக்கம் வறட்சி,
மறுபக்கம் வறுமை… ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் கொடுமையாக இருந்தது வாலிக்கு.
“சரி.. இனி சென்னை நமக்கு சரிப்பட்டு வராது… நம்ம ஊருக்கே போய்டவேண்டியது
தான்” என்று முடிவு செய்துவிட்டு தான் கொண்டு வந்த பெட்டியுடன்
ஸ்ரீரங்கம் திரும்புவதற்காக தயாராகிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அந்த நேரம் அங்கே
வந்த பி.பி.ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ்.. ‘சுமைதாங்கி’ங்கிற படத்துக்காக இன்னைக்கு ஒரு
பிரமாதமான பாட்டு பாடினேன்ய்யா.. கேக்குறியா?” என்று வாலியை கேட்க,
ஆர்வமுடன் கேட்கும் நண்பரிடம் மறுப்பு சொல்லமுடியாமல் வாலி அரைமனதுடன்
“சரி… பாடுங்க” என்று சொல்ல… ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ் ‘மயக்கமா கலக்கமா’ பாடலை பாடத்
துவங்குகிறார். பாடப் பாட நிமிர்ந்து உட்கார்ந்த வாலி, என்ன தோன்றியதோ
“இனிமே ஜெயிக்காம ஊர் திரும்புற பேச்சுக்கே இடமில்லே. மெட்ராஸைவிட்டு
ஜெயிக்காம நான் போகமாட்டேன். முயற்சி பண்ணா நிச்சயம் ஜெயிக்கலாம்ன்னு
இந்த பாட்டு எனக்கு புரிய வெச்சிடுச்சு” என்று சொல்லி பெட்டியை எடுத்து
உள்ளே வெச்சிடுறார். (அன்னைக்கு வெச்ச பெட்டியை அதுக்கு பிறகு வாலி
எடுக்கவே இல்லை. சொல்லப்போனா பீரோ பீரோவா வாங்கித் தள்ளிட்டார்.) இது
வாலி சாரோட லைஃப்ல நடந்த விஷயம்.
விரட்டியடிக்கப்பட்ட அதே இடத்தில்….
இந்த பாட்டு சம்பந்தமா அப்பாவோட (கண்ணதாசன்) லைஃப்ல நடந்த விஷயம் ஒன்னை
சொல்றேன் கேளுங்க.
அப்பா மெட்ராஸ்க்கு வரும்போது அவரோட வயசு 16 இருக்கும். காரைக்குடியில
இருந்து சென்னைக்கு கையில ஒரு பைசா கூட இல்லாம வர்றாரு. வருஷம் 1942
அல்லது 1943 இருக்கும். எக்மோர்ல ட்ரெயின்ல வந்து சாயந்திரம் இறங்குறார்.
எங்கே போறதுன்னு தெரியலே. அவருக்கு மெட்ராஸ்ல தெரிஞ்சதெல்லாம் மண்ணடில
இருக்குற எங்க ஊர்க்கரங்களுக்கு என்றே இருக்கும் ‘நகரத்தார் விடுதி’
தான். அதுக்கு கூட எப்படி போறதுன்னு தெரியாது. பஸ்ல போக கைல நையா பைசா
இல்லே. நடந்தே போவோம்னு மண்ணடிக்கு கிளம்புறார். பீச் வழியா போறாரு. அந்த
நேரம் பார்த்து இருட்டிடவே, இனிமே விடுதிக்கு போகமுடியாது…
லேட்டாயிடுச்சு… பூட்டியிருப்பாங்கன்னு அங்கேயே ஒரு ஓரமா படுக்குறார்.
ஆனா பாரா வந்த போலீஸ்காரர் படுக்க விடலே…. “யார் நீ? இங்கே எதுக்கு
படுத்திருக்கே?” அப்படின்னு கேட்டு இடத்தை காலி பண்ணச்சொல்லி
மிரட்டுறார். இவர் தன் நிலைமையை சொல்ல, “அதெல்லாம் தெரியாது. இடத்தை காலி
பண்ணு, இல்லே நாலணா காசு கொடுத்திட்டு அப்புறம் படு…” அப்படின்னு சொல்ல….
இருந்தாத் தானே கொடுக்குறதுக்கு… So, படுக்க கூட இடம் இல்லாம அந்த
இடத்திலிருந்து துரத்தப்பட்டார் கண்ணதாசன். “இந்த ஏழையிடம் நாலணா
இல்லாததால் பீச்சில் கூட படுக்க இடம் கிடைக்கவில்லை” அப்படின்னு
பின்னாளில் எழுதினார்.
அதுக்கப்புறம் அப்பா சினிமாவுல ஜெயிச்சு, படம்லாம் கூட தயாரிச்சார்.
‘விசாலாக்ஷி ஃபிலிம்ஸ்’ என்கிற சொந்த பேனர்ல ஜெமினி கணேசனை வச்சு ஸ்ரீதரை
டைரக்டரா போட்டு ‘சுமைதாங்கி’ங்கிற படம் எடுக்குறார். அந்த படத்துக்கு
இந்த ‘மயக்கமா கலக்கமா’ பாட்டு எழுதுறார்.
அந்த பாட்டை எங்கே ஷூட் பண்ணாரு தெரியுமா? அவரை எந்த இடத்துல படுக்கக்கூட
கூடாதுன்னு சொல்லி போலீஸ்காரன் விரட்டிவிட்டானோ அதே இடத்துல ஜெமினி
கணேசனை நடக்க வெச்சு அந்த பாட்டை ஷூட் பண்ணாரு. அந்த பாட்டப்போ நல்லா
பார்த்தீங்கன்னா தெரியும்.. ஜெமினி சார் நடக்கும்போது குறுக்கேயும்
நெடுக்கேயும் நாலஞ்சு கார்கள் போவும். அது அத்தனையும் அப்பாவோடது தான்.
இது தான் கண்ணதாசன் சினிமாவுல ஜெயிச்ச கதை!!”
எவ்ளோ பெரிய சாதனை…. என்ன ஒரு DETERMINATION!
“சார்.. இந்த வைர வரிகளிலேயே எனக்கு ரொம்ப ரொம்ப பிடிச்சது நாளை பொழுதை
இறைவனுக்களித்து நடக்கும் வாழ்வில் நிம்மதி தேடு & உனக்கும் கீழே உள்ளவர்
கோடி… நினைத்து பார்த்து நிம்மதி நாடு” என்கிற வரிகள் தான் சார். அங்கே
தான் கவியரசு நிக்கிறார்.
