You hear some good news and a little later, you hear some sad news. Sometime after that you hear harsh and abusive words. Your ears heard all words of praise and blame alike. But when happy news was told, your heart felt elated, and it shrunk when sad news was heard. The same heart got enraged when the ears heard harsh words and was filled with joy when it heard words of praise! The ears by themselves are incapable of any reaction; they merely transmit the message. Thus the senses by themselves are not conscious, they are inconscient (Jada). Then how can the operations of these senses and the experiences resulting from them be deemed as Truth or Reality (Sathya)? Understand clearly that as the senses are unreliable, the reactions produced by them are also equally unreliable. If you enquire along these lines, you will develop discrimination and can easily overcome sorrow.

ஒரு நாள், காட்டிற்கு வேட்டையாட வந்த, யது என்ற மன்னன், காட்டில் தத்தாத்ரேயர் ஆனந்தமாக இருந்ததைக் கண்டு, ஐயனே… உலகில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஏதாவது ஒரு கவலையுடன் வாழுந்து வரும் நிலையில், நீங்களோ வெகு ஆனந்தமாக இருக்கிறீர்களே… உங்களுக்கு இத்தகைய ஆனந்த மார்க்கத்தை கற்றுக் கொடுத்த குரு யார், எனக்கும் கூறுங்கள்… என்று, கேட்டான். எனக்கு ஒன்றல்ல பல குருமார்கள் இருக்கின்றனர். அதில், இந்த பூமிதான் முதல் குரு; இதனிடமிருந்து பொறுமையையும், பிறருக்கு நன்மை செய்வதையும் கற்றேன். தண்ணீரிடமிருந்து, சுத்தத்தைக் கற்றேன். எல்லாரிடமும் பழகினாலும், யாரிடமும் பற்று வைக்காத குணத்தை, காற்றிடம் படித்தேன்.  பரந்து விரிந்திருந்தாலும், எதனிடமும் தொடர்பு இல்லாதது வானம். அந்த தொடர்பற்ற நிலையை ஆகாயமே எனக்கு தெரிவித்தது. ஒரே சூரியன் என்றாலும், எல்லா குடங்களின் நீரிலும் பிரதிபலிப்பது போல, பல சரீரங்களை ஒரே ஆத்மா எடுப்பதைப் பார்த்தேன். வேடனின் வலையில் சிக்கிய புறாக்களைப் பார்த்து, தானும் சிக்கிய தாய் புறாவைப் பார்த்து, பாசபந்தமே துன்பத்திற்கு காரணம் என, உணர்ந்தேன்.

Drone Delivers Pizza @ Mumbai !!!

  Mumbai, notorious for its traffic snarls, has achieved a first in the country after a city-based pizza outlet used an unmanned drone to execute a delivery by taking the aerial route recently.

“All of us had read about (global e-commerce giant) Amazon’s plans of using drones. We successfully carried out a test-delivery by sending a pizza to a customer located 1.5 km away from our outlet on May 11,” Francesco’s Pizzeria chief executive Mikhel Rajani said.

He stressed that this was only a test-flight but its results confirm that it can be used routinely in a few years.

A four-rotor drone took off with the order from its outlet in central Mumbai’s Lower Parel area and delivered it to a high-rise building in adjacent Worli area, Rajani said, claiming that it is for the first time that the ubiquitous drone has been used for such a purpose in the country.

The eatery, which has been in operations for two years, has made a video of the delivery, he said, adding an auto engineer friend helped with making the flight possible.

Rajani, who comes from a family that is into textiles, said the drone saves time and costs for a company like his, which would otherwise depend on a two-wheeler borne agent to deliver the pizzas.

“What we have done now will be common place in the next four-five years,” he said, adding every such customised drone costs around USD 2,000.

At present, there are certain restrictions on the regulatory front like the drone not allowed to fly above 400 feet altitude and barred from flying over security establishments, he said, adding the American Federal Aviation Authority’s regulations on usage of drones, expected next year, will help.

Apart from that there are technical difficulties like a limited operating radius of 8 km after which the batteries go dry, he said, adding proper infrastructure like having charging stations can help.

Even though the four-rotor version drone had a limited carrying capacity, he said the payload capacity can be increased to up to 8 kg in case of a an eight-rotor drone.

A true devotee would never get disgusted at any point of time, nor get bored, tired or vexed listening to the same teachings. You may perhaps be hearing the same message over and over again from Bhagawan! How do you rationalize this? Don’t you take food repeatedly for the same stomach, several times during your lifetime? Don’t you wash the same face many times in a week? That music, which you consider as pleasurable, don’t you listen to it, many times frequently? Consider an even simpler example: you drink coffee or tea – have you ever got bored of it, despite consuming it for 15 or 20 years? You perhaps wait for that cup with excitement and enthusiasm, and will even get a headache if it is delayed by a couple of minutes! Similarly, it is essential to listen to such spiritual instructions, ruminate and experience the joy of devotion without the slightest feeling of disinterestedness.

’’தண்ணீருக்காக மூன்றாம் உலகப் போர் அல்ல.. உள்நாட்டுக்குள்ளேயே யுத்தம் தொடங்கிவிட்டது. ஆனாலும், நாம் நீர் ஆதாரங்களை பாதுகாக்க தவறிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்’’ என்கிறார் பியூஷ் மானுஷ்.

ராஜஸ்தானை பூர்வீகமாகக் கொண்டது பியூஷ் மானுஷின் குடும்பம். பியூஷ் பிறந்தது சேலம் என்பதால் அவர் தமிழராகவே மாறிவிட்டார். முற்போக்கு சிந்தனை கொண்ட பியூஷ் கல்லூரியில் படிக்கும்போதே கல்வி தனியார் மயமாவதை எதிர்த்து போராட்டம் நடத்தினார்.

விளைவு, இரண்டாம் ஆண்டிலேயே வீட்டுக்கு வழியனுப்பப்பட்டார். படித்தது போதும் என முடிவுக்கு வந்தவர், மக்களைப் படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். அப்புறம் நடந்தவைகளை அவரே நம்மிடம் விவரிக்கிறார்.

இயற்கைக்கு எதிரான இந்த அழிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை கண்டித்து கடந்த 10 வருடங்களாக போராடுகிறோம். போராட்டம் மட்டுமே பிரச்சினைக்கு தீர்வாகாது என்பதால் ஏரிகளை தூர்வாரும் பணிகளையும் தொடங்கினோம். எங்களது ’சேலம் மக்கள் குழு’வில் சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் 70 பேர் இருக்கிறோம். முதலில், 58 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவுள்ள சேலம் மூக்கனேரியை தூர்வாரி ஏரிக்குள் 48 திட்டுக்களை அமைத்தோம். ஒவ்வொரு திட்டிலும் 300 மரக்கன்றுகளை நட்டோம். ஒரே வருடத்தில் மரங்கள் வளர்ந்து இப்போது அங்கே பறவைகள் சரணாலயமே உருவாகிவிட்டது. இப்போது அந்த ஏரிக்கரையில் பூங்கா அமைக்கும் பணி நடக்கிறது.

இந்தப் பணிகள் அனைத்துமே சேலம் மக்களிடமிருந்து சிறுகச் சிறுகச் சேர்த்த நிதியிலிருந்துதான் செய்து முடித்திருக்கிறோம். தண்ணீர் பிடிப்பு பகுதிகளை பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகத்தான் மலைகள் மீது முருகனை உட்கார வைத்தோம். ஆனால், பணத்தாசை பிடித்தவர்கள் அந்த மலைகளையே உடைத்து விற்று காசாக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இதைத் தடுக்க வேண்டிய பொறுப்பும் கடமையும் அனைவருக்கும் இருக்கிறது.
