ரமணர் வாழ்வில்….சுவையான நிகழ்ச்சிகள்…Part 7

அப்படி என்னதான் இருக்கிறது திருவண்ணாமலையில்? கிரிவலம் வருவது எதனால்? என்பதைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ள இந்தக் கதையைப் படித்தாலே போதும்.

படைக்கும் கடவுளான பிரம்மாவுக்கும், காக்கும் கடவுளான விஷ்ணுவுக்கும் தங்களில் யார் பெரியவர்? என்ற வாக்குவாதம் எழுந்தது.

அதற்குத் தீர்வு தர, சிவபெருமான் ஓர் ஒளிப் பிழம்பாக, விஸ்வரூபம் காட்டி விண்ணுக்கும் மண்ணுக்கும் பெரிதாய் நின்றார். அன்றைய தினம்தான் சிவராத்திரி.

“என்னுடைய பாதத்தையோ, சிரசையோ யார் முதலில் காண்கிறார்களோ அவர்களே பெரியவர்.’’ என்றார் ஈசன்.

மகாவிஷ்ணு, வராக அவதாரம் எடுத்து பாதம் காண பாதாளம் நோக்கிப் பாய்ந்தார்.

பிரம்மனோ, தலை காண, அன்னப் பறவையாய் ஆரவாரமாய்ப் பறந்தார்.

காலங்கள் கடந்தன. விஷ்ணுவால் இறைவனின் பாதத்தைக் காண முடியவில்லை.

ஆதி அந்தம் இல்லாத சிவபெருமான்தான் மிகப் பெரியவர் என்பதை உணர்ந்த விஷ்ணு, தன் பிழையை உணர்ந்து தியானத்தில் ஆழ்ந்தார்.

பிரம்மா மட்டும் தோல்வியை ஒப்புக் கொள்ளவில்லை. யுகம் யுகமாய் சிவனின் தலையிலிருந்து விழுந்து கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு தாழம்பூவின் உதவியுடன், ‘நான் சிவனின்  தலையைக் கண்டுவிட்டேன்’ என்று பொய்யுரைத்தார்.

அப்புறம் என்ன? பொய் சொன்ன பிரம்மாவுக்கு பூவுலகில் பெரிதாய் வழிபாடு எங்கும் இல்லை. தாழம்பூவும் பூஜைக்குப் பயன்படாத மலர் ஆயிற்று.

நெருப்புத்தூணாக, பிரம்மாண்டமாக ஆரம்பமும் முடிவும் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாதவாறு பிரம்மாவுக்கும், விஷ்ணுவுக்கும் காட்சி தந்த இறைவன், பக்தர்களுக்கும் காட்சி தர  வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக, குளிர்ந்து, தன் உருவத்தை உள்ளடக்கி, அருணாசலமாக, திருவண்ணாமலையாக மாறினார்.

எல்லாம் வல்ல சிவபெருமானே இந்தத் திருவண்ணாமலை பற்றி என்ன சொல்கிறார் தெரியுமா?

”சூரியனிடமிருந்து சந்திரன் ஒளி பெறுவது போல பூமியில் உள்ள எல்லாத் தலங்களும் இந்தத் திருவண்ணாமலையால் ஒளி பெறுகின்றன. திருவண்ணாமலைதான்  ஓம்காரத்தின் உறைவிடம். ஒளி வெள்ளமாக நான் உரு எடுத்ததை பக்தர்களுக்கு நினைவூட்ட, கார்த்திகை தினத்தில் மலை உச்சியில் தீபமாகக் காட்சி தருவேன். இந்தத்  திருவண்ணாமலையை நினைத்தாலே முக்தி தருவேன்.’’ என்று ஆனந்தமாகக் கூறியிருக்கிறார் சிவபெருமான்.

காசியில் இறக்க முக்தி, திருவாரூரில் பிறக்க முக்தி, சிதம்பரத்தைத் தரிசித்தால் முக்தி. ஆனால் நினைத்தாலே முக்தி தரும் தலம் திருவண்ணாமலை. காசியில் இறப்பது எல்லோருக்கும் வாய்க்காது. திருவாரூரில் பிறப்பது நம் செயல் அன்று. சிதம்பரத்திற்கு நேரில் சென்று தரிசிப்பது என்பது எல்லோராலும் இயலாது. ஆனால் திருவண்ணாமலையை ஒரு முறையேனும் நினைப்பது யாவருக்கும் எளிதான செயலே. அவ்வாறு ஒரு முறை நினைத்தாலும் முக்தி எளிதில் வாய்க்கும் என்ற சிறப்பை உடையது திருவண்ணாமலை தலம்.

எங்கோ திருச்சுழியில் பிறந்த பகவான், திருவண்ணாமலை நாடி வந்த மகத்துவம் புரிகிறதா உங்களுக்கு? அது மட்டும் அல்ல, மனம், அறிவு, ஆன்மா ஆகிய மூன்றும்தான் விஷ்ணு, பிரம்மா, சிவன் என்று உருவகப்படுத்தி  உணர்ந்தால் வாழ்க்கையின் தத்துவம் புரிபடும்!

World”s Safest Airline ….

QANTAS has been named the world’s safest airline, after a year when fatal air accidents soared above the 10-year average.

In a report published by AirlineRatings.com last night, Qantas was lauded for amassing “an extraordinary record of firsts” in safety and operations over its 94-year history. It also has a fatality free record in the jet era.

The company’s rating system, which is endorsed by the International Civil Aviation Organization, a United Nations agency, takes into account a variety of factors related to audits from aviation’s governing bodies and lead associations as well as government audits and the airlines’ fatality records.

Operational histories and incident records were also analysed.

Qantas was named the leader in terms of real-time monitoring of its engines across its fleet using satellite communications.

“Doing so allows the airline to detect problems before they become a major safety issue,” the report says.

The airline was also described as a leader in the development of an avionics system that provides a direct data link communication between the pilot and the air traffic controller, as well as the development of flight data recorders to monitor plane and crew performance.

The report comes after what was “in no doubt” a bad year for airline safety, AirlineRatings.com said, adding 2014 included some of the industry’s most tragic and bizarre incidents.

“Certainly, 21 fatal accidents with 986 fatalities — higher than the 10-year average — is sickening. However, the world’s airlines carried a record 3.3 billion passengers on 27 million flights,” the report says.

AirlineRatings.com said the high number of deaths came despite the number of accidents for 2014 being at a record low 21 — one for every 1.3 million flights.

“Two of the crashes last year — MH370 and MH17 — were unprecedented in modern times and claimed 537 lives,” the report says.

“Flashback 50 years and there were a staggering 87 crashes killing 1,597 when airlines carried only 141 million passengers — five per cent of today’s number.”

The report rates 449 airlines. Making up the remainder of the top 10 in alphabetical order were Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, EVA Air, Finnair, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines.

Low-cost carriers were also included in a separate list, with Jetstar making the top 10 along with Aer Lingus, Alaska Airlines, Icelandair, Jetblue, Kulula.com, Monarch Airlines, Thomas Cook, TUI Fly and Westjet.

AirlineRatings has been used by millions of passengers from 232 countries and its safety rating.

But not recognizing this fact, people imagine themselves to be the doer and indulge in all kinds of speculation and self-praise. The Lord sees everything. No one can conceal anything from Him. He dwells within and outside every living being. Hence nothing can be hidden from Him. God is present in all beings in one and the same form. Although living beings vary in appearance from each other, God’s presence is consistent. The Sun shines over the water in the lake, in a well, in a vessel, in a river or over the ocean – it is reflected in many ways but the Sun is one. So too, God is one and the same in all beings. There is no one in the world nearer to you than the Divine.

The greatness of idlis!During the pre-independence days, an Iyer and a Britisher were travelling by the Howrah Express train, from Madras to Calcutta.  The train left Madras Central railway station at 8 p.m. sharp, and the next morning at 7 a.m., it was at Vijayawada.The Britisher had a sumptuous Spencer’s breakfast, delivered to him by a butler, in livery.  But the Iyer opened the top box of his 4-compartment, steel tiffin carrier, and ate two idlis.Lunch at Waltair station (asVisakhapatnam was then called), was a heavy meal served to the Britisher, by the Railway Refreshment stall.  But the Iyer only opened the second box of his tiffin carrier, pulled out 4 idlis, and ate them with relish.  The Britisher was curious, as to what was happening.  But being a Britisher, kept his stiff-upper-lip posture on.

But when the scene repeated, during dinner at Berhampur, the Britisher could no longer contain himself, and enquired from the Iyer, ” Sir, what are those white things you have been eating, all along? ”

The Iyer replied, ” Sir, these are called intelligence tablets.   We South Indians, can live on them for days, together. ”

Britisher: ” But how do you make them ? ”

The Iyer went into an elaborate description, of the raw materials and processes, of making idlis.


Britisher : ” Can you please give me a couple of them?  But you need not give them to me free of charge.  I’ll be happy to pay you, whatever price you quote. “The Iyer thought for a while, and said, “Actually, I have only three more of them left, for        tomorrow morning’s breakfast.  But since I am going to my relative’s place, I can spare them for you.  But they will cost you, 20 Indian Rupees each “.The Britisher paid up immediately, happy that he was so lucky.  The next morning, at the Howrah railway station in Calcutta, as they were about to part ways, the Britisher asked the Iyer, “But tell me sir, are you sure you have told me the entire process, without leaving out any details? “.Iyer replied, “Yes, I told you all the details”.

Britisher: “Then why were those intelligence tablets, so costly?”

The Iyer  replied,”See?!  You ate only 3 of them last night, and they have already started working?!”

Pretty soon, the engineer gets dissatisfied with the level of comfort in hell, and starts designing and building improvements. After a while, they’ve got air conditioning, flush toilets and escalators, and the engineer is becoming a pretty popular guy. One day God calls Satan up on the telephone and asks with a sneer, “So, how’s it going down there in hell?” Satan replies, “Hey, things are going great. We’ve got air conditioning, flush toilets and escalators, and there’s no telling what this engineer is going to come up with next.” God replies, “What??? You’ve got an engineer? That’s a mistake — he should never have gotten down there; send him up here.” Satan says, “No way! I like having an engineer on the staff, and I’m keeping him.” God says, “Send him back up here or I’ll sue.” Satan laughs uproariously and answers, “Yeah right. SHANI SHINGNAPUR:  Members of the Gade family proudly show off a stash of rupees kept in an unlocked tin barrel in their bedroom, despite their home not having a front door.

In Shani Shingnapur village in Maharashtra, residents see little need for such security, thanks to their belief in special protection from the Hindu deity Shani.

As farmers trundle the roads in bullock carts piled high with sugarcane, they pass rows of homes bearing empty door frames — a village tradition that goes back for generations.

“Years ago, Shani came in the dreams of devotees and told them you don’t need to put any doors on your homes,” housewife Jayashree Gade told news agency AFP.

“He said: ‘I will protect you’. That’s why we don’t have any doors.”

According to legend, an iron and stone slab washed up in a nearby river during a flood more than 300 years ago, and began oozing blood when cattle herders poked it with a stick.

In a vision to a villager later that night, the slab was revealed to be an idol of Shani, and today it stands in an open square adorned with garlands of flowers, drawing crowds of pilgrims.

Shani, who is believed to be manifested in the planet Saturn, is considered so mighty that his shrine cannot be kept under a shelter — and he will not let thieves in the village of open homes go unpunished.

Some villagers said they put loose panels against their door frames at night, but only to keep out wild animals.

Similarly, the local branch of state-owned UCO Bank prides itself on its “lockless” status. Although money is kept in a strongroom, the front of the building has just a glass door with no lock, to avert stray dogs

“We have no trouble,” said bank official Nagender Sehrawat, gesturing to the queue of customers when asked if they were happy with the arrangement.

Shani Shingnapur’s reputation has been somewhat dented in recent years by reports of a few thefts. In 2010, a visitor from the North complained that cash and valuables worth 35,000 rupees  were taken from a vehicle.

According to a pamphlet handed out at the shrine, Shani Shingnapur is not just free from theft but from all sinful behaviour, a “model village” in contrast to the corrupt outside world.

“Professional robbers, thieves, dacoits, non-vegetarians, drunkards, never come here,” the pamphlet confidently stated.
“If they come, they behave like gentlemen.”

மௌனமாக இருப்பது மிகவும் நல்லது. அது ஒரு விரதம் தான். ஆனால் வாயை மட்டும் மூடிக் கொண்டு மனம் அலைபாய்ந்து கொண்டிருக்குமானால் அது மௌனமாகாது. அதனால் எந்தப் பயனும் இல்லை.

திருவண்ணாமலை கிரிவலத்தை பகவான் எப்போதும் ஊக்குவித்தார். உடல் நலம் குன்றியவர்கள்,முதியவர்கள் கூடகிரிவலம் செல்வதை ரமணர் தடுத்ததில்லை. ‘‘அமைதியாக இறைவனை நினைத்துக் கொண்டு நடந்து செல்லுங்கள்’’என்றே அவர் கூறுவார். அனைவரும் திருவண்ணாமலையைச் சுற்றி வந்து இறைவனின் ஆசியைப் பெற வேண்டும் என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டேயிருப்பார். பகவானும் பல முறை கிரிவலம் சென்றுள்ளார். அண்ணாமலையைச் சுற்றி வருவது பற்றி ஒரு உண்மைக் கதையையும் பகவான் பக்தர்களிடம் சொல்வார்.கதையின் க்ளைமாக்ஸ் பகுதியை மட்டும் அவர் சொன்னதேயில்லை.அந்த க்ளைமாக்ஸை பகவானின் அனுக்ரஹத்துடன் நான் உங்களுக்கு இங்கே சொல்லப் போகிறேன்.

திருவண்ணாமலை கிரிவலத்தின் சிறப்பைப் பற்றி பகவான் சொல்லும் உண்மைக் கதை இதுதான்.

கால்கள் இரண்டும் உணர்விழந்து தொங்கிப் போன ஒரு பெரியவர், கவட்டுக் கட்டைகளின் உதவியுடன், நொண்டி நொண்டி கிரிவலம் வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்.அவர் அதுபோல் அடிக்கடி மலை வலம் வருவது உண்டு. ஆனால் இந்த முறை வழக்கமான உற்சாகமின்றி, மிகுந்த சோர்வுடனும் கலக்கத்துடனும் அந்த மாற்றுத் திறனாளி மலையைச் சுற்றி வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்.

அதற்குக் காரணம் இருந்தது.பல முறை கிரிவலம் வந்திருந்தாலும் இதுதான் கடைசி முறை என்ற முடிவுக்கு அவர் வந்திருந்தார்.
ஏன்?

கால்கள் தொய்வுற்ற தான் தன் குடும்பத்திற்கு பாரமாக இருந்து வருவதாக அவருக்குத் தோன்றிற்று. குடும்பத்தினருக்குத் தன்னால் எந்தப் பிரயோஜனமும் இல்லை.அவர்களுக்குச் சிரமம் மட்டும் கொடுப்பது சரியில்லை என்று அவருக்குப் புலனாகவே, பாரமாக இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதற்காக, அவர்களை விட்டு விலகி, யாரிடமும் சொல்லாமல் கண் காணாமல் ஏதாவது ஒரு கிராமத்துக்குச் சென்றுவிடலாம் என்று அந்தப் பெரியவர் முடிவெடுத்தார்.அதனால் கடைசி முறையாக திருவண்ணா-மலைக்கு கிரிவலம் செய்ய வந்திருந்தார்.

விந்தி,விந்தி சூம்பிய கால்களுடன் பெரியவர் திருவண்ணாமலையை வலம் வந்து கொண்டிருந்தபோது,பாதி வழியில் ஒரு வாலிபன் எதிர்ப்பட்டான்.

பெரியவரை நெருங்கிய வாலிபன், “ஓய், கால் சரியில்லாத நீ கவட்டைக்கட்டையுடன் கிரிவலம் வரவேண்டும் என்று யார் அழுதார்கள்? இப்படி நடந்தால் எல்லாம் நீ மலையைச் சுற்றி வர முடியாது. இதெல்லாம் உனக்குச் சரிப்படாது’’ என்று கூறிக் கொண்டே, எதிர்பாராத ஒரு செயலைச் செய்தான்.

ஆமாம்.அந்தப் பெரியவருக்கு உதவியாக இருந்த கோல்கள் இரண்டையும் வெடுக்கெனப் பிடுங்கித் தூர எறிந்துவிட்டு,அவன் பாட்டுக்குச் சென்றுவிட்டான்.

அந்தப் பெரியவருக்குத் தாங்க முடியவில்லை. கோபம் பொத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தது. வந்தான், திட்டினான், கவட்டைக் கட்டையைப் பிடுங்கினான், தூர எறிந்தான். இப்படியா ஒருத்தன் மனிதாபிமானமே இல்லாமல் இருப்பான்? ஆவேசத்துடன் அவனைத் திட்ட ஆரம்பித்த அந்தப் பெரியவர், ஒரு நிமிடம் தன்னைப் பார்த்தார். உடம்பும் மனமும் சிலிர்த்து, அப்படியே நின்றார்.

ஆமாம்.கால் ஊனம் காணாமல் போய்,கவட்டுக் கட்டைகளின் உதவியின்றி ஜம்மென்று நேராய் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தார் அந்தப் பெரியவர். அந்த இளைஞன் சென்ற திசை நோக்கி அவர் தொழுதார். அவர் கண்களிலிருந்து ஆனந்தம் அலை பாய்ந்தது.

அதற்குப் பிறகு திருவண்ணாமலையை விட்டு அந்தப் பெரியவர் எங்குமே செல்லவில்லை.

இந்த உண்மைச் சம்பவத்தை பக்தர்கள் பலரிடமும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார் பகவான். இதோ இந்த விரூபாட்ஷி குகையில் பகவான் இருந்த போது நடந்த சம்பவம் இது. அந்தப் பெரியவர் அதற்குப் பிறகு பல்லாண்டுகள் இதே திருவண்ணாமலையில் வாழ்ந்து மறைந்ததைப் பலரும் அறிவார்கள். அருணாசல மலையைச் சுற்றி வருவதால் அத்தனை பலன் உண்டு என்பதைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டவே ரமண மகரிஷி இதைச் சொல்வார்.

ஆனால் இந்த உண்மைக் கதையில் பகவான் சொல்லாத ஒரு விஷயத்தை நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். பகவான் கடைசி வரை அதன் க்ளைமாக்ஸைத் தன் வாயால் சொல்லவே இல்லை.

ஆமாம். அது என்ன தெரியுமா?

விரூபாட்ஷி குகையில் பகவான் இருந்த போது அவரது வயது என்ன? 20. கால் சுவாதீனமில்லாத பெரியவரின் ஊன்றுகோலைப் பிடுங்கி எறிந்து குறும்பு செய்தது யார்? ஓர் இளைஞன்.

ஆமாம். நம் பகவான் ரமண மகரிஷிதான் அந்த இளைஞன்!

எழுதும்போதே மெய் சிலிர்க்கிறது.கால்கள் கொடுத்தவர் பகவான்தான். அவர் செய்யாத அற்புதங்கள் இல்லை.ஆனால் அவர் அதையெல்லாம் சொல்லிக் கொண்டதும் இல்லை.தட்சிணாமூர்த்தியின் அம்சமாயிற்றே. கடவுள் எல்லாம் நன்மைகள் செய்துவிட்டு, தான்தான் செய்தோம் என்று என்றைக்காவது சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்களா என்ன?நம் குரு தேவரும் அப்படித்தான்.

அப்போது என்று இல்லை.இப்போதும் நீங்கள் ரமணாச்ரமம் சென்று பகவானின் சன்னதி முன்னால் நின்று பாருங்கள்.உங்களுக்கு என்ன கிடைக்க வேண்டுமோ அதையெல்லாம் உடனே தருவார் பகவான். இந்த அனுபவத்தை உணர்ந்தவர்கள் ஆயிரம், ஆயிரம்!

கிரிவலம் சென்றால் இத்தனை நன்மை இருக்கிறதே, அப்படி என்னதான் இருக்கிறது அந்தத் திருவண்ணாமலையில்?

முழு தியான நிலை என்பது கிணற்றில் கயிற்றால் கட்டித் தொங்கும் குடம் (தோண்டி) போன்றது. குடத்தில் உள்ள தண்ணீர் (மனம்),கிணற்றில் குடம் அமிழும்போது கிணற்று நீருடன் (ஆன்மா)ஒன்று கலந்து விடுகிறது. ஆனாலும் குடத்தில் நிரம்பிய நீரோ, கயிற்றின் (அகந்தையின்) மற்றொரு நுனியால் வெளியே இழுக்கப்பட்டுவிடும்.

விரூபாட்ஷி குகையில் பகவான் இருந்தபோது கண் பார்வை இல்லாத ஒரு பாட்டி,தினமும் தட்டுத் தடுமாறி யார் உதவியுடனாவது மலை ஏறி வந்து, பகவானுக்கு ஏதாவது அன்புடன் தருவாள்.

அன்றைய தினம், பாட்டி பகவானுக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த அரிசிப் பொரியைக் கொண்டு வந்தாள்.ரமண மகரிஷியும் அதை அன்புடன் பெற்றுக் கொண்டு, “பாட்டி, உனக்கோ முடியவில்லை. கண் பார்வையும் இல்லை. எதற்காக இவ்வளவு கஷ்டப்பட்டு மலையேறி வருகிறாய்?’’என்று வினவினார்.

அந்தப் பாட்டி, “பகவானே, உங்களை தரிசனம் செய்யத்தான் வருகிறேன்’’ என்றாள்.

”பகவானே, என்னால் உங்களைப் பார்க்க முடியாதுதான். ஆனால் உங்கள் அருட்பார்வை என் மீது விழுமே.அந்த பாக்கியத்துக்காகத்தான் நான் தினமும் வருகிறேன்’’ என்றாள் பாட்டி.

சிலந்திப் பூச்சி,எப்படி தன் வாயிலிருந்து வெளியில் நூலை நூற்று, மறுபடியும் தன்னுள் இழுத்துக் கொள்கிறதோ அப்படியே மனமும் தன்னிடத்திலிருந்து உலகத்தைத் தோற்றுவித்து, மறுபடியும் தன்னிடமே ஒடுக்கிக் கொள்கிறது.
–பகவான் ஸ்ரீ ரமண மகரிஷி
திருவண்ணாமலையின் தென்கிழக்குச் சரிவில் அமைந்திருக்கும் விரூபாட்ஷி குகையில் பகவான் பல வருடங்கள் இருந்தார்.அப்போது குகைக்கு வெளியே, மலைச் சரிவு அருகில் ஒரு பாறை இருந்தது. அதன் மேல் பகவான் தினமும் அரை மணி நேரம் அமர்ந்திருப்பார்.அங்கே உட்கார்ந்துதான் தினமும் பல் துலக்குவார்.
கடும் பனியாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, கொட்டும் மழையாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, பகவான் அந்தப் பாறையில் அமர்வதை தவறவிட்டதே இல்லை..
பக்தர்களுக்கு இது வியப்பாக இருந்தது. “பகவானே, மழை, பனியில் கூட ஏன் பாறையில் போய் அமர்கிறீர்கள்.உடம்பு சுகம் இல்லாமல் போய்விடாதா? குகைக்குள் இருந்தபடியே பல் தேய்த்தால் என்ன?’’ என்று துணிந்து ஒருவர் கேட்டுவிட்டார்.
பகவான் கேள்வி கேட்டவரைப் பார்த்துப் புன்னகைத்தார்.”கீழே மலையடிவாரத்தில் சௌபாக்கியத்தம்மாள் என்று வயதான பெண்மணி ஒருத்தி குடியிருக்கிறாள். அவள் தினமும் இங்கே வந்து என்னைப் பார்த்துவிட்டுப் போய்தான் உணவருந்துவாள்.ஒரு நாள் அவள் வரவில்லை. ஏன் வரவில்லை என்று மறுநாள் கேட்டேன். “வயசாச்சு சாமி. மலையேறி வர முடியல. உடம்பு முடியல. ஆனா உங்களைத் தரிசனம் செய்யாம எப்படி இருக்கறதுன்னு தவிச்சபடியே மலை மேலே பார்த்தேன். அந்தக் காலை நேரத்துலதான் நீங்க வெளியில இருக்கற பாறை மேல உட்கார்ந்து இருந்தீங்க. கீழே இருந்தபடியே உங்களைவிழுந்து கும்பிட்டேன் சாமி’’ன்னு கண் கலங்கினா.
பாவம், வயசான காலத்துல அவளால எப்படி மலையேறி வரமுடியும்? அதனாலதான் அவளுக்காக தினமும் காலையில் இந்தப் பாறையில் உட்கார்ந்துக்கறேன். மழை, பனி எதுவா இருந்தாலும் அந்த வயசான அம்மா ஏமாந்துடக் கூடாதே? பாவம், அவ அண்ணாந்து பாத்துக்கிட்டிருப்பாளே. அதான்’’ என்றார் பகவான்.
நீங்களே சொல்லுங்கள். யாரோ ஒரு ஏழை பக்தைக்காக பல வருடங்கள் தினமும் அரை மணி நேரம் ஓர் பாறையில் அமர்ந்திருந்த ஓர் அளவற்ற கருணை கொண்டவரை, ரமணரைத் தவிர உலகம் எங்காவது கண்டிருக்கிறதா?

Message For the Day…” What is the True Devotion to God … ” ?

In ancient times, sages who performed severe penance to realise the Ultimate Reality, experienced Him and declared that the Supreme Lord is beyond Tamas. This means, to experience the Lord we must get rid of our Tamo-guna (the darkness of ignorance). The Lord is beyond the veil of Tamas. When the veil is removed, the Lord can be seen. If one is filled with Tamo-guna from head to foot, how can they experience God? You have a mountain of desires in your heart; you offer a petty coconut to the Lord! Is this love? Is this devotion? No! It is not the way to pray to the Lord. To seek a favour is not prayer at all. On the contrary, the person filled with selfless love will accomplish anything in life, and is ever ready to make any sacrifice. You are God. Get rid of your body consciousness, and you will realise your Divinity. Develop the qualities of love and sacrifice.
