தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு பிறக்கும் வேளை!!!!!!

ஏப்.14ல் “விஜய’ தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. ஆனாலும், ஏப்.13 சனிக்கிழமை வளர்பிறை சதுர்த்தி, கார்த்திகை நட்சத்திரம் அமிர்தயோக வேளையில் இரவு 11.52 தனுசு லக்னத்திலேயே பிறந்து விடுகிறது. புத்தாண்டு பிறக்கும் நேரத்தின் அடிப்படையில், ஆண்டு முழுதும் நல்லமழை பொழியும் என்றும், விவசாயிகள் நல்ல மகசூல் காண்பர் என்றும் பஞ்சாங்கங்களில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழ் ஆண்டு அறுபதில் விஜய 27வது ஆண்டாகும். சுபகிரகமான குரு, இந்த ஆண்டின் ராஜாவாக இருக்கிறார். குருவும், சந்திரனும் பலமாக இருப்பதால் இவ்வாண்டில் ராஜயோகம் பெறுபவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை உயரும்.

தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு துவக்கத்தில் அதிக உஷ்ணம் ஏன்?

“”உலகின் இருளைப் போக்கி ஆத்மபலத்தை அளிக்கும் ஒளி மயமான சக்தி எதுவோ அதனை வணங்குவோம்” என்று சூரியனை ரிக்வேதம் போற்றுகிறது. வான மண்டலத்தில் இருக்கும் மற்ற கிரகங்களுக்கு சூரியனே ஆற்றல் வழங்குவதாக “சூரிய சித்தாந்தம்’ நூல் கூறுகிறது. சூரியன் சித்திரை மாதத்தில், மேஷ ராசியில் சஞ்சரிக்கும் காலத்தில், அளவற்ற ஆற்றலைப் பெறுகிறார். அதன் காரணமாகத்தான் அந்த மாதத்தில் உஷ்ணம் மிக அதிகமாக இருக்கிறது. அவர் முதல் ராசியான மேஷத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும் நாளையே “தமிழ்ப்புத்தாண்டாக’ கொண்டாடுகிறோம். முதல்மாதமான சித்திரையில் சூரியன் உச்சநிலை பெறும் நேரத்தை “அக்னி நட்சத்திர காலம்’ என்று ஜோதிட சாஸ்திரம் கூறுகிறது.

If we change the name of our country to IDI, Our citizens will be called “IDIOTS”

An man sees a barber-shop with a sign saying “The World’s Closest, Cleanest Shave – Or Double Your Money Back”.

Curious – especially since he has a thick growth, which makes it difficult to get a really clean shave – he goes inside. He asks the barber how he can possibly make that promise. The barber smiles at him and says that in the past ten years no customer has ever asked for his money back.

How is that, asks the man. The barber again smiles and says it is all because of his secret shaving technique.

Even more curious now, the man asks for a shave and sits down in the barber’s chair.

The barber carefully unlocks his drawer and produces a small lacquered wooden ball. He places the ball in the man’s cheek to gently stretch the skin. And he then proceeds to shave the cheek as smooth as a baby’s bottom.

After finishing one side, the barber places the ball in the other cheek and repeats the process on the other side. The result is the most fantastic shave the man has ever had.

Very impressed, he pays the barber, and gives him a big tip. Then just before leaving, he stops, turns to the barber and asks, “You know that ball is so small and smooth I nearly swallowed it while you were shaving me”

The barber smiles and says “Actually, a lot of my customers do swallow that ball, sir”

“So what happens when they do that?”

“Oh, nothing. I just tell them to bring it back next day morning.”!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just as there are two wires, the positive and the negative which are brought together to produce light, so too the Supreme Self (Paramatma) and the spiritual aspirant (Sadhaka) have to meet in Yoga, to receive illumination! So gladly go to the holy places and keep company with the holy and the pious. A magnet attracts pure iron, similarly a sincere aspirant is attracted to only such things that will grant them Joy and Courage.

Singapore Changi Airport has been voted the World’s Best Airport at the 2013 World Airport Awards held at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Geneva. This is the fourth time Changi airport has achieved the top prize – last claiming victory back in 2010.
The awards are voted for by airport customers from around the world and this year the survey garnered 12.1 million responses.
For Changi, it was a triple success, as well as securing the top prize, it also picked up the awards for Best Airport in Asia and Best Airport for Leisure Amenities.

Last year’s winner, Incheon International Airport achieved a second place finish in the global rankings, and achieved major success in taking the awards for Best Airport Staff Service – Asia and Best International Transfer Airport.
