இன்று 31 மே…என் தந்தை மறைந்த நாள் …7 வருடம் முன்பு. அதிகம் பேச மாட்டார் …ஆனால் முகத்தில் தெரியும் அவர் என்ன சொல்ல வருகிறார் என்று. மனதில் பட்டதை பட் என்று சொல்லும் பழக்கம் … கடமை தவறா அரசு அதிகாரி. நேர்மை வழி வளர்ந்து அந்த வழியில் தன் பிள்ளைகளையும் நடக்க செய்தவர் …

புது வருட வாழ்த்து, திருமண வாழ்த்து முதல் இரங்கல் செய்தி வரை , எல்லோருக்கும் ஒரு அஞ்சல் அட்டை செல்லும் அவரிடம் இருந்து !!!

அஞ்சல் அட்டை அவரின் தனி அடையாளம் ஆனதால் , அவருக்கு தேவைப்படவில்லை ஒரு மின்அஞ்சல் முகவரி அடையாளம் !!!

நாளை 1 ஜூன் என் பேரனின் முதல் பிறந்த நாள் … நான் ஒரு கவிதை வடிவில் என் அப்பாவைக் கேட்கிறேன் …அவ்ர்

நல் வாழ்த்துக்களை என் பேரனுக்கு. இது வெறும் கவிதை அல்ல … என் நினைவலைகளில் இருந்து பிறந்த உணர்ச்சி

One’s selfish needs have to be sacrificed. There must be constant efforts to do good to others. Your desire should be to establish the welfare of the world. With all these feelings at heart, you must meditate on the Lord. This is the right path. If great men and those in authority are thus engaged in the service of humanity and in promoting the welfare of the world, the thieves of passion, hatred, pride, jealousy, envy and conceit will not invade the minds of common people; the values such as Right Conduct, Mercy, Truth, Love, Knowledge and Wisdom will be safe from harm. The six internal foes called the Arishadvargas can be uprooted only by the teachings of great souls, love for God, knowledge of the Lord and the company of the holy and the great.

மஹாபெரியவாளிடம் இருந்து சந்தனத்தால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட காமாட்சி, ஒரு தேங்காய், அவரது பாதுகை ஆகியவற்றைப் பெற்று இருக்கிறார் ஒரு பரம பக்தர். அவர் பெயர் சீனிவாசன்.

தஞ்சை மாவட்டத்தில் பாபநாசம் அருகே உள்ளது உத்தமதானபுரம். அங்கே வசித்தவர் கார்வார் வெங்கட்ராமன். 1901-ஆம் வருடத்திலிருந்து அவர் காஞ்சி மடத்தின் ஊழியராகப் பணி புரிந்தவர். அவர் மடத்தில் சேர்ந்த பல வருடங்கள் கழித்து தான், மஹா பெரியவா பீடாதிபதி பட்டமேற்றார். அவருக்கு முன்பு பீடாதிபதிகளாக இருந்தவர்கள் எப்படி இருந்தார்கள், ஆசார நியமங்களை எந்த விதத்தில் செய்வார்கள் என்றெல்லாம் வெங்கட்ராமனிடம் மஹா பெரியவா விவரமாகக் கேட்டுத் தெரிந்து கொள்வார்களாம். காரணம், பெரியவாளுக்கு முன்பு இருந்த பீடாதிபதிகள் காலத்தில் இவர் பணியாற்றி இருக்கிறார் என்பதே.

அந்த கார்வார் வெங்கட்ராமனின் பிள்ளை தான் சீனிவாசன். இவருக்கு படிப்பு அதிகமில்லை. நாற்பத்தியாறு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு நடந்த ஒரு சம்பவம் இவரது வாழ்க்கையின் திசையையே மாற்றி விட்டது எனலாம்.

மஹா பெரியவா சென்னை சம்ஸ்கிருதக் கல்லூரியில் தங்கியிருந்த நேரம். உத்தமதானபுரத்தில் இருந்த சீனுவிற்கு,, ஒரு நாள் தூக்கத்தில் திடீரென விழிப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. ஒரு தெய்வீக அருள் நிலையில் காமாட்சியம்மன் மீது ஆயிரம் அகவல்களை இயற்றினார்.

இப்போது அந்த தினத்தை நினைத்தாலும் தன் உடல் சிலிர்க்கிறது என்கிறார். அந்த பிரமிப்பு நீங்காமல், இதைக் குறித்து அவர் தந்தைக்கும் கடிதம் எழுத, அதை மஹாபெரியவாவிடம் காட்டி இருக்கிறார். இதைத் தொடர்ந்து சென்னைக்கு உடனே வரும்படி மடத்து மானேஜர் சீனுவிற்குக் கடிதம் எழுதியனுப்பினார். சீனிவாசன் மஹானின் கட்டளையாக ஏற்று, சென்னைக்குச் சென்றபோது கி.வா.ஜகந்நாதன், சேங்காலிபுரம் அனந்தராம தீட்சிதர் உட்பட பல மேதைகள் பரமாச்சாரியாரின் தரிசனத்திற்காகக் காத்திருந்தனர்.

தரிசனத்திற்கு சீனிவாசன் முறைவந்த போது ‘படி’ என்று மட்டும் சுருக்கமாகச் சொன்னர் மஹான். காமாட்சி ஸ்துதியை அவரும் படித்தார். கேட்டார். அடுத்த நாள் சீனுவை தன் அறைக்கு வருமாறு சொன்னார். அங்கே போன சீனிவாசன், “நான் எந்த ஞானமும் இல்லாதவன். என்னை காமாட்சியம்மன் ஒரு கருவியாகப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்” என்றார்.

மஹான் முகத்தில் புன்னகையைத் தேக்கியவாறு ஒரு மூங்கில் கட்டிலில் இருந்த சந்தனமேருவையும் (சிறுமலை போல் இடித்து வைக்கப்பட்ட சந்தனம்) ஸ்ரீபாதுகைகளையும் ஒரு தேங்காயையும் கட்டிக் கொண்டு வந்து “இதை எல்லாம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போய் பூஜை செய். உனது பூஜை உலக நன்மையையே நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும். எழுதுவதற்காகவே பிறந்தவன் நீ” என்றார்.
சீனிவாசன் உடல் சிலிர்க்க, படபடப்பு அதிகமாகியது.

ஊர் திரும்பிய சீனிவாசன் அவர் கொடுத்த தெய்வத் திருஉருவங்களுக்கு தினசரி பூஜை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தார். காமாட்சி அருளால் தெய்வங்கள் மீது பாமாலை, அந்தாதி, சதகம் ஸ்லோகம் என்று எழுதிக் குவித்தார்.

”பாரா ஒவ்வொன்றையும் எழுதி முடித்தவுடன் பரமாச்சாரியாரிடம் கொண்டு போய் காட்ட, அவர் படிக்கச் சொல்லிக் கேட்க, அவற்றை மஹான் ரசிப்பதே அழகு” என்கிறார் சீனு.

22.02.61 அன்று மஹான், சீனிவாசனின் வீட்டிற்கே எழுந்தருளி தாம் அளித்த சந்தன காமாட்சி அருகில் அமர்ந்து பூஜை செய்தார். கிடைத்தற்கரிய பெரும் பாக்யம் அல்லவா இது?

1987-வருடத்திலிருந்து சென்னை வண்டலூரில் சீனுவாசன் குடும்பத்துடன் தங்கி தெய்வங்களை பூஜித்து வருகிறார். பரமாச்சாரியார் கூறியதன் பேரில் உத்தமதானபுரத்தில் இருந்த அவர் வீட்டிற்கு இசைப் பேரரசி எம்.எஸ்.சுப்புலட்சுமி விஜயம் செய்திருக்கிறார். பூஜை அறையில் அமர்ந்து சில பாடல்களையும் பாடினாராம் இசையரசி.

இன்னொரு அதிசய நிகழ்ச்சி.

ஒருமுறை காஞ்சியருகே இருக்கும் சர்வதீர்த்தக்கரை என்ற இடத்தில் பரமாச்சாரியார் ஒற்றை ஆடையை உடலில் அணிந்து ஒட்டிய தேகத்துடன், சீனிவாசன் வாயிலிருந்து வெளிப்பட்ட நாமாக்களை கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்போது திடீரென்று சீனுவின் கண்ணெதிரே ஒரு அதிசய நிகழ்ச்சி. மஹானின் உடல் முழுவதும் புஷ்பத்தால் அலங்காரம் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது. தலையில் மலர்க்கிரீடம், அவர் வீற்றிருந்த திண்டு கூட மலர்களாகவே காட்சியளித்தது. உத்தமதானபுரத்தில் காமாட்சியம்மனைத் குறித்து சீனு விவரித்த ஒரு கோலத்தில் பரமாச்சாரியார் காட்சி தந்தார். ‘என்ன பரவசமான காட்சி’ என்று சீனு பரவசமடைகிறார்.

சீனிவாசன் நடத்தும் பூஜைகளில் இனவேறுபாடு இன்றி எல்லோரும் கலந்து கொண்டு அருள்பெற வேண்டுமென உத்தரவாகியதாம். குறி சொல்வது, சோதிடம் போன்ற எதிலும் ஈடுபடாமல் உலக நன்மைக்காக மட்டும் பூஜை செய்கிறார் பக்தர் சீனிவாசன். இந்தக் கலியுகத்திலும் கடவுளின் அருள் குறைவின்றிக் கிடைக்கும் என்பதற்கு உதாரணமாகக் காட்சியளிக்கின்றன அவர் வீட்டில் இருக்கும் தேங்காய் (இதில் இன்னமும் இளநீர் இருக்கிறது) சந்தன காமாட்சி, ஸ்ரீபாதுகைகள் ஆகியவை.

Message For the Day…” Be a Ship and Not a Sheep ‘…

One should realise the infinite powers latent in oneself. It is these powers which have enabled mankind to invent the most wonderful kinds of machinery. Humans are, therefore, more valuable than the most precious things in the world. It is human beings who imparts value to things by the changes they make in them, as in the case of diamonds or a work of art. In the spiritual field, humans are enjoined at the very outset to know oneself. One should not be a slave of the senses. Nor should one follow others like sheep. ‘Be a ship and not sheep.’ A ship serves to carry others and cross the Ocean. The one who pursues the spiritual path not only benefits himself but promotes the well-being of others. Consider the body as a vessel, wisdom as a rope ‘and use the vessel to draw the nectar of Divinity from the well of spirituality. Not otherwise can immortality be attained.

Kelvin Helmholtz clouds

It looks like someone painted the sky with breaking ocean waves. They are called Kelvin Helmholzt clouds, aka as billow clouds or shear-gravity clouds.

Here’s a special kind of cloud known to scientists as a Kelvin Helmholtz cloud. They look like breaking ocean waves, with the rolling eddies seen at the top of the cloud layers usually evenly spaced and easily identifiable. Kelvin Helmholtz clouds are named for Lord Kelvin and Hermann von Helmholtz, who studied the physics of the instability that leads to this type of cloud formation.

How Kelvin Helmholtz clouds form. A Kelvin Helmholtz instability forms where there’s a velocity difference across the interface between two fluids: for example, wind blowing over water. You’ll often see the characteristic wave structure in this type of cloud when two different layers of air in our atmosphere are moving at different speeds. The upper layers of air are moving at higher speeds and will often scoop the top of the cloud layer into these wave-like rolling structures.

The clouds often form on windy days, when there’s a difference in densities of the air, for exmaple, during a temperature inversion.

These clouds are often good indicators of atmospheric instability and the presence of turbulence for aircraft.

A champion jockey is about to enter an important race on a new horse. The horse’s trainer meets him before the race and says,

“All you have to remember with this horse is that every time you approach a jump, you have to shout, “ALLLLEEE OOOP!” really loudly in the horse’s ear. Providing you do that, you’ll be fine”.

The jockey thinks the trainer is mad but promises to shout the command. The race begins and they approach the first hurdle. The jockey ignores the trainer’s ridiculous advice and the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

They carry on and approach the second hurdle. The jockey, somewhat embarrassed, whispers “Aleeee ooop” in the horse’s ear. The same thing happens — the horse crashes straight through the center of the jump.

At the third hurdle, the jockey thinks, “It’s no good, I’ll have to do it” and yells, “ALLLEEE OOOP!” really loudly. Sure enough, the horse sails over the jump with no problems. This continues for the rest of the race, but due to the earlier problems the horse only finishes third.

The trainer is fuming and asks the jockey what went wrong. The jockey replies,

“Nothing is wrong with me — it’s this bloody horse. What is he — deaf or something?”

The trainer replies, “Deaf?? DEAF?? He’s not deaf — he’s BLIND!”

” It is Just a Slip…. Not a Fall …” A Lesson To All of us …

We’re often told that it’s not about how we fall in life, it’s whether we get back up and keep fighting. Because everyone will stumble from time to time, and it’s those who preserve through the trials and tribulations that have the success so many of us crave. But as we all know, it can be truly hard to rise up again after falling so hard; and it may even seem impossible. I guess that’s why life is so hard. It separates those who truly want something, from those that don’t.

That’s why this young girl by all accounts should have just given up. After all, when competing against the best athletes in the country, there’s no margin for error, especially the kind she makes. But what happened instead serves as an example to us all.

 

Well if that isn’t a shot in the arm to go out and reach for the impossible, I don’t know what is.
